Chapter 410: Chapter 411: Gratitude

The moment Alexander stepped forward, all eyes were on him. The members of the Loki Familia silently watched the man who had just saved them from the deadly threat.

Alexander's intervention had been decisive—without him, the Loki Familia would have sustained heavy casualties in their battle.

"Thank you…" Ais took a step forward, her usually reserved demeanor giving way to a sense of duty. Despite her shy nature, Ais had a strong sense of gratitude. Whoever Alexander was, she felt the need to thank him.

But before she could proceed, Riveria placed a hand on her shoulder, holding her back.

"Be cautious. We don't know who he is or what his intentions might be," Riveria warned.

Ais hesitated but eventually nodded, suppressing her urge to approach him.

"This man… he's human, right?" Tiona murmured in disbelief.

Ais, equally perplexed, nodded silently. Her gaze, however, remained fixed on Alexander.

In Orario, it was practically unheard of for anyone to single-handedly reach the 50th floor of the dungeon. Even Level 6 adventurers struggled to go that far alone. Perhaps the Level 7 adventurer, Ottar, could manage such a feat—but even that was uncertain.

Who exactly was this man?

Alexander, on the other hand, seemed unfazed by the attention. He shook his head with a wry smile.

"The 50th floor, huh? Looks like it'll take me a while to get out of here."

Alexander was still unsure of Hestia and the others' whereabouts, but he believed they were safe at Hestia's side. His priority now was to reunite with them as quickly as possible. Only then could he truly relax.

He paid no further attention to the Loki Familia and moved without hesitation. In the blink of an eye, his figure disappeared into an afterimage.

It wasn't until Alexander vanished that the members of the Loki Familia snapped out of their daze.

"He's gone!" someone exclaimed.

"Was he really human? But who is he? How can someone wield such incredible power?"

"I don't know," another replied, frustration evident in their voice.

Meanwhile, a group of adventurers had gone to scout the 51st floor. When they returned, their faces were pale with shock.

"Captain! The 51st floor… it's completely cleared out!"

"What?! Cleared out?!" Finn's expression darkened. Their goal was to push deeper into the dungeon, all the way to the 59th floor. But with the monsters already eradicated, what would they do now? Take a leisurely stroll?

Ais, observing Finn's troubled expression, spoke thoughtfully.

"Captain, if we rest for a night, the monsters might respawn."

"No," Finn replied firmly. "We can't afford to stay here any longer. You all saw how dangerous those monsters were. Many of us were injured in just one charge. Tiona and Tione's weapons were corroded as well.

"If we press on, the risks will only increase. Besides… the dungeon isn't going anywhere. But that man—there's no guarantee we'll find him again. It's better to return and report this to Loki."

Finn's decision was final, and the members of the Loki Familia reluctantly agreed. There was an unshakable feeling that this mysterious man's appearance would have a profound impact on Orario.

As they began their retreat, they were met with yet another shock: every floor from the 50th to the 1st was completely cleared of monsters.

"That man… did he do all of this alone?" Riveria murmured, her expression growing increasingly grim.

Ais, walking silently beside her, lowered her head. She didn't know what to say. One thought, however, kept repeating in her mind.

"I haven't thanked him yet."

Even in this moment, Ais couldn't shake her desire to express her gratitude.

Meanwhile, Alexander had finally reached Hestia's home. When he entered the small, dilapidated church and saw everyone safe and sound, a wave of relief washed over him.

"Thank goodness everyone's okay," Alexander said with a sigh.

He had been worried they might have been teleported to some dangerous part of the dungeon. If they'd ended up on the 100th floor, for instance, it would have been catastrophic given their current strength.

Hestia, seeing Alexander's safe return, let out a relieved sigh of her own.

"I'm glad you're alright, but… where have you been? And why did it take you so long to get back?"
