Snape released her, his brows furrowed deeply.

"You should be back in your dormitory with your prefect by now!"

"Sorry, Professor," Orli said frantically, wanting to escape his sight quickly and find Hermione. "I'll leave right away."

"You think I'll let you continue running wild in the castle?"

Snape glanced at her, then looked toward the fourth floor. After a moment's hesitation, he waved his wand. A silver thread extended from his wand tip, one end attaching to Orli's foot, the other stretching straight up the stairs toward the eighth floor.

"I have urgent business to attend to, but don't try any tricks. Follow this thread, and if you deviate even slightly, I'll know immediately. Now, get back to your dormitory at once!"

He spoke to Orli in a threatening tone before striding off toward the fourth-floor corridor.

At this moment, he must have been worried about the Philosopher's Stone's safety, fearing someone might use the troll's chaos as a diversion. He needed to check on the stone and couldn't spare attention for anything else.

Orli slowly walked a few steps along the thread, continuing until she turned a corner and was sure Snape could no longer see her. Then she reached down and removed her shoes. As expected, the thread was only attached to her shoe sole, leaving her feet free.

She felt a moment of triumph at her cleverness, dropped her shoes, and turned to run back toward the bathrooms she hadn't checked yet.

She wasn't being reckless - she had decided to just take a quick look from afar, just to confirm Hermione was safe.

Although in the original story, the trio always managed to escape danger, now that she was actually here and every friend was a real person of flesh and blood, she simply couldn't return to her dormitory and stand idly by, especially since she was partly responsible for Hermione's tears today.

Soon, Orli found the bathroom from the original story at the end of a corridor. The troll's unbearable stench - like a mixture of dirty socks and an uncleaned public toilet - was impossible to ignore.

Sounds of chaotic fighting and shouting reached her ears - it seemed Harry and the others had already encountered the troll! Orli tiptoed quickly to hide behind a wide pillar. From here, she could easily see the whole scene:

The girls' bathroom was completely wrecked, with the twelve-foot-tall troll swinging its club and charging around inside.

Harry had already jumped onto its neck, clinging tightly with both hands. His wand was stuck straight up the troll's nostril, driving it into a frenzy.

Hermione seemed paralyzed with fear, collapsing onto the floor. Ron pulled out his wand and shouted the only spell he could think of:

"Wingardium Leviosa!"

"Yes, Ron, that's it, well done!" Orli cheered from behind the pillar, pumping her fist.

Ron levitated the troll's club into the air. According to the original plot, the club should fall and knock out the troll, saving everyone.

But Orli watched as the club rose high into the air, slowly rotated, then fell, missing the troll completely and crashing onto the floor tiles with a loud "thud."

What was happening?! Orli was dumbfounded - this was completely different from the story she knew!

The troll seemed confused for a moment but quickly retrieved its club and continued its frenzied destruction. The bathroom was in chaos; a shattered ceramic sink flew in all directions, cutting Hermione's hands and face, leaving her covered in scrapes.

Ron nearly took a direct hit to the head from the wooden club - he only survived by tripping at the crucial moment, though his chin was badly gashed in the fall.

Harry was in even greater danger. The troll had already pulled the wand from its nose with its thick fingers and carelessly tossed it aside. Now Harry had no chance to cast spells. The troll walked to the wall and began slamming its back against it, with Harry desperately hanging onto its neck trying to dodge. At one point, Orli saw him turn pale and grunt in pain, apparently injured.

This was bad! If this continued, they would die! They wouldn't last until the professors arrived!
