While Samuel was busy conversing with Miranda, there were some parties in the large Estate worried about their current predicament.

" Where is Linh?" Tom asked. He was like a leader of the group of ’geniuses’ that Samuel rescued last night. But it was more safe to say that unlike others, he still had some empathy left and took care of needs of his brethrens.

All twelve of them had eccentric personality which meant, someone had to take charge so that they wouldn’t do something outrageous. Tom was the only one who was at the cusp of truly losing himself like the others or understanding some kind of human emotion. Others, including Linh respected him because he helped them many times in the past few months since their ’group’ was formed.

" I asked, they told me she was still asleep." One of the three girls in the group informed him. Unlike them, Linh was staying in the main mansion which was puzzling for them considering she never liked to socialise with other people.

" That’s surprising, I still remember she would get extremely agitated if her ’schedule’ was broken in any way." Tom murmured and looked around.

Just earlier, he saw the mysterious young man who seemed to be the owner of this place. They knew he was the target they were set to exploit on Richard’s command. Unlike their old ’boss’ the young man seemed friendly. He spoke eloquently and displayed exceptional temperament without treating them like others they came in contact with all their life.

Tom knew what strangers thought of him and his fellow colleagues, some called them freaks because they weren’t able to take care of themselves on their own while other exploited their minds because they knew how hard it was to them to discern good from bad.

" Should we look for her? What if something happened to her?" Another girl from the group said with some concern. She was just a tad bit taller than Linh with curvy frame, people usually called her fat but Tom knew she just liked to eat when she was nervous.

" I don’t know. I mean, I never knew he would suddenly give us such a task." He pointed at the Disha who was currently conversing with others of his group. Few of them were happy getting attention from such a pretty girl while others were testing out their new system.

Tom never thought the young man would give them unfettered access especially when they were connected to his home system. If they liked, they could do pretty much anything to anyone in this compound without them even noticing their presence.

" I like it here. We don’t have to get beat up or yelled at. There is also a wide space for us to move around and no one even questions us when we go out to take a look." One of the boys added filling the silence.

" There is also a lot of good food. We can also ask for anything if we need and they would prepare it for us. I saw they had a very large dedicated kitchen filled with many chefs. We also have clean clothes that we can wear."

" I know what you all are thinking but haven’t we learn nothing from our previous experience? How could we trust him knowing that he could very well do the same what others did to us?" Tom paused and looked at everyone. He kept his voice low so that Disha didn’t hear him beside he was using Vietnamese, a language everyone decided to learn following in Linh’s footsteps.

It only took them a month to get through everything and they could use it to communicate among themselves keeping their conversation private if they needed it to be. There were other options but Tom was sure the girl that Samuel brought wasn’t from that place so she wouldn’t understand what they were saying.

They had already checked to bugs in their system and also scanned the whole place for any listening or recording device. Being computer nerds, they had everything that they need to make an impromptu scanner for the job. After all Richard had led them to many dangerous places around the world where few of them had to go in person to do the ’job’.

" I don’t know I think he is different. Even Linh trusts him."

" Yes, she is the most cynical among us. I think we can trust her judgement." Others also conveyed similar sentiment on the matter but Tom knew everything came with a price. He didn’t know how they managed to convince Linh but he wouldn’t let himself be chained twice.

If push came to shove, he would utilize their lax security measure to come up with a plan of escape. Looking at his colleagues, he could tell few of them wouldn’t be able to make it. They were good with numbers and codes but not good with their bodies.

" Fine, we can take this time to thoroughly go through his life with a fine comb. We have everything we can need here but If I find anything amiss, we will flee. He must have a ulterior motive to bring us here." Tom said with a stern voice. Others nodded agreeing with him before heading back to begin their work.

Meanwhile, Disha was amazed to say the least. She had never seen such extraordinary systems before. Back in her country, the technology was just beginning to get integrated in everyday life but because she had somewhat wealthy parents, she had the privilege to own a personal system when she was in highschool.

The bulky monitor who utilized cathode ray tube to print on prosperous screen looked as ancient as it gets. Not to mention to get any internet, she would have to regularly use the dial up line which was barely enough to browse sites. Coupled with the fact, she could only do it late at night when everyone in her household was asleep.

Regardless of all the issues, she fell in love with these strange machines. But then her body hit puberty meaning she began to exude exceptional beauty among her peers. It’s not like she didn’t like the attention but when it started to get out of hands, it became a troublesome issue.

A few family members who had some ties in the industry made it possible for her to audition in front of some willing people. Strangely they too liked her. She was happy to earn some money before she even became a proper adult, it was shown when she looked at her parents proud expression.

But no matter how much she liked the modelling world, she felt a part of her life slipping away. It was the reason why she took up to study a subject like computer science as her major. It did gave her extra burden because of her work but she was happy to learn more about her hobby.

Now Samuel made it possible for her to interact with someone the ’best consul’ in the field, it was like a dream come true for her. She also found these people a charming in their own way, they talked without any animated gestures and answered her every question no matter how silly they were.

In this moment, she even forgot why Anastasiya brought her here in the first place which was exactly what Samuel hoped for!

Similar discussion were happening among the other group of people that he rescued. The girls were much more emotional by the whole situation, they had their freedom but at what cost? Few of them were able to know about the things from talking with staff member who served them food.

They were much more confused, unlike Linh and others they didn’t know Samuel and never even met him before. He was said to be the owner of this place and for some inexplicable reason was trying to help them?

His people praised him and said everything would be alright but how? They knew their situation well, few of them lived through hell just to survive, they were among the oldest to be imprisoned in that place. They didn’t even know which country they were in but they weren’t allowed to see the light or go outside and were just kept there like ’animals’.

Every new week, two or more girls would join their group and were discarded back to that horrible room after the ’boss’ was done with them. The oldest one had been in that place for three months, after first few week they were forgotten and were left to his subordinates to ’manage’.

With their pants down, they wouldn’t feel a thing being smashed in the head but right when they were about to act, they witnessed a miracle or was it because they prayed to anyone who would listen that the devil himself came to their rescue?

They didn’t know but that man clad in black did just that, he was like a devil using his bare hands to tear them from limb to limb. That stench and those screams, they never heard anything like that before. Some of them even smiled witness such a sight, they took pleasure in their perpetrator’s misery. It was truly a hellish sight!
