Hogwarts: The Unscientific Wizard (TL)

"Right!"

Hermione pouted in embarrassment.

The young witch had always been a good student and had never before thought about, let alone done, something like sneaking out of boarding school.

"Then I'll go in and see them…"

Then, Hermione turned to Andy and asked, "Do you want to come in and have a seat?"

"I'll pass!"

Andy laughed lightly, "You will have a family chat, so I won't intrude. I will visit aunt and uncle again in the future; I didn't prepare anything this time."

"Then... I'll go in." After saying this, Hermione took a deep breath and then walked towards the door.

When she reached the door, Hermione glanced back at Andy.

Andy smiled and said, "Go in!"

Hermione took a deep breath.

Sneaking out of school to see her parents...it took a bit of courage.

Ding-dong –

The doorbell rang.

In a moment, Mrs. Granger opened the door and looked at Hermione in surprise. "Oh, Hermione, dear, what are you..."

Hermione glanced back but didn't see Andy.

"Hi, Mum."

Hermione turned her head and looked at Mrs Granger, beaming, "Mum, I was practising a spell and decided to drop in. It's called Apparition, the one Dad told you about."

"Oh yes, he did."

Mrs. Granger was delighted to see her daughter and quickly stepped aside, "Come on in, dear."

Hermione smiled and followed.

Once they were inside, Andy's figure slowly appeared in a corner.

Taking out his wand, Andy lightly tapped it against the house. A bright white magical barrier instantly spread from the tip of his wand and soon enveloped the entire house.

Done!

Protego totalum. A protective enchantment.

Andy made some changes.

The magical barrier here will only target magical creatures with magical powers, while for ordinary people without magical powers, this enchantment will not have any effect.

"This will do."

Andy said, scratching his head.

Before coming here, Andy had planned to persuade Hermione's parents to stay at home for a few days. After the Dementor outbreak was suppressed, they could return to their normal work and lives.

However, after Professor McGonagall brought up the Duelling Club, Andy had forgotten about this for a while.

If Hermione's parents went to work as normal, the magical barrier would only protect them at night.

The dementors wouldn't care whether it was day or night.

'I hope Hermione remembers,'

Andy mused, 'But it's no use hoping. She's not a liar. If she makes up a lame excuse, then it's best not to say anything at all.'

Pop!

 A sudden sound of air popping made Andy alert.

"Is this the place?"

"Yes! The Ministry has detected traces of magic here, but no wizard lives here... I mean, no adult wizard... A young witch is staying here, who is still at Hogwarts."

"Hogwarts..."

"Don't be careless; it's chaotic out there. Those disgusting creatures have caused a lot of commotion, and I don't know what's got into them."

"You're being paranoid. Maybe a wizard just passed by..."

However, before he could finish his sentence, the man saw a flash of magic beam, and his companion was instantly hit, flying backwards and falling to the ground unconscious.

The rest of his sentence was immediately choked back.

The man's mouth hung open, looking a little incredulous.

But before he could raise his wand, another flash of magic beam knocked him flying.

"The Ministry of Magic..."

Andy muttered, "Do they have the ability to detect every trace of magic? This is going to be trouble."

As for these two...

Andy walked over and had a look at the two people on the ground.

After thinking for a moment, Andy crouched down and placed his wand against someone's temple, modifying his memory.

Then, Andy did the same thing again and modified the other person's memory.

After all, this is Hermione's home, and if someone from the Ministry of Magic is attacked here, it will be easy to associate it with Andy and Hermione.

Andy is right. Dumbledore will make the connection!

Using the levitation charm to control the two, Andy leads them to a bar.

Drinking a little during duty. Shouldn't be a problem, right?

Except that they drank too much...

After dealing with the Ministry of Magic, Andy returned to Hermione's house.

After about half an hour, the Granger couple sent Hermione out.

Andy still used the Disillusionment Charm to remain invisible and did not show himself.

"Dad, Mum, I'll leave first," Hermione said, waving goodbye.

"See you in the summer holidays, dear," Mrs. Granger waved back.

Hermione looked around but did not see Andy's figure.

In frustration, Hermione could only use Apparition to temporarily leave the place.

"Oh, there she goes! This is amazing! Is this real magic?" Mrs Granger looked incredulous.

"Yes, it is amazing. I was even more surprised than you when I first witnessed it, too," Mr Granger said.

The two of them shut the door as they spoke.

Two minutes later.

"Andy, are you here?" Hermione's voice drifted through the air.

"I am," Andy's figure appeared instantly.

Hermione appeared as well, looking relieved. "It's done; let's go back!"

"How did you convince them?" Andy asked curiously.

Hermione laughed lightly and said, "They watched the news. Right now, the TV is full of news about someone being attacked and sent to the hospital, and the assailant is still on the loose."

"They decided to take a few days off and see how the situation develops."

Andy nodded slightly. "That's good to hear! I've also finished casting the ward, which will protect them from the dementors."

"Great!"

Hermione said, and then asked, "Are you sure you don't want to go back and have a look?"

Andy laughed, "My parents are both wizards, and they can cast the Patronus charm well enough to protect themselves from the dementors. We'll get a safe house ready during the summer holidays, so we won't even have to worry about the Dark Lord."

Not only that, Andy's family always stocks up on Portkeys.

If there is real danger, it is easy for them to escape.

"Then let's go back!" Hermione said.

"Come on!" Andy held out his hand.

Hermione placed her hand in Andy's.

With a light sound, the next moment, the two figures appeared in the Forbidden Forest.

"Fifty minutes; it's not even 7:30 yet..."

Andy suddenly felt a little upset as he said this: "We should use this spell to go out and have fun more often."

It felt like they were missing out on a lot.

Hermione gave Andy a reproachful look. "We've broken at least ten school rules this time."

Andy chuckled, "Are you going to confess to the professors?"

"Hmm..."

Hermione pretended to hesitate for a moment. "Never mind! For this year's House Cup."

"Be careful! Don't let anyone from Gryffindor hear that," Andy teased.

The two of them walked towards the castle, bantering and laughing.
