Hikigaya's Inner World of Spring

Chapter 111: Chapter 111: Mrs. Sayuri, the Tiger in Sheep’s Clothing

Sayuri had initially thought of teasing Hikigaya as a playful way to get back at him for lying to her. She had only wanted to toy with him a little, but somehow, her thoughts had manifested into action.

Before she knew it, she had actually pulled Hikigaya's head onto her thigh.

To be honest, when she learned that Hikigaya was the boy her daughter admired, Sayuri had decided to keep a respectable distance from him as a mother. She resolved not to entertain any peculiar ideas.

So when she realized what she had just done, she was genuinely startled.

However...

The moment the boy's lips brushed her thigh, a strange, faint stirring blossomed in her heart.

How many years had it been since she had felt this way?

She didn't dislike it.

In fact...

She felt oddly happy.

The sensation brought her mind back to the last time the two of them had an "incident"—the accidental kiss in the public restroom at the zoo.

"W-Wait!" Hikigaya wriggled free from Sayuri's hold, his voice trembling. "Mrs. Sawamura, what are you doing?!"

"You should call me sister~," Sayuri replied with a mischievous smile, her alluring eyes fixed on him.

"Wha—?" Hikigaya's face twitched. "That's not a reason!"

"Well," Sayuri leaned closer, her soft voice taking on a hint of playfulness, "you're such a sweet child. I can't help wanting to protect and spoil you~."

"W-What?" Hikigaya flinched, instinctively stepping back. "Please, Mrs. Sawamura, you should respect boundaries. Your husband—"

"My husband?" Sayuri interrupted, her tone carrying a tinge of sadness. "I lied to you earlier. He passed away many years ago."

"...What?" Hikigaya froze, a shiver running down his spine.

Another widow?!

First Yui's mom, then Yukinoshita's mom, and now... Sayuri? Where were all the fathers?!

"Ever since that night..." Sayuri continued, her voice dropping into a sultry tone. "I've dreamed about you, Hikigaya-kun. Dreamed about your gentleness, your kindness..."

"???"

Her words carried the allure of a temptress weaving a spell.

Unlike Yui's mom, who instinctively kept a distance, Sayuri was actively drawing him in!

You're Eriri's mother! What are you doing?!

"I-I've had enough of these jokes!" Hikigaya jumped up, determined to create some distance between himself and Sayuri.

"I only joke with boys I like," Sayuri teased, winking at him with a flirtatious glint in her eyes.

Hikigaya couldn't take it anymore.

At that moment, Eriri emerged from the bathroom, wrapped in a towel.

"Oh, you're finally done!" Hikigaya exclaimed, rushing to her side as if she were his lifeline.

"W-What's gotten into you?!" Eriri recoiled, covering herself instinctively.

"I'll finish the game quickly! Where's your room?"

"Uh, upstairs. Follow me..."

"Great." Hikigaya nodded, eager to escape the madness downstairs.

"...Hey," Eriri hesitated, glancing at him. "My mom didn't give you any trouble, did she?"

"N-No, of course not..."

Watching the two head upstairs, Sayuri smiled to herself.

They seemed like a good match.

As a mother, she genuinely hoped her daughter would step up and win Hikigaya over.

But if she couldn't...

Hmm...

Sayuri's thoughts drifted momentarily. She often drew mother-in-law and son-in-law relationships in her manga. Sometimes she even dreamed about them. But this... this was real life. She needed to remain composed.

Still, if Hikigaya was only Eriri's crush and not her boyfriend...

Sayuri couldn't help but feel a tinge of excitement, recalling her own art. The idea of outshining her daughter brought an odd thrill.

"Ugh, stop overthinking!" she muttered, shaking her head as she headed to the bathroom.

As she washed her legs, Sayuri couldn't help but feel a slight tingle where the boy's lips had brushed her skin.

Instinctively, she touched her thigh, a mischievous thought flitting through her mind.

"Ugh... Last night wasn't enough..."

Her cheeks reddened, and she pressed her legs together.

Well, what could she do? A woman her age had her needs.

---

Meanwhile, Hikigaya spent over an hour seriously helping Eriri clear her game.

Unlike Kasumigaoka, Eriri didn't make things difficult for him. She only asked him to handle the challenging parts.

"I'll take a quick bathroom break," Hikigaya said, standing up. "Try practicing my techniques."

"Alright..." Eriri replied, hesitating before letting him go.

Hikigaya hurried downstairs, wanting to avoid Sayuri at all costs. He needed to finish quickly and leave!

However, he failed to notice that someone was already in the bathroom.

Without thinking, he pushed the door open.

And then...

Hikigaya saw something he would never forget.

Sayuri: "???"

Hikigaya: "???"

After stumbling out of the bathroom, Hikigaya stood there, his face pale, his mind reeling.

Sayuri emerged moments later, slightly flustered but maintaining a composed smile.

"Go ahead and use the bathroom," she said, her tone casual.

"..." Hikigaya froze. There was no way he could step back in there now!

Seeing his dazed expression, Sayuri's cheeks flushed as she coughed lightly and explained, "I'm a woman, after all. I... have certain needs. It's completely normal, you know..."

Trying to ease the awkwardness, Hikigaya forced himself to respond. "Y-Yeah, of course. I mean... I-I probably, uh, take care of it three or four times a week..."

"Three or four times?" Sayuri blinked, surprised. "That's it? A healthy young man like you should be doing it daily. I mean, I need at least six or seven times a week..."

"...What?"

Hikigaya felt a chill run down his spine.

Six or seven times a week?!

As expected of women her age—they truly were as fierce as wolves and tigers!

Also, why are you getting into the details with me?! I was just trying to lighten the mood!
