Yu Dong looked at Xiao Hua who stood with his arms crossed in front of her, she had tried to break the matter to him in a much more gentle way but then Yu Mai rushed ahead and announced that his aunt was getting married.

It was a good news. Indeed it was.

But the bride was unaware about her marriage and the groom was not the one they were hoping for. So of course, Xiao Hua was quite mad after finding out that Yu Tong had been engaged when she was pursuing Lin Hanjing!

Yu Dong watched the mer who was really angry and nursed her forehead. She then said to him, "Then we just have to make sure that he doesn't go back to square one."

"And how are you going to do that?" Chen Mi questioned while watching Xiao Hua breathe fire. He turned to look at his wife who seemed calm despite the mess of a situation they were in and frowned, "I mean, there is no way we can stop this marriage now that everyone in the Murong village knows about it."

"That's right, which is why we need to make it so that either Yu Tong gets what she wants or the Murong family refuses to marry," Yu Dong said to the rest of the family who were acting like headless flies. She raised her head and sighed before saying, "I have always said that instead of dragging the matter on for so long they should have just listened to their hearts."

"You do not understand the matter of heart," Xiao Hua remarked with a tearful gaze causing Yu Dong's expression to turn blank as she said, "Oh if that is the case then shall I break our engagement, you can look for a much better woman."

Xiao Hua: "…."

"Forgive me, my love. You are the one who understands the matter of hearts the best," Xiao Hua said to Yu Dong who only smiled at him.

She then said, "I think that the easiest way to deal with this matter is to get the two of them married. Once they are married then neither Second Madam Yu nor the Murong family will be able to do anything as to whether or not they want to move on with the marriage?" While Ye Liu tilted his head and punched his fist in his palm with an imaginary candle hovering over his head. "You are going to kill him."

"I BEG YOUR PARDON?" Shen Li shrieked as he turned to look at Yu Dong before saying, "You cannot kill him! No matter how clean you are with your hands, you cannot kill an innocent mer!"

Yu Dong: "…" I am glad that my image in your head is that of a hitman.

"Of course, I am not going to kill him," Yu Dong rubbed the space between her eyebrows as she said, "I think that Murong Si is a rather smart mer.

The last time when Ye Liu made chilled lemonade, Shen Li snuck a sip from it and almost got into trouble. It was a good thing that Yu Dong's spiritual energy stabilized the fetuses or else!

He then turned to look at Yu Dong before asking, "You think that Murong Si will let Lin Hanjing take over his position? No matter how smart he is, no mer will be willing to give up his position as the official husband."
