Chapter 1988: Boring Plan.
Then Ghastorix went over to thank the first sage and probably ask him for information about the weirdness of the world ender. But he couldn't move forward because the world froze. The first sage had also frozen. Everything had frozen.
Then the frozen world shattered as the simulation ended.
Legion-6 asked with annoyance, "Why did you do that? You didn't let me finish."
Legion-4 replied, "We didn't let you finish because your plan was boring."
Legion-6 explained, "It was not boring. I put in a lot of thought into it."
"Hear me out. I didn't send CARNAGE directly to the first sage since he is too dangerous. He will know that we are up to something when we send it his way."
"Instead I sent it to Ghastorix, who is weaker and not much of a threat to us. But he is notoriously stubborn. He won't let the first sage go after suspecting that there is something going on with the world ender."
"That way the first sage will be too preoccupied with Ghastorix to deal with us, so we will be able to complete our universal artifact in peace."
When he was done explaining, he asked them, "Isn't my plan great?"

Legion-3 agreed, "Your plan is good, but it is boring. There is no way we gain anything else apart from peace from it. That's just not enough."
Legion-11 interjected, "Number six might have a point here. We already got into trouble before when we used the first sage's world fragment to create the kickstarter. I think we should just cut our losses by severing our contact with the first sage and let things be."
Legion-8 agreed with Legion-11 and added to what he said, "There is indeed no need to escalate matters by pursuing benefits. We will consider going after him after we become world gods ourselves. But right now, we have a lot to lose if we are hell-bent on prioritizing short-term benefits."
Legion-1 disagreed, "Forget escalating matters. I still don't think the plan will work since Ghastorix is too weak to threaten the first sage. We should try someone who can truly give the first sage a run for his money."
Legion-10 agreed. "At the very least, we need a world god that will surely fight the first sage even without the suspicion of the weirdness of the world ender. If we only rely on the suspicion, it might fail us and render our plan useless."
Legion-6 heated what they said and replied, "You have a point about the suspicion. Putting the whole plan on suspicion is inadequate. World gods might not want to fight just because of suspicion. If they don't fight, then the first sage will definitely have time for us, and we won't gain anything."
Legion-7 added, "Besides, you didn't account for the world god watching us. The plan is full of holes."
Legion-5 also added his criticism, "It is one thing for your plan to be full of holes, but you didn't add a contingency plan in case of failure either. I think your plan sucks."
Legion-9 interjected, "Anyways, this is a competition. Let everyone make their proposals, then we vote on it."
Legion-6 snorted and said, "Fine. Let me see what you freeloaders can come up with. I promise to tear it apart just like you did mine."
They are running simulations for their plans. This is something that only Soverick could do before, but now all of them can do it.
They all have a world in their minds and an eye that is reflecting the universe around them. The eye collects data, which the world replicates.
They are using the aspect of Knowledge to use the data they have to run a simulation. They are not using the Supreme laws of other beings in the simulation, though. They have learned their lesson about that.
The first sage won't be able to infiltrate them quietly like he did last time and take over their simulation. But the shifty world god will know about the simulation if they use his Supreme law in it, and he might be able to disrupt it or interfere directly with it.
Unfortunately, the lack of accurate information means that their simulation will be off from reality. Not even the use of the aspect of Knowledge can avoid error and uncertainty.
For example, even without Ghastorix's Supreme law, they know his personality as a stubborn person who doesn't give up easily. It is because a lot of people possess this knowledge of him, so they too have access to it.
The problem with the aspect of Knowledge is that if the knowledge is not common and is a secret, they won't know it. This is a problem that they might have been able to solve with the aspect of Secrets. Unfortunately, they couldn't have more than 12 aspects.
Besides, even if they do have the aspect of Secrets, they wouldn't be able to combine it with the aspect of Knowledge until they become world gods.
That is another weakness of Supreme Origin gods. They can't use more than one aspect for anything. So they won't be able to make full use of the full range of their Supreme law until their existence expands when they become world gods.
They have also other better alternatives to using the Supreme laws of others to improve the accuracy of their simulation. They could use the aspect of Time to acquire information directly from the future, but they are not strong enough to combine it with Knowledge.
The simulation would also be better if they could use the aspect of Probability in combination with the aspect of Knowledge. Unfortunately, they are not world gods yet so they can combine it either.
They need a foundation to allow their existence to unfurl and unfold into all the dimensions that they are capable of. At that point, they will have a law matrix and will be able to create laws from their aspects.
Not even a universal artifact as a foundation would be able to change that. Cosmic energy can't help either.
