Chapter 213: Blood Barbarian Continent - Totem Barbarian Tribe

Green Moon Manor, the residence of Song Yang's fourth uncle.

After expressing his congratulations, Song Chi left the courtyard under the watchful eyes of Song Shishi and his aunt Zhao Lan.

Song Shishi had successfully awakened, so naturally, he came over to congratulate her—a basic courtesy.

In addition, he left behind two Blue Quality shipborne components for Song Shishi.

His not insignificant encounters were now widely known throughout the Pulse, and gifting two Blue components allowed him to avoid seeming stingy without hardly affecting his own finances; he had obtained quite a few White and Blue components in the Ancient Starry Sky Battlefield, so he wasn't lacking any of these to begin with.

...

Two days later, deep within the Dragon Spine Continent Sky, amid a series of intense spatial fluctuations, the Cang Qiong vanished into the mist.

It embarked on a new exploration of the Alien Star Domain.

In the unknown, pitch-black starry sky, there was no need to wait for dozens of minutes to generate a star chart. On the radar display of the Silver III Generation Super-wave Magical Energy Detection Radar, a Starry Sea Floating Land of considerable size suddenly appeared.

"Both the length and the width exceed two million kilometers—it's actually a Level 3 Starry Sea Floating Land..."

Seeing the Level 3 Floating Land displayed on the radar, Song Chi's immediate reaction was not joy but an instinctive frown.

"Multiple components enhanced to lv39 consecutively, so this has indeed affected the overall combat power evaluation of Cang Qiong?"

Before this, the areas where Cang Qiong had been dispatched featured at most Level 2 Starry Sea Floating Lands.

Now, it had been sent to the vicinity of a Level 3 Starry Sea Floating Land, and according to the information displayed by the "Magic Energy Detection" feature, this was not a resource-based Floating Land but a life-form-based one, implying a danger level that could easily be surmised.

This fact alone was enough to signal a departure from previous experiences.

After a brief moment of significance, Song Chi quickly refocused. He had a bit of mental preparation for this and was not too surprised.

Although the combat power standard for the deployment of a Torch Warship in the Alien Star Domain is mostly based on the Torch chassis, that does not mean that other components on a warship do not affect the combat power evaluation standard for deployment at all.

In fact, the number of components, their Quality, and their current Enhancement Level on a Torch Warship all have an influence on the combat power evaluation during deployment, just not as much as the weight of the Torch chassis itself.

Now it appears that, even though Song Chi had continuously restrained from upgrading Cang Qiong's Torch chassis, components like the Neutron Star Core Armor and the Pure Yang Sword Beam Cannon had also elevated the combat power evaluation of Cang Qiong to a new height.

With this thought, Song Chi instinctively became more vigilant.

For a Level 2 Starry Sea Floating Land, Cang Qiong can pretty much dominate as it did with the Blue Blood Floating Continent before—one ship suppressing an entire Floating Land. But for a Level 3 Starry Sea Floating Land, one must proceed with a certain level of reverence.

Such a level of Floating Land might contain elements that could pose a fatal threat to Cang Qiong. One cannot afford to be careless.

As he was contemplating, suddenly a steel arrow, tens of meters long, shot towards him.

Prepared for this, Song Chi maneuvered Cang Qiong into a subtle sidestep, deftly avoiding the steel arrow that seemed quite formidable.

With the Silver III Generation Super-Wave Magic Energy Detection Radar at hand, Song Chi was well aware of the appearance of a peculiar starship in the vicinity.

Hum!

The engine of Cang Qiong activated, swiftly moving forward, while a Sword Light Phantasm quickly coalesced at the bow of the ship.

After closing a small distance, a strangely shaped warship over a kilometer long, looking much like a medieval European sailboat from his previous life, appeared on the screen of Cang Qiong.

Honestly, at first glance, Song Chi felt as if he had slipped into a dream of his former life; the confusion lay in the fact that this oddly-shaped sailboat was cruising straight through the cosmic space, a sight that seemed quite out of place.

Lining the deck of the Starry Sky Warship stood many humanoid figures with wolf heads, each bursting with explosive muscles and towering over five meters in height—hybrid werewolves.

From a distance, these hybrids bore a strong resemblance to the Jackalwolf People, but a closer examination revealed that these were definitely not Jackalwolf People.

Their far more robust physiques than the Jackalwolf People silently conveyed to Song Chi that this was a race with incredibly strong innate physical gifts, decidedly incomparable to the common Jackalwolf People.

Beyond that, another aspect of this Starry Sky Warship notably caught Song Chi's attention.

At the bow of the ship, imposingly stood a giant ship's crossbow with a diameter exceeding one hundred meters. The crossbow frame was covered in mysterious runes, enhancing the range, speed, and might of the crossbow to an exceedingly terrifying degree.

The arrow that had been shot at Cang Qiong from a million kilometers away had most likely been launched by this device.

Thus, Song Chi was quite curious about it.

Of course, he was even more intrigued by how, with an Orange Quality aerial radar, Cang Qiong could perform ultra-long-range positioning, yet how did the enemy ship with its setup manage to detect Cang Qiong from a million kilometers away?

Could it be that this Starry Sky Warship also possessed a technological artifact like an aerial radar? It seemed highly improbable!

Driven by curiosity and without delivering a fatal blow, Song Chi aimed the Pure Yang Sword Beam Cannon at the bow of the enemy ship. After thoroughly destroying the crossbow that acted as the enemy ship's main cannon, Song Chi then proceeded to clear out some of the hybrid werewolves on board.
