Get Ahead of the Fallen Heroine and Make the Bull-Headed Man the Victim

chapter 254

Chapter 254. The little princess who inherited her sister’s will transforms! (Valentina:?)

If the scene Noah had just seen was considered interesting,

then the following scene could be described as absurd.

“Okay, I’ll do my best today too… God, please grant me courage.”

First, of course, there was little Princess Veronica. After finishing her meal, taking a short rest, and then taking a bath,

it wasn’t even 8 PM, and Veronica declared that she was going to rest, telling the maid to come and wake her up in the morning.

But after the maid left, she didn’t actually go to bed early.

Instead, she clasped the jeweled necklace on her chest with both hands, and after uttering what might have been a transformation phrase or just a simple wish,

the little princess in her pajamas transformed into a magical girl… no, to be precise, she should be considered a magical warrior.

After all, the weapon she used wasn’t a magic wand, but a long spear.

Her outfit seemed to reference the black silk short skirt knight attire that Valentina usually favored, the difference being it was more ‘dreamy.’

More cute decorations like bows, and a short skirt with white as the base and blue accents and patterns, also with ruffled edges.

Her legwear was a contrasting combination of black silk thigh-high stockings on the inner side and white knee-high boots on the outer, the shoes were blue high-heeled round-toe small leather boots that were both cute and stylish.

The style was a fusion of gothic lolita, magical girl, and knight princess.

The gem that was originally used for transformation was now embedded above her chest, and her beautiful loose golden hair was now tied into even more eye-catching pigtails.

Perhaps it was a delusion, but after transforming into this form, a few touches of openness had appeared on her still-tender, youthful face.

No, it wasn’t a delusion.

The little princess was excited that her usually introverted and obedient self had become a cool version closer to Valentina.

It was like an ordinary person wearing the same outfit as their idol.

Veronica looked at her transformed self in the mirror, a form that was completely different from her usual self, and revealed a slightly shy but somewhat outgoing smile.

Afterwards, seemingly giving herself a pep talk in front of the mirror, Veronica grabbed her magic spear and flew out of her window.

Yes, just directly flew out.

What she used were a pair of wings like an angel’s… well, not exactly, they just looked that way.

Because the wings weren’t real but formed from magic, some of the divine feel was diminished.

Conversely, the magical sense increased.

But either way, she definitely flew out using those wings.

From a pampered little princess in need of protection, she had transformed into a mysterious, golden-haired, pigtail beauty who would eliminate evil.

“N-now, please don’t do this sort of thing!”

But even though her appearance had changed dramatically, her personality didn’t seem so easy to alter.

Even if she yearned to take a step and make a slight change within herself.

But when Veronica ‘patrolled’ the royal capital at night, encountering a group of menacing thugs planning to brawl, although she descended like an angel from the sky, the words that came out of her mouth were those of a shy and well-mannered child.

This immediately drew rude jeers from the hoodlums, who had been startled by her just moments before.

“You can’t do that, Princess, using those kinds of words will only make them look down on you.”

Noah, who was sitting on the sofa in the dilapidated temple, continued to observe and couldn’t help but shake his head, giving a low evaluation.

It wasn’t that she was truly bad, but even Noah, whose identity was that of an evil god, had made such an assessment. It was obvious what those lowest-level, LV10-ish thugs in the royal capital would think of her.

Some of them even had lewd smirks, saying that if Veronica was willing to ‘play with them,’ they might consider stopping their fighting.

“…Although I knew it already, this Ero-game world is full of real scum, she’s just a kid, okay.”

Noah didn’t feel angry, just a little speechless.

It seemed that Valentina had recently focused all her attention on cleaning up the upper echelons of nobility and had forgotten to deal with these lower levels.

It’s not like you can blame Valentina though, trying to clean up the whole royal capital by herself is just way too hard.

The previous heroine didn’t get rid of the capital’s rot, and new filth is already wriggling in the dark.

So, a second-gen heroine taking up the previous one’s will and showing up? Makes sense, I guess.

It’s just that Valentina isn’t dead, nor is she missing, she’s just alive and well, and then this ‘successor’ thing appears…

It’s kinda hard to swallow, ya know?

“P-please don’t say such nasty things! Hyaaah!”

Oh yeah, there’s another reason Noah isn’t that bothered about it.

The little princess is, after all, the heroine, a transformation-type one too, she couldn’t possibly transform and still lose to these low-life thugs.

As if to prove Noah’s point.

Veronica, face and shoulders flushed from the lewd comments thrown her way, finally attacks.

The magic spear, as tall as herself, suddenly extends from its tip with magic, forming a beam of light that stretches further, and she stabs the most leering of the thugs.

“Guaah!”

The thug then lets out that pathetic noise and just collapses, unconscious on the ground.

From the look of it, no physical damage, seems like its some kind of magic damage that messes with their minds.

Seeing their comrade fall, the other thugs didn’t run, they got fired up and started getting even more violent, spewing insults at the little princess trembling in the air.

Of course, it makes no difference, Veronica just takes them out one by one.

Makes you wonder who the real kid is here.

“That should keep them quiet for a bit…”

After skewering all the thugs, the little princess retracted the light spear, grabbed the center of the staff with both hands, and rested it against her, already decently sized chest, letting out a small sigh of relief.

Her muttering was, of course, heard by Noah watching over her.

“…So, I see, it’s an attack that briefly purifies the negative emotions of criminals, kinda magical girl-ish, huh.”

As a heroine in an eroge, having that kind of ability isn’t that unusual, but if Noah wasn’t mistaken.

This is just a band-aid, after a while these thugs will revert back to their old selves.

Getting them to turn over a new leaf isn’t something that magic alone can solve.

—Of course, there are exceptions like the hypnosis and mind-altering magic Noah knows, or even further, personality-modifying spells.

But in any case, the little princess really does fit the ‘eroge heroine’ bill.

And since this is a sequel to Valentina’s story, then Veronica is likely going to have a bunch of those yellow-haired villains looking to defile her.

What’s weird to Noah is.

Valentina at least had that sweet childhood friend, Clyde, as the ‘victim’.

Who’s there around Veronica that she would be interested in for her ‘victim’?

…It couldn’t possibly be Prince Elliot, could it?

Well, whatever the case, it looks like Noah’s going to have to spend more time with the little princess from now on.

He better hurry up and get the script with the nun over and done with.

PS. This is the third update today, more tomorrow!
