Genshin x Minecraft: Building the Temple of Virtue

Chapter 41: 41: Building a Nuke in MC!

Ganyu still seemed dazed from Ryen suddenly holding her earlier.

Seeing her reaction, Ryen could only chuckle softly and said in a gentle tone, "I'll go back up to get Ningguang and Keqing. You rest here for now."

With that, the familiar flash of the sword's phantom appeared behind him, and in an instant, Ryen was back up in the sky.

Truth be told, he could've easily built a pillar with stone blocks and placed a ladder to climb up and help them down.

But… who would waste such an opportunity?

When you have a chance to hold a girl close, why bother pretending to be a gentleman?

An honest man never hides his inner rascal.

Just like he had with Ganyu, Ryen brought Keqing and Ningguang down one at a time, holding them close as he used the Yama Blade to teleport to the ground.

Once they were safely back on the ground, Ryen put the sword away and began reflecting on the experience.

Ganyu has the best figure!

Ningguang's form is the most elegant and supple!

Keqing's posture is the most flexible and resilient!

Satisfied with his conclusions, Ryen silently committed these sensations to memory.

While Ganyu had been adorably shy, Ningguang and Keqing didn't blush nearly as much.

Even so, neither of them could entirely hide their embarrassment. After all, this was their first time being in such close contact with a man.

Still, rather than dwelling on the awkwardness, their focus quickly shifted elsewhere—to the Yama Blade.

Keqing steadied herself and immediately grabbed Ryen's arm. Her voice was urgent, her eyes blazing with curiosity. "Ryen! That sword! What exactly is that sword?!"

Zhongli and Xiao, having noticed the commotion, paused their work as well. A sword imbued with the power of space was no trivial matter.

Ryen laughed lightly, retrieving the blade and casually swinging it a few times.

"This is a katana called the Yama Blade, a true demon blade. Among all katanas, it's one of the most renowned and powerful."

"Katanas have two core abilities: Dimensional Slash and Phantom Blade Dash."

Zhongli's eyes narrowed thoughtfully as he nodded. "So the spatial power comes from the blade itself…"

"A katana… A demon blade… The Yama Blade…"

Whatever Zhongli was pondering, Ryen couldn't tell. But as for Keqing's fiery gaze? Ryen understood that perfectly.

"Ryen," Keqing began, her voice filled with anticipation, "is this sword exclusively yours?"

A weapon with spatial power—who wouldn't want one?

Ryen smiled and nodded. "That's correct."

Keqing's hopeful expression faltered slightly, disappointment flickering across her face.

But before she could say anything, Ryen added with a knowing grin, "However, the Yama Blade isn't unique. It can be forged. In fact, it can be crafted right here in this world. If you're diligent enough, you could even make four or five of them just to swap around."

He wasn't exaggerating.

Sure, mass-producing Yama Blades wasn't feasible, but forging multiple copies? Absolutely doable.

Defeating the Ender Dragon would grant fragments of a broken Yama Blade, which could then be painstakingly repaired.

Since the Ender Dragon could respawn, the existence of multiple Yama Blades was a given—it was just a matter of patience during the repair process.

And patience was well worth it, given the blade's status as one of the strongest early-game katanas.

Renowned for its Dimensional Slash and Phantom Blade Dash, the Yama Blade could dominate almost any foe.

"A craftable spatial artifact…" Ningguang's expression grew serious as she studied the sword in Ryen's hand.

Her estimation of this world's value skyrocketed once again.

Ryen didn't possess a Vision, yet he could freely wield the Yama Blade. The implications were staggering.

Ningguang wasn't greedy enough to dream of equipping all of Liyue with Yama Blades. But if this was merely one type of katana—and one of the strongest at that—then surely there were other, less powerful versions that could be mass-produced.

The prospect of arming the Qianyan Army with katanas, granting them extraordinary power, was too tantalizing to ignore.

Ningguang's mind raced with the possibilities. She could already envision Liyue's Qianyan Army fully equipped with katanas, each soldier wielding extraordinary power.

Liyue would no longer merely stand among the Seven Nations. Even Celestia itself would be forced to tread carefully before them.

Her gaze softened as she looked at Ryen, a mixture of awe and complexity in her expression. "Ryen…" she murmured, "you've given me yet another monumental surprise."

Ryen chuckled, shaking his head. "I understand what you're imagining, but for now, katanas like the Yama Blade can't be forged yet. That's an objective limitation. However, I estimate it won't be long before it becomes possible."

"Top-tier katanas possess an array of incredible abilities: control over kinetic energy, space manipulation, elemental control, explosions, black holes…" Ryen's tone deepened, his words carrying the weight of legends. "And then, there's the strongest of them all—the one said to cut down any foe with a single strike."

"The Blade of Ultimate Dominion—Eternal End, Infinite Cosmos."

The room fell silent, the weight of his words settling over the group like a shroud. The sheer magnificence of his description left Ningguang, Keqing, and the others wide-eyed with awe.

Satisfied with their reactions, Ryen continued, "But don't get too excited. Obtaining these top-tier katanas is incredibly challenging, and they aren't something just anyone can wield."

"That said, the katanas you're imagining for mass production do exist."

"Puppet, Bamboo Light, Nameless Blade—these are all katanas that can be upgraded simply by defeating monsters. They may not be as overwhelming as the Yama Blade, but they're ideal for large-scale deployment."

"It's a complex system, but once it's activated, I'll let you know."

Ryen sighed softly, turning his gaze to the horizon, where clouds drifted lazily across the sky.

After a moment of silence, his voice grew distant, almost nostalgic. "This world is extraordinary. Its potential is terrifyingly vast. The resources you all covet are merely the most basic, insignificant things here."

"What's truly terrifying… are the mods."

His tone shifted, carrying an almost reverent weight as he spoke.

"Bombs capable of flattening all of Liyue Harbor in an instant—like the Peacekeeper Missile."

"The rulers of the seas—aircraft carriers that dominate the waves."

"Industrialization mods that spark world-changing technological revolutions."

"Modern weaponry mods that level the playing field, making all life equal beneath a torrent of steel and fire."

"Even the so-called strongest swords, those capable of annihilating any foe in one strike, aren't limited to just one or two."

"To my knowledge, there are many others: the Blade of Universal Sovereignty, the Bedrock Sword, the Divine Sword…"

"And the most frightening part? These mods, as far as I know, are limitless in number."

Ryen exhaled, his breath carrying a faint sense of yearning. "My dream… is to unlock countless mods. To build cities of steel across the lands, fleets of aircraft carriers dominating the seas."

"I want to transform this savage, untamed world into the one I've envisioned—a world where magic, martial arts, and technology flourish in harmony."

His voice hardened as he concluded, "So, when I see the entities you consider almighty—the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, Celestia, Archons—I can't help but think they pale in comparison to the power of mods."

"No matter how strong the Sustainer might be, could they withstand the might of a Peacekeeper Missile? Just one strike, and from across the continent, the mushroom cloud would be visible on the horizon."

"That… that is the true terror of this world."

He paused, his gaze sweeping over the group, all of whom wore expressions ranging from disbelief to profound realization.

"Right now, we're merely playing around. The mods haven't been activated, and we haven't even begun proper resource exploration."

"Desert temples, woodland mansions, the Nether, the End… we've barely scratched the surface."

Ryen sighed again, turning back to face them with a faint smile. "So… do you all understand now? Do you see what this world truly represents?"

For a moment, silence reigned. The weight of Ryen's words hung in the air, leaving Ningguang, Keqing, and the others at a loss for how to respond.

When no answer came, Ryen scratched the back of his head awkwardly. With a resigned shrug, he muttered, "How about… I show you some modern firearms instead?"

As he spoke, he casually reached behind him and pulled out an AK-47, the cold gleam of its metal reflecting the light.
