"It seems, the Fallen Empire's guys have already made up their minds to attack Nuoye Star," Lanzhou said tensely.

Bai Zhongqi silently nodded. Nuoye Star was currently the only planet that Iridium Star had isolated, and there were no Knights of Destiny guarding it. There were three fleet admirals as the local military officials, including generals Yu Dangkou and Li Cheng, who had campaigned with him.

Chi Jia and two other knights who led a small fleet that was half-civilian, half-military were now drifting after dodging an attack from another mysterious swarm. However, because the fleet was small and responsive, it wasn't likely to face any significant issues.

Several Knights of Destiny who stayed in the United Empire, representing high-level officers of the Empire's Army, were having a military council with Bai Zhongqi at the Qi Ming Manor.

Zang Xingyan, as a Knight of Destiny with huge influence in the Empire's Army, still looked as lazy as usual. Wearing a white fur coat and with a face as fine as jade, he appeared somewhat sleepy and spoke in a soft voice, "It seems that the Fallen Empire has a technology that upgrades weaker warships to advanced warships directly. This gives Su Shuang and Suo Kexiao fleets far superior to the Nuoye Star garrison. The three fleet garrisons stationed there have not been upgraded to the highest level, still at level 28 warships. If facing an enemy superior in number and technology, I do not see a good outcome."

Bai Zhongqi looked at him, "Your suggestion is to withdraw?"

Zang Xingyan did not answer. Xu Lanzhou interjected, "I do not think withdrawal is a good idea. Su Shuang and Suo Kexiao must have prepared for possible retreat routes of the Nuoye Star garrison. If we rashly leave the defense system of Nuoye Star, I'm afraid our fleet will be hit even harder."

Bai Zhongqi asked Xu Lanzhou, "What do you suggest?"

Xu Lanzhou's tone was firm, as always. "Fight. Iridium Star does not have the habit of fleeing without a fight."

Zang Xingyan snorted with a laugh, appearing particularly graceless. He wrapped himself in his thick white fur coat again, making him look weak as he spoke, "Divine General, can three fleet groups really achieve victory in a fight? Regardless of the outcome, the losses would be enormous. This does not align with our Iridium Star's spirit of fighting necessary and efficient wars."

Xu Lanzhou did not deny Zang Xingyan's view; she said, "The Emerald Sea has opened a space-time corridor for us that connects with the outside universe. The Empire's Army can mobilize en masse, rushing to assist Nuoye Star."

Zang Xingyan smiled, "Are you planning to use a warp jump to get there after leaving our enclosed area? I must say, that is also a method. But who knows if the Fallen Empire hasn't set a trap for us? I believe that mobilizing the resources to support the three fleet groups is a meaningless risk."

The military council soon turned into two groups of people, even more, holding different opinions, arguing with each other. But in front of Bai Zhongqi, the generals still maintained some basic decorum.

Bai Zhongqi rubbed his temples, also somewhat troubled. Both Zang Xingyan and Xu Lanzhou's views were not wrong. Without assistance, Nuoye Star was sure to fall, and the fleet would likely be annihilated. With assistance, Bai Zhongqi couldn't determine whether it was a trap laid by the Galactic Emperor.

Bai Zhongqi stood up, and all the generals immediately stood up too. Even Zang Xingyan, who had been slumped in his seat, had his white fur coat slip off the seat.

Bai Zhongqi motioned with his hand, "You continue discussing; I'm preparing to have a talk with Divine General Su Shuang."

Zero quickly understood what he intended to do, "Is it through the Sound Transmission Stone?"

Bai Zhongqi nodded with a smile.

He had been devoting a significant portion of his energy to researching the Crimson God Stone. The Sound Transmission Stone was a piece of the Crimson God Stone that he had used before and even fabricated into a towering giant to scare others.

Now he was able to control this piece of Crimson God Stone even better.

In the temporary command center of the two Divine Generals at Light Valley Star, the figure of Bai Zhongqi materialized, looking as real as life. Ordinary people could not distinguish it at all.

The two Divine Generals, busy at their desks, sensed something immediately. They came out of their rooms and saw Bai Zhongqi's illusion.

Suo Kexiao, all smiles, said, "It really is full of surprises. Iridium Star Chancellor Bai Zhongqi, you can project your image directly before us, and I don't know how many light-years away. Impressive."

Bai Zhongqi, ever composed, merely said, "Just a little trick. I'm here to talk with you both, not to show off my skills. Since the merger of the galaxies, all civilizations in the New Milky Way Galaxy have been encountering various difficulties and crises, and our Iridium Star United Empire is no exception. I know, the Fallen Empire..."

Su Shuang immediately cut him off, "Galactic Empire."

The corners of Bai Zhongqi's mouth twisted slightly into a smile as he continued, "Fallen Empire..."

"Galactic Empire!" Su Shuang insisted stubbornly.

Suo Kexiao couldn't bear to watch anymore and interjected, "Chancellor, please skip over that term, or else I really don't have the time to watch you two argue like three-year-olds here."

Bai Zhongqi chuckled again and said, "…after appearing, claimed the responsibility of suppressing disasters, and is leading various civilizations to suppress said disasters. However, how do you end up suppressing disasters on top of me?"

Suo Kexiao didn't think Su Shuang was an easy person to communicate with, so he took the lead, "Chancellor, let's be frank. Our previous battle against you was thrilling, and we both lost convincingly. But we also clearly see that your so-called Iridium Star United Empire is actually the Swarm. According to the traits identified by the Galactic Emperor, you are pure breed disasters. Do we even need to argue about this?"

Bai Zhongqi frowned, "I don't deny that I possess the power of the Swarm, but the power of the Swarm is under my control. I trust you can clearly feel that the Iridium Star United Empire is not as brutal and irrational as the Swarm. I am more than happy to foster friendly relations with other willing civilizations, and I would not rashly undertake military action against a civilization without provocation. From any perspective, Iridium Star is a regular interstellar civilization and should not be treated as a disaster."

Suo Kexiao glanced at Su Shuang, seeing his lack of interest in responding, and laughed, "Say what you will, Chancellor. But if you are the Swarm, you are the Swarm; and the Swarm is a disaster. The Galactic Emperor's decree to eliminate you is only natural. In the Milky Way Galaxy, there is no room for disasters and regular civilizations to coexist; it's a zero-sum game. Honestly, I'm somewhat disappointed that you're here for a diplomatic negotiation; can't we just have a nice, clean battle? I have high hopes for your strength. Let us witness your clever techniques once again."
