Chapter 12: Shocking rumor
The breeze of the night was just so chilly. Since Akira left that cafeteria in the evening, he had gone to the school library to have some peaceful and quiet time.
As he remained there, his mind went down memory lane, as he tried to process all that he'd been through, these past few days. Just then, he remembered his roommate Mark, and just when he opened his phone, he realized that Jonathan had called him more than three times.
Sadly, his phone had been in silence this whole time.
'I've been in the library this whole time.' Jonathan texted him, as he fell back to his own pull of thoughts.
Just as he was still thinking, he felt someone tickle him from the back, and it happened to be Jonathan.
"You came so fast!" Akira said with a forced smile.
Jonathan smiled back at him, before speaking.
"Oh! I was just nearby. Let's go to the stadium. There we can watch some of the students playing, and still have our quiet discussion." Jonathan suggested, and Akira nodded almost immediately.
As they walked along the road that led to the stadium, Akira was unusually quiet the whole time.
"What happened? Your mood has been nothing short of bad. What is eating you up?" It wasn't until Jonathan asked these questions that Akira noticed that his mood had been very bad.
Slowly, he breathed in and out, like he was weighing his words before speaking them.
"I'm in a big fix. A very serious one at that. Phew!" Akira sighed with frustration in his voice.
"That's why I'm here. Tell me, what's it?" Jonathan asked with a concerned tone.
As they walked along the pathway that led to the stadium, other students could be seen. Some were in groups, others were alone, while the others were doing sports.
"There's a rumor going round in this school that I fought Dan because of a new guy!" Akira explained with anger laced in his voice.
"Which new guy is that?" Jonathan asked with a puzzled expression.
"You, Jonathan!" Akira said, and they both paused.
This was really becoming more fun than expected.
"So, did you fight with another guy, over me?" Jonathan asked calmly.
"Nope, I didn't. I only..."
"Then, relax." Jonathan began. "This is a school, and it's okay for anyone to spread rumors. So, cheer up, my baby." Jonathan said, and Akira blushed in shock. He didn't expect him to call him his baby.
Finally, they got to the stadium, and some students were also playing ball on the field. They walked over to the pavilion and sat down.
"You have to be confident whenever you're around me. I'm always going to protect you. You hear me?" Jonathan asked him with reassurance, and he nodded.
They both sat in silence for a while, as they watched the students who were playing on the field.
"So, when did you realize you loved boys?" Akira asked him with a warm smile, and Jonathan gasped for a slight second.
The question wasn't expected.
"After I saw you..." Jonathan responded.
There was silence for a while, before the continued.
"That's wild," Akira added.
Aside from the noise and sounds of students on the pitch, they both sat in silence.
"Akira, tell me your story." Jonathan finally broke the silence. This wasn't going to be a very easy one, but Akira didn't waste so much time narrating all that had happened in his life.
From being neglected, to having to battle most life challenges, alone. The stories were great.
"You're missing one part," Jonathan pointed out.
"Which?"
"Tell me how you realized your true self, and also about your past relationships at this school," Jonathan asked.
For a slight second, Akira paused. He needed to recollect his confused brain.
"Since childhood. I've always loved dolls and girlie things, but as I grew older, I had to suppress that part of me, because I wasn't ready for the pain of being able to embrace myself." Akira explained.
It was like a surreal moment, as Akira hadn't ever spoken to anyone about this side of him.
"Wow! You're really strong, champ!" Jonathan complimented him with a very beautiful smile. "So, tell me about your past relationships at this school," he asked.
For a slight second, Akira paused. These questions were actually deep.
"I've never been in a relationship with any student of this school before. As a matter of fact, no one knows this side of me, aside from you. No one!" He explained, but Jonathan gasped in disbelief.
"Damn!" He exclaimed. "I'm surprised that you've never dated anyone, and it's also almost hard to believe that no one knows this side of you. What about your best friend, Bruce?" He asked.
"No one!" Akira responded with a firm gaze, and silence suddenly engulfed the entire atmosphere.
As they both sat there in silence, Akira was deeply drowned in his ocean of thoughts. Somehow, he didn't want to regret ever confiding in this guy.
"Wow! Maybe that's why you're so popular. I mean, everyone will want to have a taste of your sweet body." He was flattered.
"Well, no one does." Akira responded, again.
He was really thinking about how he had gotten that far.
"Is that why your butt hole is so tight? Don't you think it's time for them to open?" Jonathan said with a flirty smile, and they both burst out in a long session of laughter.
"No, please. That cock will tear my butt apart." Akira smiled shyly.
Jonathan winked at Akira in a flirty way.
"Seems you want to suck this cock. It's rock hard, already." He said, and Akira smiled shyly.
Just then, Bruce went into the pavilion with a firm face like he hadn't seen any of them before. He didn't even care or act like they were friends.
"You're needed at the head of the hostel department's office now!" he announced to them.
"Me? Why?" Akira sighed in frustration.
"The both of you! When you get there, you find out!" With that, he walked out of the pavilion.
