Fly to Fall (A Taekook FF)

Taehyung went straight to a coffee shop when they reached Malta as it's almost 3 am, local time. Which means it's 10 am in Korea and he needs to submit a draft of his ongoing novel to his publisher before 11 am. He hasn't slept yet as he worked on his book during the 8 hour flight from Dubai to Malta.

Before disembarking the plane, he told Jin to tell Jungkook where he would be. As for his luggage, he asked Namjoon to just be the one to get it for him as he badly needs to beat his deadline.

As he waited for his order, Taehyung sat down on one of the tables and took his laptop out. He was thankful for the free wifi as all he needed to do now is open his email, attach his draft and send. But, before he could do all that, his name was called in the counter as his order was ready.

He went to get it and was only away from his table for a few seconds. When he went back, his laptop was no longer there.

"Shit!" Taehyung looked around and saw a handful of customers there and no one has left the coffee shop yet. He didn't know what to do as he can't just approach anyone there asking for his laptop.

Taehyung was about to cry of frustration when suddenly, the door to the coffee shop opened and he saw a furious-looking Jungkook who went straight to a very fine-looking, fashionably-dressed young woman. He didn't even spare Taehyung a glance.

He walked closer to them and listened to their conversation.

"I saw what you did. Give me back the laptop or I'll turn you over to airport security." Jungkook said gritting his teeth.

"No english, no english." The woman said.

"Agħtini l-laptop jew inġibek arrestat." Jungkook said in Maltese language.

The woman's face became pale as she slowly opened her bag and took out Taehyung's laptop. Jungkook took it and then he told one of the staff to call airport security.

"I thought you said if I give you back the laptop you won't have me arrested?!" The woman yelled.

"And I thought you couldn't speak english." Jungkook said.

Airport security was quick enough to arrive and took the lady away.

Jungkook walked over to Taehyung who stood frozen on the spot. 

"Here. I forgot to tell you not to leave your belongings unattended as there are larceny cases that happen here." Jungkook said.

"Thank you, Jungkook. You just saved me from losing my publisher and my next novel. I don't have a back-up copy so everything's here." Taehyung said as he quickly went back to his chair, opened the laptop and immediately sent the email. When he saw the sent notification, he breathed a sigh of relief and laid his forehead down on the table.

Jungkook sat across him and grabbed Taehyung's coffee and started drinking.

"Hey, that's mine!" Taehyung said.

"It's mine now. Don't you think I deserve it? I flew you safely here, got your laptop back and as you said saved you from losing your publisher and your new book." Jungkook said.

"Fine. I hate coffee anyway. I just wanted to wake myself up, but the shock of losing my laptop woke me up real good. So, yeah you can have it." Taehyung said.

"So...you're staying with me right?" Jungkook asked, looking unsure.

"I already said yes, remember?" Taehyung said, smiling at the pilot.

"Just making sure." Jungkook said.

"But, we have to wait for Namjoon hyung as he has my luggage." Taehyung said.

"Oh, your luggage is already in the service car." Jungkook said.

"You sly creature. What if I did change my mind?" Taehyung asked with his eyebrows raised.

"Then I'd hold your luggage hostage until you agree to stay with me again." Jungkook said.

"You're incorrigible. I'm already questioning my life choices right now." Taehyung jokingly said making Jungkook laugh.

"Come on, let's go. I'll make sure you won't regret it." Jungkook said as he opened his palm, asking for Taehyung's hand.

Taehyung obliged and held it as he grabbed his bag and stood up, ready to leave.

"Aren't you forgetting anything?" Jungkook asked.

"What?" Taehyung asked as he looked back at the table. His laptop was still there.

"Oops?" Taehyung said.

"See? What will you do without me?" Jungkook said.

"Buy a new laptop, I guess?" Taehyung said making Jungkook shake his head.

Taehyung took his laptop and placed it safely in his bag.

"Are you always this forgetful?" Jungkook asked.

"I'm not. I tend to be careless when I'm distracted." Taehyung said.

"Oh, am I a distraction?" Jungkook asked.

Oh no, Captain Jeon....maybe my heart's destruction? Taehyung mentally said.

"I sure hope not." Taehyung said, but replying to his thoughts.

"Huh?" Jungkook asked, confused.

"Nothing. Come on, I'm so tired and sleepy." Taehyung said as they walked hand-in-hand, exiting the airport.

When they got to the hotel, Taehyung was shocked that Jungkook was staying in a huge suite.

"Whoa. Where do I sign up to be a pilot?" Taehyung said as he looked around the room.

Jungkook chuckled.

"Silly you. I just upgraded my room since there's two of us staying here." Jungkook said.

"I'm good with just two beds and a bath, Cap." Taehyung said.

"No. You deserve more than that. You need to relax, be comfortable and be able to enjoy the view of Malta. Come here, I'll show you."

Jungkook took Taehyung's hand and brought him out of the balcony. The latter looked over the view of the city.

"It's so beautiful." Taehyung said.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was just staring at Taehyung's face.

"It's not polite to stare, Captain Jeon." Taehyung said as he could see Jungkook staring at him from the corner of his eye.

"I can't help it, Taeh. Do you know how beautiful you are?" Jungkook said.

Taehyung looked at him. "No, not really, care to elaborate?"

"Of all the beautiful places I've been to, all the many faces I've seen, I've never been this enchanted by someone as you have captivated me." Jungkook seriously said.

"You barely know me, Jungkook." Taehyung said.

"I know. That's why I'm questioning myself at the moment as I'm wondering why I'm so attracted to someone I barely know. I was never this impulsive; never confident enough to make a conversation with a stranger. But, you...you make me do things that I've never done before and surprisingly, it makes me so happy. I can't explain it." Jungkook sincerely said.

Taehyung smiled at him. "Ditto. You have no idea how much I avoided pilots. It's not that I hated your kind. But, I'm just scared to get close to one." Taehyung said.

"My kind?" Jungkook chuckled. "For me, it's just a profession, Taeh. It doesn't define me. It's a job that I like to do as I like the feeling of flying up in the clouds. It's peaceful and quiet. It helps me clear my mind. Helps me forget about all the negative things happening around me. And then being able to see new places like this is just an added value that I really appreciate and enjoy. Anyway, I hope that I don't scare you away." Jungkook said, showing his vulnerable side.

"Actually, I'm confounded as well as you don't scare me at all. I'm even surprised at myself for saying yes to staying with you." Taehyung said.

"I won't make you regret your decision. I promise." Jungkook said as he pulled Taehyung back inside.

"You can go wash up first and since there's only one bed, you can have it and I'll sleep on the sofa." Jungkook said.

"Jungkook, the bed can fit around five people. It's big enough for the two of us." Taehyung said.

"I don't want to make you uncomfortable, Tae." Jungkook said.

"I won't suggest it if it bothered me. You go ahead and use the bathroom first. I just need to make a call to my publisher." Taehyung said.

"Okay." Jungkook said as he went to his suitcase, grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom.

Taehyung went to the balcony and dialed his publisher's number to confirm if he got the draft and he did. They kept on talking about the book and future schedules that didn't notice that it has been twenty minutes since he called. So, while still on the phone, he went inside and found Jungkook drying his hair, shirtless.

Taehyung stared at Jungkook's back muscles and unconsciously licked his lips.

"Taehyung! Hello? Are you still there?" The publisher asked.

"Quiet, Jimin. I'm currently admiring my view." Taehyung whispered in the call.

"Really? Is Malta that beautiful?" Jimin asked.

"Uhuh." Taehyung mumbled.

"Ugh, I envy you." Jimin said.

"You should. He's quite hot." Taehyung said.

"What?! Oh my god, are you talking about a guy, Kim Taehyung? You just broke up with Eun Woo!" Jimin said.

"And what do you want me to do? Wallow in my pain and sorrow? Sorry, Jimin. I gotta go take my chances and enjoy the moment." Taehyung said before ending the call.

Taehyung went straight to his suitcase and looked for something "appropriate" to wear and then went to the bathroom and fteshened up. When he went out ten minutes later, his hair was still a bit wet and he was wearing a two piece sleepwear — a purple silk top with matching very short pajama shorts.

Jungkook was already in bed wearing a shirt and sweat pants, browsing through his phone when he turned his head to look at Taehyung.

"Fuck." Jungkook said under his breath.

"A-are you wearing that to sleep?" Jungkook stuttered.

"Yeah? Is that a problem?" Taehyung "innocently" asked.

"N-no. No p-problem at all." Jungkook said in between gulps.

"I'll just go dry my hair." Taehyung said and Jungkook just nodded, unable to take his eyes away from the younger's body.

As Taehyung was drying his hair, Jungkook approached him.

"Um, Taeh, I'll just stay in the sofa. Okay?" Jungkook said.

Taehyung turned off the hair dryer and turned to Jungkook.

"Why? We talked about this already." Taehyung said.

"I...um...it's um safer that way." Jungkook said.

"But, I can't really sleep when I'm alone. I need cuddles." Taehyung said with a pout.

"Cuddle with me? I don't think that's a good idea, Taeh." Jungkook said, feeling something twitch under his sweat pants.

"Please?" Taehyung said as he pulled Jungkook towards the bed.

Jungkook laid down on the right side of the bed and Taehyung laid his head on Jungkook's chest.

The older was cursing internally and closed his eyes, trying to think of something to get his mind off his aching boner.

Taehyung could feel the stiffness of Jungkook's body.

"Am I making you feel uncomfortable, Captain Jeon?" Taehyung said in a not-so innocent voice.

"Stop it, Taeh." Jungkook said, biting his lips and keeping his eyes closed.

"Stop what?" Taehyung asked.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung and they ended up staring at each other. The older looked at the younger's lips which didn't go unnoticed. So, Taehyung pushed the teasing even more, licking his lips while Jungkook was still looking at it.

"What do you want, Taehyung?" Jungkook asked in a deep sensual voice.

Taehyung didn't say anything but slowly slid his middle finger downwards from Jungkook's chest down to his hard member.

Jungkook groaned and then held Taehyung's wrist to stop him.

"I didn't invite you here for this, Taeh." Jungkook said.

"I didn't come here for this either, Kook. But, here we are. I'm just simply enjoying the moment." Taehyung said.

And with that, Jungkook lost it. He gently held Taehyung's nape as he pulled him down for a kiss. The kiss wasn't hurried, but soft, making Taehyung's heart melt. 

The latter shifted his position and sat over Jungkook's member as he cupped the pilot's face and taking the kiss to another level. He licked Jungkook's lower lip and the latter welcomed his tongue inside his mouth with his.

As they were kissing, Taehyung started to move his hips, causing their members to rub against each other.

Jungkook groaned and Taehyung moaned softly.

Jungkook took control and flipped Taehyung over as his mouth went to Taehyung's next, leaving open-mouthed kisses.

"God, Taehyung you're so hot." Jungkook said in between kisses. He then went further down on the younger and peppered Taehyung's tummy with kisses.

He then proceeded to the younger's clothed member making Taehyung moan loudly.

Jungkook stopped and looked at Taehyung.

"Shall I continue, Taeh?" Jungkook asked.

"Oh, yes please."

Jungkook was about to pull down Taehyung's shorts but the latter stopped him by sitting down abruptly.

"Wait. There's something you should know first." Taehyung said, nervously.

"Um, don't get weirded out okay...I'm intersex." Taehyung said.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung lovingly. "And that should matter, because?"

"I don't want to scare you away?" Taehyung shyky said.

"Why would that scare me away?" Jungkook asked.

"Because I could also be part of the 1% of the male population you were talking about yesterday." Taehyung said.

Jungkook smiled and went back to Taehyung's side and then captured his lips in another soft kiss. He pulled away after a few seconds.

"Taehyung, listen to me. As I've said earlier, I didn't invite you here to have sex. I don't do one-night stands. I don't have flings. I'm not into that.

I invited you because I wanted to get to know you better. And you know what? Everything that I've gathered about you so far is making me like you even more. And I'm not just talking about your sexy and tempting body.

Now, until you're fully ready and comfortable with me, I'm up for just cuddles tonight. Is that okay with you?" Jungkook said as he pecked a kiss on top of Taehyung's nose.

"Sorry for teasing you." Taehyung said.

"It's okay. I love that side of you too and don't lose that. Just park it for now and then let's see later on how it all pans out. Let's not rush into it, especially since you just came from a long-term relationship. I mean, what if he comes back suddenly?" Jungkook asked.

"Cheating is a deal breaker for me, Jungkook. I can't stay with someone who cheated on me. I wouldn't want it for myself or my future children." Taehyung said.

"I will take note of that, Mr. Kim. Now, let's sleep?" Jungkook said.

Taehyung nodded as he pecked on Jungkook's lips before he buried his face on the pilot's neck.

"God, you smell good." Taehyung said.

"Taehyung." Jungkook said as he chuckled.

"Sorry sorry. Goodnight, Kookie." Taehyung said.

"Kookie, again?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah because I just want to eat you and —"

"Kim Taehyung!" Jungkook said, laughing.

"I'm kidding, I'n kidding. I dunno I just want to call you that." Taehyunh said.

"Sounds good to me. Goodnight, Taeh." Jungkook said before kissing Taehyung's forehead.
