Fate: The Rise of Shikama Douji

Chapter 33: going to hell

Solomon was greatly astonished upon hearing the name Shikama Doji. In Jewish teachings, Shikama Doji is a very special angel who is equal to Michael, the right hand of God. He embodies the miracles of the Almighty God and is known as the Prince of Heaven. Shikama Doji possesses a divine authority, akin to God, and resembles Hillel before his fall when he was the Morning Star. However, the existence of Shikama Doji is very mysterious and enigmatic. Most angels have never seen him even once, except for a select few who have been summoned by Shikama Doji himself.

Solomon had to accept this reality, and thus his training began. Shikama Doji imparted his knowledge to Solomon. Solomon had an absolute talent for magic, as if magic had been created for him. He easily absorbed Shikama Doji's teachings and grew rapidly. Spells that others spent weeks learning, Solomon mastered in just a few minutes.

Solomon also had an extraordinary talent for boxing, but this very fact made Shikama Doji consider him a worthy magician. In Shikama Doji's view, a worthy magician is someone who knows martial arts. A magician who does not know martial arts is not worthy of the title. In addition to magic, Solomon quickly advanced in occult sciences, alchemy, mysticism, and astrology. Shikama Doji also taught him how to be a worthy king.

Soon, Solomon transformed from a child into a young man. A handsome man who radiated the grandeur of a king. After becoming Shikama Doji's disciple, Solomon entered the world of dreams, where he could learn without any distractions. When Shikama Doji intended to take Solomon with him, he entered David's dream and delivered a speech to him, as if it were a divine command from God. David happily accepted this, perhaps due to the hatred he harbored for Solomon. Father and son despised each other.

Solomon quietly walked down a corridor and opened a door. He entered his teacher's laboratory, where Shikama Doji was, as always, busy with experiments. Shikama Doji heard Solomon's footsteps and turned towards him. As usual, his face was adorned with a gentle, confident smile.

"You've come, my dear disciple?" Shikama Doji stared at Solomon with a smile. Solomon slightly bowed in response. Over time, Solomon had come to respect Shikama Doji as his teacher. After witnessing Shikama Doji's absolute knowledge and power, Solomon realized how valuable it was to be his disciple, even if Shikama Doji considered it merely a pastime.

"May I know why you have summoned me, teacher?" Solomon stared at Shikama Doji with respect and curiosity. Usually, everyone was occupied with their own experiments, and Shikama Doji would only give Solomon a few grimoires to study and then test him. Most of the time, he only summoned Solomon during exams, but today he had summoned him without a clear reason, which was rare.

"Hmm, why did I summon you? Because I realized that my dear disciple needs combat experience. I don't want my disciple to be just a theoretical magician. I've always said that a worthy magician must be able to fight in any environment. Get ready, we're going to hell." Shikama Doji approached Solomon and pinned him against the wall. While his hand was on the wall, he brought his face close to Solomon's ear. Anyone else might have been embarrassed by this move, but Solomon remained completely calm.

"As you wish, teacher," Solomon replied with seriousness and composure. Shikama Doji playfully removed his hand and watched as Solomon went to prepare.

Does hell exist? The answer to this question is clear: yes. Hell is a vast realm created by the Almighty God to punish sinners. But for beings like demons, hell is a special domain, especially for Lucifer, whose realm is hell. Shikama Doji, as a Seraph, can easily enter hell.
