Chapter 21: Chapter 21: Future Vision

Breaking into the girls' dormitory at night!

Needless to say, this is an extremely reckless act.

The girls' dormitory of Beauxbaton Academy is a rather dangerous place.

Why is that?

Because ordinary security measures have no effect on Baby Boomers Generation.

If a Baby Boomers Generation individual insists on breaking into the girls' dormitory, as long as they are capable enough, they could leap several floors up to the window and sneak in silently.

To prevent such intrusions, the dormitory has enhanced security. Students can alert the guards with a button or even by shouting. There are also security systems, such as automatic notifications if a window is broken, to detect and deter intruders.

Faced with such security, Erend really didn't want to break in.

"If I get caught, my life in this world will be over, right?"

Erend didn't want his new life to end in such an embarrassing manner.

But... he had no choice.

"It's up to you, Emima."

Standing in a dark corner beneath the dormitory, Erend whispered to the Emima Magic Sword in his hand, activating its engine.

Under Erend's careful suppression, the Clean Light of the Emima Magic Sword didn't glow bright red as usual but only gave a faint shimmer before entering activation mode.

The pure white blade extended from the engine, and Erend controlled it to contract rapidly.

Soon, the Emima Magic Sword shrank to the size of a dagger. If one didn't look closely, they might not even recognize it as a Heavy Colour-style weapon.

If anyone with knowledge saw this, they would be shocked.

The ability to manipulate the Black Furnace Demon Sword with such precision, adjusting it to this level—whether anyone had achieved it before was unclear, but the fact that Erend managed it within just a week was remarkable.

Of course, what he was about to do next was even more challenging.

A faint buzzing sound filled the air.

The now dagger-sized Emima Magic Sword vibrated slightly, releasing heat. With Erend's control, it generated hot wind that swirled around him.

Lifting off the ground, Erend floated.

"Alright."

After confirming that it worked, he boldly took flight.

His destination—the top floor of the girls' dormitory.

According to his knowledge, the person he needed to find lived there.

Gliding upward with the hot wind, Erend reached his target smoothly. If not for taking care to avoid detection, he could have arrived in mere seconds.

"She should be asleep, right?"

Erend peeked through the window and, after confirming the room was empty, raised the dagger-sized Emima Magic Sword and slashed lightly at the glass.

A faint sizzling sound followed, as if something had been burned away.

What had burned away was the Liam Energy in the vicinity.

After the Ten Thousand Responding Mine incident, technology had developed rapidly, relying heavily on Liam Energy.

In other words, if one could tamper with Liam Energy, they could temporarily disable the girls' dormitory's security system.

Fortunately, Erend had such a method.

With the Emima Magic Sword's ability to burn everything, he could even manipulate Liam Energy to enhance his strength—not to mention simply burning it away to disable security.

Thus, Erend easily infiltrated the top floor of the girls' dormitory, riding the hot wind through the window.

The room was spacious and stylish, reminiscent of a luxury hotel suite.

The furnishings and decorations were top-tier. Though it didn't seem like a typical young girl's room, its noble elegance suited its owner perfectly.

"...This is actually a student dormitory? That's insane."

Erend couldn't help but comment.

Of course, such luxurious accommodations weren't for every student at Beauxbaton Academy.

As mentioned before, the higher a student's ranking, the greater their privileges. The top twelve students enjoyed benefits so extravagant they made others envious.

This lavish suite was one such privilege.

Not only this room's owner, but all First Page students had significantly superior living quarters compared to ordinary students.

This got Erend thinking.

"Come to think of it, can I apply for a room change now?"

Having defeated David, Erend was now ranked 13th—meaning he qualified for better accommodations.

Currently, he lived in an ordinary dormitory with a roommate. While not unbearable, it was inconvenient.

The main issue was his roommate's personality—cold and indifferent at first, then suddenly friendly after Erend gained recognition. His gaze lingered too often on Erend's launcher and other belongings, as if calculating their worth.

After Erend's victory over David, his roommate's behavior changed again—overly enthusiastic, trying to ingratiate himself.

Erend remained wary.

This was Festival Academy. All students were competitors. Even those uninterested in the Star Warrior Festival sought success through other means.

In the past, a student had asked for an autograph from a well-known fighter, then auctioned it online for a fortune.

In Festival Academy, famous students were like sports stars—idolized, marketable, and often exploited.

Erend suspected his roommate would steal and sell his belongings or leak personal information to rivals.

That settled it.

"I'm applying for a dorm change tomorrow."

As the 13th ranker, even if he couldn't get a luxury suite, he could at least get a single large room—much safer.

With that decision made, he turned toward another section of the suite.

A separate room—most likely the bedroom.

Moving silently, he approached and carefully pushed open the door.

Perhaps due to the Liam Energy in the area being burned off, the automatic lock was also disabled, allowing him to enter effortlessly.

Then, he saw it.

Under the soft moonlight streaming through the window, a luxurious bed sat in the middle of the room.

A blonde girl lay on the bed, curled up slightly, her delicate face peaceful yet troubled.

Claudia.

But…

"Hmm…"

She let out a faint distressed sound, her expression pained as if trapped in a nightmare. Her brows furrowed, her face pale, her body tensed.

"..."

Erend remained silent, not intending to wake her.

Stepping closer, he scanned her carefully.

After a moment, he reached under the quilt and withdrew two peculiar items.

A pair of engines, inscribed with eerie eye-like patterns.

"Pure Heavy Colour Armament - Pandora."

Erend murmured the name softly.

Pandora.

This was a Pure Heavy Colour weapon as infamous as the Emima Magic Sword.

In some ways, it was even more terrifying.

Its ability—Future Vision.

It allowed its wielder to see the future.
