Lizarius slowly walked away from the crocodile's corpse, stopping to face the multiple glowing eyes in the forest. Packs of wind wolves emerged from the thick trees, their gray fur blending with the shadows. Lizarius saw them and thought, My injuries haven't fully healed yet, but killing a couple of wind wolves is no big deal.

However, more wolves, with striking red fur, emerged from the forest. These were distinctly different from the gray wind wolves. Lizarius looked at them, shocked. Red wolves? I haven't seen them before. He asked the system, "What kind of beast is that?"

The system responded, "Loup enflammé, known as Flaming Wolves. They move in packs and mainly use fire attacks."

Lizarius thought, There are so many of them. Trying to fight them would be foolish. I should probably escape. But I can't just leave without gaining anything, not even an evolution point. That's not going to happen. He continued to think, Then I guess there's only one option. His yellow eyes glowed. I have to kill them all.

A wolf with blue fur, significantly larger than the rest, stepped out from the forest alongside the flaming wolves. Lizarius thought, That one looks different. He asked the system, "What kind of beast is that?"

The system replied, "Blue Flaming Wolf. A stronger version of the Flaming Wolf."

Before Lizarius could process the information, a wind wolf, larger than the others, perhaps their leader, also emerged from the forest. Another one, he thought. Both of them are clearly stronger than the rest. He asked the system, "What are their ranks, and how many are there?"

The system said, "They are all 47 beasts. 20 late-stage Rank 2, 18 low-stage Rank 3, 7 mid-stage Rank 3, and 2 low-stage Rank 4."

Lizarius moved his eyes, looking at the blue Flaming Wolf and the wind wolf leader. Both of them are at the low-stage Rank 4. Fighting with 2 Rank 4s and a bunch of Rank 3s... I'm only a low-stage Rank 4, and my wings are not fully healed, so I can't even fly. And I don't even have any evolution points left. I'm surely going to die if I try to fight this many beasts. The right choice now would be to escape.
