Chapter 207: The Prophecy And The Forest's Monarch
As the head prist for told, a prophecy whispered through the halls of destiny foretelling the rise of a man destined to become a golden dragon. This man, once an ordinary mortal, would be entwined with the fate of a majestic silver dragon, and together, they would unleash chaos upon the sacred lands.
Guided by a mysterious being cloaked in shadows, their actions would be a harbinger of doom for the once-holy dominion. As the shadows tightened their grip, a sudden invasion of demons would rock the foundations of the world.
In the heart of the very church of the Holy Empire, that had fostered faith for centuries, heretic priests would be revealed, conspiring with the demonic forces to bring ruin to the sanctuaries of worship.
Amidst the chaos, a new nation emerged, its power and influence expanding rapidly. The neighboring nations, gripped by fear and paranoia, declared war in a desperate attempt to curb this newfound strength. But to their dismay, they found themselves overthrown, their proud empires crumbling before the might of the enigmatic newcomer.
The ruler of this formidable nation, driven by insatiable ambition, clashed with the Demon King in a battle that echoed through the annals of history. The world trembled as their forces clashed, and the summoned heroes, mere pawns in the cosmic game, struggled to protect the remnants of the once-mighty Holy Empire.
However, their efforts proved futile against the overwhelming might of the Demon King and the new nation's ruler, both hell-bent on world domination.
As the golden dragon soared through the darkened skies, the legend unfolded, leaving an indelible mark on the tapestry of time. The destiny of nations intertwined, and the world stood on the precipice of an uncertain future, shrouded in the chaos birthed by the clash of titans.
_______
It had been several months since the day Akun returned to his people.
It was a bright morning, with the sun's rays fully capturing the forest's beauty as they filtered through the tree leaves.
Laughter and chatter could be heard as the people in the ant city went about their daily lives. The sounds echoed all over, with people working in the fields, opening stalls, the guards going about their daily training and some of them standing on at their posts having a chat, and kids running around having fun. Altogether, it was a truly heartwarming scene to witness.
Hovering over the forest between the dryad tribe, Akun stretched out his hands slowly, which then became encased with the purple hue of his †Authority† as he focused his sights on the trees below him. Suddenly, with a wave of his hand, he parted the trees completely, creating a clear path.
Then, with another wave of his hand, his †Authority† surged forward, and the earth began to rise up and harden, forming a cobblestone path.
Gazing at what he had created, Akun mused inwardly, "After the encounter with that cosmic entity, my †Authority† became far more potent and powerful, and my memory excellent. I can instantly erect any building from any of the games I used to play back on Earth, and I plan to use this power to modernize this forest as its ruler."
Suddenly, a voice called out to him, "My liege, everything and everyone is ready for the meeting. All that is left is your arrival." It was one of the Kingin guards who had survived back in the original timeline, he gazed at Akun as he hoverd in the sky, while he shielded his eyes from the intense sun rays with his right hand.
Because of what Akun achieved, he now had a very deep-rooted sense of respect and loyalty towards him, and his purple eyes carried that intensity. Discover more content at My Virtual Library Empire
"Is that so?" Akun mumbled as he turned around to face the ant city. He instantly propelled himself towards the city with a huge sonic boom, landing before the castle with a soft thud.
As Akun made his way into the castle, the guards stationed at each door bowed as a sign of their respect. Arriving at the massive doors of the meeting room, Akun commanded the evolved ant and Kingin guard standing guard to, "Open the doors," he said with a calm yet commanding tone.
Both of them bowed, then proceeded to push the doors open. Akun stepped in slowly; his presence was instantly noticed, and everyone rose from their seats and bowed. "Welcome, my liege," they said in unison.
Their leaders were all here: the orcs, the bees, the beast folk, Lizard Men, the Sirens, the Veloras, the Archnas, the Fenires, and the dryads. Each of them had two guards by their sides, and they all stood around one very massive round table. Akun then headed over to his seat, which was the biggest in the room, backing the massive window that was in the room. Nadalin and Phenor stood on both sides.
Akun sat down and gazed at the tribe leaders who were still standing; he then told them, "Take your seats."
The tribe leaders bowed again before taking their respected seats.
As the tribe leaders all took their respected seats, Tatilia mused inwardly, "Master has changed a lot since we last met. I'm glad he decided to invite me for this meeting. It warms my heart to know he never hated me for what happened that day."
The orc queen, Grukka, reflected inwardly, "He has really changed a lot since the last time I saw him, so much so that the roles have been reversed, and I am now the one paying my respects to him." Her eyes held a mischievous glint as she gestured inquisitively and mused further, "I should still try and tie the knot with him and my daughter.
He still seems single, and my daughter has remained stubborn all this while and has not taken a partner yet." She glanced at her daughter, who stood at the ends of the large meeting room along with the offspring of all the other tribe leaders, Tatilia excluded.
Azra seemed to be lost in thought as she gazed mindlessly at Akun sitting in his throne, prompting Grukka to muse further, "If that is not love, I don't know what is."
