Emporium of the Psyche

The night falls as the party prepares for the expedition they have been planning for days. Finn wears light protective gear, taking the Cleaver along with him. He wears the Memory Prism on his back. He takes smoke bombs and potions that Oren made as instructed by Elias. Elias has also instructed him to take a dagger for minor tasks and not to use the Cleaver carelessly for the time being. They leave the cabin.

The party walks towards the woods, stealing one last glimpse of Noctaris' beauty before pressing on to the teleportation circle. They are walking slowly while avoiding to keep walking in a line. The night is as dark as it could get. Suddenly, a pack of wolves appears out of nowhere. The party does not falter. Ronen brings out his time and starts enchanting, "Water magic: Bind," The wolves charging towards the party are suddenly bound by ropes of water. The bound wolves start rampaging. Then, Elias comes in and swiftly swings his claymore. The wolves are basically slashed to bits. Blood splattered as the wolves' guts and intensines are torn apart. In that swift slash one had lost its right eye but still got out and started running a mock. It suddenly saw Finn as an easy target and ran towards him. Elias says, "Finish it boy!" Finn brings out the dagger from his waist and stabs the wolve's head and blood gashes from its head. "Nice novice. You seem to have earned some guts." Finn blushes, nervously scratching the back of his head as the group continues.

The party comes across a forest filled with sweet aroma. Nyx asks Elias,"Is this the Sweet Forest?" Elias repliers, "Yes. Leader." Nyx explains, 'This forest might seem pleasant, even alluring. It might feel as though you have entered a sweet haven. But problem is that it's actually a type of carnivore plant that is luring its prey with this sweet aroma. Its name is Petaloom. We shall hunt some of them to collect its essence. Its essence would be quite valuable in our adventure."

Hearing the leader's command everyone gets ready to hunt some of the plants. The plant resembles an overgrown rose, with vibrant crimson petals. The flower's crimson red color is so vibrant that the common prey can't escape its beauty. So, the pitiful prey only keeps admiring its beauty while becoming its nourishment. But inside its petals if you look very closely you can see shiny fangs. Ronan chants, "Fire Magic: Ignite," The chant Ignites a rigorous and fierceflame that burns away the Plant not leaving even its petals. But its hardened, metallic fangs resisted the flames. Oren suddenly becomes quite passionate and explains, "They are wonders of nature. As they grow so do their fangs. The fangs aren't actually teeth. Rather they're Rocks they take inside of them when they sprout. It produces a type of sap that is quite metallic and it coats the rocks throughout its growth period and till its death. The sap is the reason it has such a distinct sweet smell. It's quite a bizzare plant." after the explanation Oren starts collecting the semi burned fangs. He then brings out a mortar and pestle. He pounds the teeth into powder. Then he mixes some alcohol and oil. The powder is now turned into a potion. Oren says, "Guys, this is a highly potent luring potion. You can use it to make traps. But be sure to be careful as it could intoxicate even humans if used correctly." Everyone is quite proud by Oren's competence in alchemy.

The party is still walking. The path seems never ending. They cross the Misty mountains. The mountains are rugged, shrouded in the mist they are named after. Who knows where this mist even came from. The party doesn't stop here as their destination isn't this mountain. Looking to the horizon they feel glimmers of hope while walking towards the front.

It has been one day since they left the guild's base. Throughout the journey Finn is assigned to miscellaneous tasks. He cooks for the party as nobody has any cooking prowess whatsoever. While cooking Elias instructed Finn to use the cleaver to cook their meals. It worked wonders. Somehow, the Cleaver seems to understand Finn's intentions. The plan of cooking and even resonates which while cooking which is quite surpring. Elias also gave Finn another artificial artifact which is a frying pan. It is low grade so it's not a very effective as an artifact to be used by professionals. Nonetheless Finn makes quite tasty meals for the party and earns the crew's respect.

They take breaks from time to time for stamina replenishment. Oren even gives them stamina pills, he made from the wolves' eyeballs the party killed. The wolves were actually Blood Eye Wolves. These wolves hold small amount of blood in their eyes that they take from their prey. Oren thoroughly purified the eyeballs into red orbs. Finn hesitates at first, unsure if he should eat such a vile creature's eye. But as Oren insists he first tries tasting a bit. The pills have no distinct taste, except for a slight sweetness. Finn is growing along with the party. He is learning how professionals do not deny their healer when, he asks for them to consume the medicine. The second day also passes. The nightfalls. This time the northern star flickers brightly as if it calls the party towards it. The party marches under the darkness of the night thinking they shall reach the abandoned building.

Close to dawn, the party finally finds the abandoned building. It looks quite old, ancient even as Nyx has mentioned. This marks the party's two days of journey towards the building. Under Nyx's leadership the party enters the building slowly. They find a room filled with runes that are not of this world. As the whole party enters, the runes suddenly begin to glow. Ronan says, "The runes are instructing us enchant Transireh (Pass)." Ronan enchants the rune and the room starts to shine as bright as day. The party teleports to the labyrinth's first floor. As they look around they understand it is a hidden room that has connection to the outer world. Finn suddenly hears a voice.
