Within the Yahweh Familia home, Mika devoured the meal Ayu had prepared.
After unleashing [Heavenly Fire: Calamity Annihilation], his body was extremely weak.
Even with Airmid's Healing Magic, he needed to replenish his energy through food. Therefore, after transforming Alfia into a Nen Beast, he had Ayu prepare a feast.
Yahweh and Alfia sat beside him, savoring the delicious food with elegant grace, a stark contrast to Mika's ravenous eating.
"This meal is exquisite. Even though I no longer require sustenance, I can't resist its allure," Alfia commented, savoring the flavors.
Yahweh nodded in agreement.
Just then, two sets of familiar footsteps approached.
"It seems Mellie and Airmid are back," Mika said.
As if on cue, they entered the living room.
"Mika, you're awake!" Airmid exclaimed, seeing him eating.
"Yes, I'm perfectly fine now. You two must be starving after a long night. Come eat!" He gestured for them to join him.
They sat down but didn't immediately begin eating. Their gazes were fixed on Alfia.
"It seems you succeeded," Mellie said with a smile, then turned to Alfia. "I'm Mellie Ambrosia, Mika's companion. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"And I'm Airmid Teasanare, also Mika's companion. It's nice to meet you as well," Airmid added.
Neither of them treated Alfia as Mika's Nen beast.
After all, she was a companion of his parents and, in a way, their family, especially now that they were married to Mika.
Alfia smiled. She, too, considered Mika a junior and valued his companions, especially given their impressive talent. Even within the Hera Familia, they would have been considered among the most promising.
"I believe introductions are unnecessary. I imagine you've studied my file extensively in preparation for our—encounter," she said with a self-deprecating chuckle.
Mellie looked away, flustered. She had not only studied Alfia's file but had even devised a plan to defeat her by attrition. Meeting her in person now was—awkward.
"So, Mika," she said, quickly changing the subject, "You mentioned transforming Alfia into a Nen beast to enhance your strength. Why not Zald as well? Is it because Alfia is a beautiful woman, while Zald is—well, not?"
"...."
Mika choked on his food, spraying rice across the table. He coughed, grabbing a glass of water and gulping it down before glaring at Mellie.
He found himself the center of attention, everyone looking at him, except Ayu, who was sweeping the floor.
"It's not like that!" he protested, flustered by their stares. "It has nothing to do with appearances!"
"It's simply because I wouldn't dare tamper with another adventurer's soul. The only reason I could do so with Alfia was because I'm—well, partially a member of the Hera Familia."
"Huh? Why is that?" Mellie asked, intrigued. This was new information. Even Alfia and Airmid looked at him curiously.
Relieved that their gazes were no longer filled with suspicion, Mika explained, "It's because of Falna. Once an adventurer receives Falna and joins a Familia, they form a connection with their God. From that point on, our souls, as children of the gods, return to Heaven, to our god's divine realm, after we die. Therefore, tampering with souls in the lower world is taboo."
"Our souls are protected by the gods. Zald's soul has likely already returned to Zeus's Divine Realm. I wouldn't dare touch another adventurer's soul, except for my Familia members and—well, those from the Hera Familia."
"Of course, even manipulating Alfia's soul had to be for a positive purpose. Yahweh-sama explained all this to me when I first had the idea of using [Angel's Rebirth] to transform her into a Nen beast."
"I see," Mellie and Airmid said, finally understanding.
"Perhaps I should visit Hera-sama as well," Alfia chuckled.
"If you could, that would be wonderful," Mika said earnestly, clasping his hands together.
Mellie, Airmid, and Yahweh laughed at his sudden display of piety, while Alfia, after a brief chuckle, fell into thought.
Speaking of returning, she suddenly remembered a certain boy—Bell Cranel, her sister's child.
Zald had asked her if she wanted to see him before they embarked on their mission. She had refused.
She thought it would be better for him if they never met if she simply disappeared from his life. Besides, she had been afraid, afraid that seeing him would make it harder to accept her fate. She had feared she might stay.
But now, she was already dead, And according to Mika, normal people couldn't even see her.
"In that case—perhaps I should visit him," she thought.
...
After a period of introductions and playful banter, they enjoyed the meal Ayu had prepared.
"So what happened after I collapsed?" Mika asked.
"Ottar defeated Zald. Then, under Finn's command, the adventurers launched a counteroffensive against the dark faction," Mellie explained.
"And Riveria and her team successfully dealt with the monster in the dungeon. The Evil God Erebus, the mastermind behind it all, was captured and returned to Heaven by Astraea from atop Babel Tower."
"I see." Mika wasn't surprised by Erebus's scheme, though he disagreed with his methods. He believed Orario would have been fine even without his intervention.
After all, they had the Yahweh Familia. They had him.
"We will slay the Black Dragon," he thought, looking at his companions.
…
After dinner came the moment they had all been waiting for: the Falna Update.
Under Yahweh's guidance, Mika underwent the ceremony, ascending to the Hero Realm—Level 6.
As he reached this new level, his consciousness drifted towards the familiar starry expanse within his mind.
A message appeared.
"I see—" He processed the information. With his increased power, his control over this inner world had expanded. He could now open Passages to other worlds, not just for himself, but for his companions as well, as long as they weren't stronger than him.
This meant he could send Airmid and Mellie to a different world while he explored another.
However, he wasn't particularly impressed by this new ability. It seemed—situational.
He had also gained another benefit: they would now receive appropriate identities in each new world they visited.
This was far more useful than the previous ability. Relying on Mellie's illusions to manipulate identities was risky, creating potential complications.
There was also another revelation, a double-edged sword: the power levels of the worlds he could access would increase significantly after reaching Level 6. He would likely encounter worlds with Powerful Beings.
"It seems our future journeys won't be as easy as before," he thought.
…
That night, Airmid and Mellie also leveled up, reaching Level 5. Now, all three members of the Yahweh Familia were first-tier adventurers.
After their level-ups, Mika shared the information he had received with them, and they discussed the implications at length, concluding that the benefits outweighed the risks.
The first two abilities were undoubtedly advantageous, And the increased difficulty of future worlds, while concerning, was also an opportunity for growth.
They needed powerful opponents to further enhance their Falna. While their journeys might be more dangerous, the rewards would be greater.
"Although I didn't gain any new Magic or Skills, my [Heavenly Fire: Calamity Annihilation] has evolved," Mika announced.
"Oh? How so?" Mellie asked.
"The third stage no longer burns me completely. I can now control its intensity and stop it at will. I won't have to spend half a month recovering after a single use." He grinned. His signature Magic would now be far more versatile.

He had full mastery over its three stages:
The 1st stage—Flame Manipulation.
The 2nd stage—Concentrated Fire Blasts.
And 3rd stage—The Ultimate Annihilation Attack.

"So, there are no longer any limitations on your Calamity Annihilation?" Mellie asked, surprised. Without the risk of self-immolation, his Magic would be even more formidable. Normal magic had limits, its power increasing with the user's level.
Mika's second-stage Calamity Annihilation, Inferno Blaze, was a prime example.
However, the fully unleashed Calamity Annihilation was different. Its power was limitless, constrained only by the user's available energy. It was truly an ultimate attack.
"Exactly!" Mika couldn't contain his grin. Airmid, Mellie, and Yahweh were also delighted. After all, Mika's strength was their strength.
…
"Cheers!" Glasses clinked together as the adventurers celebrated their victory at the Ganesha Familia's home.
Thanks to Mika's warning, Finn had been able to organize the evacuation of civilians, minimizing casualties.
Combined with Airmid's efforts, the losses had been primarily material. If there had been a significant loss of life, this celebration would have been a somber memorial.
Almost every Familia was present, the Ganesha Familia home filled with tables and chairs, the atmosphere lively and joyous.
Mika and his companions sat with the elite members of the various Familias: the Loki Familia's trio, the Freya Familia's quartet, the four members of the Astraea Familia, and the Ganesha Familia.
Even the usually aloof Ottar and Allen joined in the toast, raising their glasses with the others.
"That was a tough battle."
"But We Won!!"
"Indeed, a glorious victory!" Laughter and cheerful chatter filled the air. Mika, looking at the smiling faces around him, felt a sense of satisfaction. He enjoyed this camaraderie.
