DxD: Wrong Way

Aoki's face darkened as he quickly bid farewell to Miyajima Sosuke.

With the constant threat posed by Yellow-Hair, he had almost forgotten that the suffering master template could also lead to attacks on the women around him.

Initially, Aoki hadn't been overly anxious

Although Miyajima Sakura had been hypnotized, there was no real affection between them. After dealing with the minotaur, they had managed to avoid any grudges.

However, now that the Takamine sisters might be facing threats, he had no choice but to take this matter seriously.

After rushing to Gosha Private Academy, Aoki called Ayame Takamine.

Ayame, who was about to have lunch with her friends, felt a surge of excitement upon receiving his call.

This was the first time Aoki had taken the initiative to contact her while at school.

"Ao-chan~ What's wrong? Have you missed your sister already?" she teased.

Aoki wasn't in the mood for playful banter and didn't correct her use of "sister."

"Ayame-nee, I'm at the gate of your school now. Come out and pick me up; I have something important to discuss."

He spoke concisely before hanging up the phone.

As he looked at the academy in front of him, he tried hard to recall details from the original Saimin Seishidou series.

Unlike Kuoh Academy, which favored European architectural styles, Gosha Academy was a typical Japanese school.

Unfortunately, he hadn't provided any introduction to this academy

Especially not regarding hypnosis techniques that were supposed to be easy to use.

As long as a female character was sentimental enough, nothing would be problematic.

While waiting for Takamine Ayame to arrive, Aoki couldn't think of any useful information beyond remembering the name of an overweight otaku with glasses and the names of some heroines.

Yet because of fate, he would inevitably find himself at odds with both Yellow-Hair and Tauren.

Living peacefully alongside them was impossible.

To be frank, even without the suffering master template influencing him, Aoki wouldn't want anything to do with those guys.

Even if it meant being associated with Yellow-Hair, his feelings were purely platonic.

Ignoring Ayame Takamine's suggestion to visit the infirmary, Aoki carefully observed Gosha Academy

Especially where everything had begun in the indoor stadium.

There were no valuable clues or signs of anything supernatural anywhere.

As he breathed in the crisp air outside Gosha Academy's gates, Aoki resolved that when time allowed him opportunities for exploration again

He would visit other schools too

Not just high schools but universities as well!

Perhaps unexpected surprises awaited him there.

Of course, there were dangers as well.

Aoki walked around the school, but it was impossible to inspect every corner.

He hadn't seen the man with the hypnotic glasses yet, but that didn't mean he wasn't at Gosha Academy.

Perhaps he was on leave today or hiding in a secluded spot, doing something unsavory.

Aoki sighed, realizing that if he had a talent or detection skill, many areas could be improved upon.

He set aside his unrealistic thoughts and turned to Takamine Ayame.

"Sister Ayame, is there someone named Hajime Tanaka at your school?"

"I've never heard of him," Takamine Ayame replied, shaking her head.

With so many students at the academy, it was impossible for her to know everyone, even though she was quite popular herself.

The Takamine sisters were well-known at Gosha Academy due to their beauty.

"The name sounds like a boy's," she added.

"Ao-chan, do you have something to do with him?"

Looking into Takamine Ayame's big innocent eyes, Aoki contemplated whether to tell her the truth but ultimately decided against it for now.

One reason was that he didn't know how to explain it; even if he did tell her, it wouldn't change anything and might only raise unnecessary alarm.

If Hajime Tanaka's hypnosis ability had flaws similar to some kind of rule-based power, Aoki's current mental strength might not be enough to resist it.

Alerting the enemy could lead them to trap him.

"Nothing important; just pretend you haven't heard of him," Aoki said.

"Oh~ Forget it if you don't want to say!"

Takamine Ayame replied playfully.

Aoki spoke seriously, "Forget about this matter. If you ask around too much, you'll get yourself into trouble."

"Hehe, what kind of trouble?" she teased, blinking her beautiful eyes innocently.

"If it's in bed, I don't mind at all."

"I'm not joking!"

Aoki scolded in a low voice.

"Don't make me take you home and lock you in a small dark room right now."

Takamine Ayame looked confused.

"Is there really a small dark room at home?"

"Not right now," Aoki replied sternly.

"But if you keep talking nonsense, there might be one soon."

Sensing his displeasure, Takamine Ayame stopped joking around.

"Okay, I understand! But it's fine for me to keep an eye on things secretly. I'll let you know if there's any news."

"That's for the best," Aoki agreed.

"Just pretend you don't know anything else. The most important thing is not to leak any information."

"Okay, okay~ I know I was wrong! Master, don't be angry!"

Takamine Ayame said sweetly as she hugged his arm and began acting flirtatiously.

Seeing that no one was around, she boldly kissed him on the mouth but failed in her attempt to deepen the kiss.

"Alright, go back to class," Aoki said firmly.

He hadn't forgotten his original purpose for being here; despite being present at Gosha Academy now, he needed to meet Miyajima Sakura.

From Miyajima Sosuke's few words earlier, it seemed that Miyajima Sakura had been paying attention to him

Something that surprised Aoki since they had little in common aside from their brief encounter at the kendo club.

While shopping earlier that day, Aoki had spotted Miyajima Sakura practicing at the kendo club from a distance during lunch break

He wondered if she was still there as time was running out.

He finally stepped inside.

Miyajima Sakura had just finished practicing and was surrounded by girls explaining something animatedly while boys sat nearby in admiration.

One handsome brown-haired boy blushed deeply as he gazed at her with evident affection.

It struck Aoki that many heroines from Saimin Seishidou seemed to have boyfriends
