— World: Elicia
Duchy of Brunhild —
"Everything is pretty calm… even the atmosphere feels perfectly normal~," Sylphide commented with a relaxed smile, walking a few steps ahead of Aiden.
Aiden observed her out of the corner of his eye.
Sylphide was in her [Balance Breaker] form, so instead of being a small wind fairy, she now had a 'human' figure.
She was 169 cm tall and had curves in all the right places, although her chest remained modest even in this form.
Her transparent, delicate fairy wings shimmered on her back.
Her long blonde hair cascaded down to her waist, and her emerald-green eyes seemed to glow.
Saying she looked human wasn't entirely correct, as her appearance resembled the fairies of this world.
Moreover, her beauty attracted many gazes.
Although, of course, Aiden didn't go unnoticed either: he was handsome, with a charming air that made some recognize him, but by the time they recalled who he was, he had already vanished from their sight.
Even so, Sylphide stood out for her charm.
'Though her chest is rather modest… she has quite attractive hips,' Aiden thought as he watched her walk.
Just then, Sylphide turned around with a frown.
"You were thinking something indecent about me, weren't you, Aiden-chan~?" Sylphide remarked, gently tugging his cheek with a playful smile.
Sylphide had perfectly noticed where his eyes had been directed.
She didn't mind too much because it was Aiden, but still, she wasn't going to let it slide.
"It's not that…" Aiden replied, carefully brushing her hand aside, though Sylphide's eyes remained intensely fixed on him.
"I was just thinking about how beautiful you are," he added, trying to smile convincingly.
"Hmm~, of course, that's obvious. After all, this is my original form~," Sylphide commented as they resumed walking.
Then, she gave him a teasing glance.
"Though I couldn't help but notice that cheeky look you gave my chest."
"…I was just thinking you're very beautiful," Aiden repeated, in a tone so mechanical it sounded robotic.
Sylphide sighed and rolled her eyes, prompting him to quickly change the subject.
"Anyway, about what you said regarding the Duchy of Brunhild being 'calm' and the mood being 'normal,' it makes sense. Lately, certain 'problems' have arisen, and if you were an ordinary citizen who suddenly heard that crystal bugs were invading the world, of course, morale would plummet."
Imagine being an average person and discovering that a VERY hostile race wants to end you just because.
Obviously, your spirits wouldn't be the best.
That's exactly what's happening with most people in Brunhild lately, although the rest of the world isn't much different.
The invasion of the Phrase (which Aiden and the girls managed to contain) spread to several regions of the planet until they and Aiden's clones were able to drive the Phrase into the desert.
Furthermore, Brunhild's citizens have seen how leaders from various kingdoms arrive at the duchy to discuss matters with Touya.
He is the only one (besides Aiden and his group) who has the means to face this threat with his [Frame Gear].
The meetings revolve around how to combat the invaders.
"The Phrase, huh…" Sylphide murmured in a thoughtful tone.
"Anyway, things will calm down soon. Touya should make an announcement to reassure the people. For now, let's head to the others so you can see them," Aiden said, spinning on his heel and starting to walk toward the palace, heading for the training grounds.
There, Mukuro, Tohka, and the others, along with Touya, were waiting.

At the palace's training grounds, the place where Touya's knightly order used to practice, only Aiden, Sylphide, Salamander, Aries Prote, Leo Pemptos, Aiden's girls, Touya, and his fiancées were now present.
"Ah, Yoshino-chan, you're as adorable as ever~!" Sylphide exclaimed enthusiastically, catching her in a warm, enveloping hug.
With a radiant smile, she twirled in the air with her, almost ethereally light, as if she truly were a fairy dancing in a dream.
"Sylphide-chan is as lively as ever~," Yoshinon commented in her usual playful and teasing tone, moving slightly in Yoshino's left hand.
Her bunny ears twitched with the movement.
"It's good to see you, Sylphide-san," Yoshino said in her soft, delicate voice, offering a shy yet warm smile.
She knew Aiden had spent days locked away building a [Sacred Gear] core for Sylphide.
Seeing her now filled her with happiness because, despite Sylphide's energetic personality, to Yoshino, she felt like an older sister.
Of course, an older sister over a million years old…
While Sylphide spun in the air, embracing Yoshino, Aiden watched them from the side, accompanied by Mukuro, Kurumi, and Nia.
"I'm glad that Danna-sama brought her out of Étheris," commented Kurumi with her characteristic elegance, letting out a soft chuckle.
"After all, she can feel lonely easily… even though she hides it behind a charming smile," she added, her reflective tone accompanied by the mysterious glow of her golden and crimson eyes.
"Unn," Mukuro nodded calmly, expressing her agreement with a slight movement of her head.
Next to her, Nia also nodded silently, sharing the same sentiment without the need for words.
Aiden shifted his gaze toward the training field, where Tohka, Yuzuru, and Kaguya were teaching martial arts and Ki manipulation to Elze, Yae, and Hildegard, three of Touya's fiancées.
The latter had taken an interest in this power system after Aiden introduced it to Touya and soon began practicing it.
Aiden noticed that the three were talented in this area.
However, the teaching dynamic was peculiar: Tohka, with her impulsive nature, made everything seem too easy, while Kaguya, in her grandiose style, spoke so deliriously that no one could understand her.
This only left her embarrassed in the end.
Fortunately, Yuzuru managed to explain things correctly.
Aiden chuckled to himself as he watched the scene.
Over time, Touya's fiancées became friends with Aiden's girls, and both Tohka and the others shared knowledge and skills with them.
The day passed peacefully, with Aiden discussing various topics with Touya.
When the moon began to rise in the sky, Aiden decided it was time to leave.
After a brief farewell, he, his girls, Sylphide, Salamander, Aries Prote, and Leo Pemptos returned to "Draconic Deus."
There were no dramas or tears, as Aiden could return whenever he wanted.
He even had plans to build a dimensional gate so Leen could return to her world whenever she wished.
Finally, they crossed the portal created by his [Kaleidoscope] magic and disappeared into the night.

Two days later.
Leen, who had lived her entire life in a medieval world, was beginning to adapt (more or less) to the modern world.
She was absolutely fascinated by everything she saw, so much so that she spent the whole day sightseeing.
Of course, Aiden had to accompany her, though he didn't complain; after all, it was like a date… or something similar.
As for the spirits Aiden had brought from Étheris, Sylphide had become an internet addict, spending hours online without rest.
Meanwhile, Salamander, Leo Pemptos, and Aries Prote found ways to entertain themselves.
Whether they were facing off in the training field of the Gardens of Babylon or just wasting time, they were always busy with something.
As for Aiden, apart from working on the spell to split Yoshino and Yoshinon's soul into two, he didn't have much else to do.
Sometimes he sat down to watch anime with Kotori or Natsumi or simply spent time with the other girls.
He also often chatted with Ravel, who occasionally visited him under the pretext of discussing trade deals… or something like that.
Either way, his life was fairly peaceful.
Sure, there was the rumor that Kokabiel was planning to start a war or something like that, but that wasn't his problem—at least not yet.
Regarding the conflict between the Tamamo-No-Mae cult, the Yamata-No-Orochi cult, and the Youkai faction, Aiden was willing to intervene if necessary.
Mainly because he knew Yoshino would want to help her friend Kunou, but beyond that, nothing particularly interesting had happened lately.
And he hoped things would stay that way.
/Flash!/
Suddenly, a bright light filled his room, interrupting his thoughts.
Moments later, the light faded, revealing a little girl with black eyes, standing barefoot on his bed.
Aiden stared at her in silence for a moment, processing what had just happened.
The girl watched him expressionlessly.
"…"
It was Ophis.
Aiden pursed his lips, resigned to see how this loli ignored his home's defenses once again as if they were mere decorations.
How many times had this happened now?
He didn't even want to count.
But he knew perfectly well why this "child" had appeared again: she came to play with Kotori, Natsumi, Yoshino, and Yoshinon, or simply to eat.
Aiden couldn't help but wonder how it was possible that the "final boss" and leader of a terrorist organization that had caused and would cause so many problems in the future could be so… so… Ophis.
Sighing, Aiden did nothing but lift her with telekinesis.
The girl, still standing barefoot on his bed, was gently placed on his lap.
Ophis didn't resist or make any gesture; she didn't believe Aiden intended to attack her, and even if he did, she doubted he could hurt her.
Once settled, Aiden took out some sweets from his [Gate of Babylon] and began stroking her hair as he gave them to her.
'It's like a teddy bear,' he thought, amused by the scene in front of him.
Shortly after, the door to the room opened, and Leen appeared holding Paula, the teddy bear, in her arms.
She stopped upon noticing Ophis sitting quietly on Aiden's lap, eating sweets, and blinked, unsure how to react.
"Who is…?" Leen asked, tilting her head slightly with curiosity, while her eyes shone with a hint of confusion.
She hadn't been present during Ophis's previous visits, so she had no idea who the little girl was.
"Just treat her as a child who comes to get sweets and play occasionally," Aiden replied calmly, placing another sweet into Ophis's mouth.
"She's cute," Leen commented as she approached with a light smile.
Without thinking twice, she began pulling at Ophis's cheeks gently, moved by curiosity.
Noticing her pointed ears, she knew Ophis wasn't human, though she had no idea what she could be.
The only certainty was that she was adorable.
Ophis, on her part, didn't react.
She kept eating in silence, as if there was nothing strange about having her cheeks stretched.
"Unn," Aiden nodded, looking at Leen, who continued observing Ophis as if she were a rare specimen.
Then he added with a calm smile:
"Oh, by the way, she's also one of the strongest beings in the world. So, congratulations, Leen. You've got quite the nerve treating her like a child."
Leen looked at him, processing what he had just said.
Immediately, she recalled the powerful figures she had read about in the past two days since arriving in this world.
Her love for history had led her to research a great deal of mythology, and Aiden's words gave her a more-than-clear hint about who this "child" was.
"Ouroboros…" Leen murmured in awe, turning her gaze back to Ophis.
"Is this adorable girl really the feared Infinite Dragon?"
"Unn," Ophis confirmed with her typical tranquility.
She then tilted her head slightly, opened her mouth, and said a simple "Ahh," as if it were the most natural thing, remaining still as she patiently waited for Aiden to give her more sweets.
"Here, here, take…" Aiden sighed in resignation, extending his hand to give Ophis more sweets.
She kept eating nonstop, as if there were no end, something he thought made her even worse than Tohka in this regard.
In the end, when Ophis seemed to be "satisfied," Aiden stopped giving her sweets and leaned back a little.
Leen, on her part, sat beside him on the bed and placed Paula, her teddy bear, on the floor.
/Greet!/
Paula raised her little paw to greet Ophis enthusiastically.
Ophis tilted her head, staring at her intently.
"Strange… you're not alive… you don't have a soul… but you're conscious… how is that possible?" Ophis said in her characteristic monotone, looking at the bear with an almost childlike curiosity.
To Ophis, it was incomprehensible how something could be conscious without possessing a soul.
It was as if a rock by the side of the road suddenly knew it was a rock.
/Protest!/
Paula reacted indignantly to Ophis's words, waving her arms furiously and pointing at her as if she were ready to attack.
Aiden looked at Paula and couldn't help but think that the little plush bear had more guts than it seemed.
Paula was an inanimate object that Leen and Aiden had created using null magic [Program], which allowed specific functions to be assigned to objects.
For example, a chair could be programmed to move a meter forward when someone sat on it, or a door to open when someone was three meters away.
Paula had been programmed with thousands of lines of commands, and somehow, she ended up "alive" or, at least, self-aware.
Although she had no soul, Aiden never quite understood how it had happened exactly.
Without dwelling on it too much, Aiden decided to intervene.
Without warning, he picked up Ophis, opened a portal with his magic, and, with a gentle push, sent her through it.
Ophis blinked in confusion and, when she realized it, she was sitting on the living room sofa next to Kotori, who didn't even flinch at her sudden appearance.
Immediately after, Aiden repeated the process with Paula, sending her through the portal as well, while Leen watched him silently.
Finally, Aiden stood up from the bed and gestured to Leen.
"Come on, follow me," he said calmly, as she followed him curiously.

A/N:
Why is it that I consider a being that was once an old man and is now a cute loli to be so huggable…?
