Dragon Ball Simulator

Chapter 5: Chapter 5

[Choose one reward from the following options:

Full-Powered Super Saiyan

Super Saiyan

Void Survival

Detection Eye

Talent Enhancement

Battle Power 1100

Future Memories]

After reading the simulation results and the seven rewards, Saigo was overjoyed.

"Whoa! This simulation is insane!"

"These rewards are god-tier! Except for the sixth and seventh ones, the rest are all epic-level, aren't they?!"

"Why is the system being so generous this time? Could it be... there's some impending crisis I can't handle?"

After thinking for a while, Saigo couldn't figure out what kind of critical danger might be approaching—besides Frieza, that wretch!

"Maybe it's based on my current strength? Facing Frieza, whose power level reaches 120 million, is indeed a life-threatening crisis!"

Thinking this way, Saigo found it very likely to be the case.

In previous simulations, Planet Vegeta would remain safe until August, indicating Frieza wouldn't destroy it between May and July.

So, there was plenty of time—Saigo wasn't in a rush at all.

With the destruction of Planet Vegeta still so far away, achieving the Super Saiyan transformation before then shouldn't be a problem at all!

Moreover, Saigo knew from past simulations that Tarble wouldn't be immediately exiled after the two-month training period. Instead, he would be banished on May 4th!

Feeling extremely pleased, Saigo collected his thoughts and began considering which reward to choose.

"Alright, as usual, let's use the process of elimination!"

"Future Memories and Battle Power—off the table first!"

"Full-Powered Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan shouldn't be too difficult to achieve later. They might even be regular reward options. Eliminated!"

(The author notes: Void Survival is the best reward according to the outline. When formally writing, a mistake led to this being a plot hole. I'll fix it later when I get the chance.)

"I have no idea what Detection Eye does—out!"

"That leaves Void Survival and Talent Enhancement. Which one should I pick?"

Talent Enhancement, as the name suggests, is used to enhance one's natural abilities.

But with an external cheat system, Talent Enhancement didn't seem as urgent.

With that thought, Saigo decisively chose Void Survival.

"I choose the third one!"

[Ding! Selection successful! Congratulations, host, for acquiring a new ability—Void Survival! Please check the 'Talents' tab for details.]

As the notification sounded, Saigo eagerly opened his personal information panel.

...

[Talents]:

Great Ape

Large appetite with strong digestion

Battle power increases after recovery from injuries

Void Survival

[Secret Techniques]: Potential Unleash (Beginner, 30/100)

[Skills]: ...

[Space]: None

[Simulation Duration]: 3 months

[Simulations Used]: 0

Clicking on the Void Survival talent revealed a description:

[A rare talent possessed by only a few species in the universe, allowing survival in space without relying on air.]

After reading, Saigo couldn't help but grin.

"With this, I won't have to fear oxygen-deprived environments in the future! My survival ability just skyrocketed!"

"Still, couldn't I have wished for something broader, like the ability to adapt quickly to any harsh environment?"

"Hmm, it's clear the simulated version of me isn't as smart as I am!"

Reassuring himself with this thought, Saigo felt much better.

With a thought, he closed the system panel and lay back on his bed, waiting for Tarble and the caretaker to arrive.

Before long, the two showed up together.

The Saiyan prince, Tarble, was vastly different from the typical Saiyan image.

He looked calm and gentle, completely devoid of the wild aura associated with Saiyans.

If not for the signature Saiyan tail coiled around his waist, Saigo might have mistaken him for an ordinary Earthling.

"Lord Saigo, let's go! It's time for you and Prince Tarble to set off!" The caretaker, a peculiar-looking Saiyan who disliked fighting, spoke respectfully.

Leave Planet Vegeta?

No way!

Without external aid, he might have fled with Tarble.

But now, with the cheat system, the odds of resisting Frieza were significantly higher. Why would he run away?

A savior of the Saiyan race would never abandon his people so easily!

"Before leaving, I want to pay my respects to King Vegeta. Is that alright?" Saigo put on a regretful expression, fearing the caretaker might refuse. "As a Saiyan, I can't leave without meeting my king at least once, can I?"

"This..." The caretaker hesitated and looked to Prince Tarble for his opinion.

Saigo thought Tarble might refuse and was ready to resort to force if necessary.

To his surprise, Tarble didn't decline.

"Sure! I'll take you there!" Tarble agreed without any sign of displeasure—in fact, he seemed eager to please.

Tarble had already accepted his fate. To build rapport with his future protector, he saw this as an opportunity to strengthen their relationship.

His father, King Vegeta III, had taught him to learn how to interact with elite warriors, especially his personal guard.

A guard who felt valued would protect him more wholeheartedly.

This request was a small matter for Tarble. It not only fulfilled Saigo's wish but also earned his goodwill—a win-win situation!

With a smile, Saigo nodded, and Tarble smiled back.

Soon, in the Saiyan royal hall...

Saigo finally met the legendary King Vegeta.

The king's fiery hairstyle bore some resemblance to Saigo's, though Saigo's hair was shorter and lacked the pronounced widow's peak or broad forehead.

If King Vegeta's hairstyle resembled a blazing flame, Saigo's was more like a small flickering ember, with less prominent spikes resembling a water droplet from afar.

Lounging casually on his throne, King Vegeta rested his head on his fist, exuding an air of indifference. He waved dismissively, showing visible impatience.

"Alright! Now that your pre-departure wish is fulfilled, hurry up and set off! Tarble's safety will be your responsibility from now on!"

Seeing the king's apathy, Tarble hurried to urge Saigo to leave.

"Saigo, let's go!"

As for the caretaker, he remained outside the royal hall, waiting by the entrance.

However, Saigo had no intention of leaving. Noticing that no one present was wearing a scouter, he made up his mind.

Looking up at King Vegeta, Saigo said calmly, "But, King Vegeta, I don't want to leave Planet Vegeta.
