DOULUO: THE DRAGON GOD WITH GACHA

Chapter 39: WISH & SUMMONS

There was silence in the room as the video finished playing.

After a long pause, Tsunade broke the silence. "With your current strength, you're planning to attack and kill Danzo?"

Shisui shook his head slowly, his expression calm but determined. "Not just Danzo," he said, his voice steady and resolute. "Everyone involved in the massacre—directly or indirectly—they will all die."

Tsunade raised an eyebrow, her tone sharp. "You might be healed now, and perhaps even stronger than before, but do you really think you can fight the entire village alone? Even with the Uchiha clan backing you, it won't be enough. Your presence alone could ignite a civil war. Danzo and Sarutobi will spin the narrative, claiming you attacked Danzo and betrayed the village. Their grip on Konoha is far too strong, both politically and militarily."

Shisui's lips curled into a faint, bitter smile as he raised an eyebrow. The mention of Sarutobi Hiruzen clearly struck a nerve. "Who said I was going alone?" he countered. "Before you all arrived, the five of us were already planning to head to Konoha and kill the Konoha Four."

Tsunade's eyes widened in shock. " You all?"

Shisui smiled and told her about quest function of the shop.

New arrivals looked surprised hearing this information.

After a moment, Tsunade collected herself and spoke again. "And even after you kill them, do you honestly believe the other clans will accept someone from the Uchiha clan as Hokage?"

Shisui's bitter smile deepened, tinged with a hint of regret. "I'm well aware of that," he admitted. "I know it won't be that simple. That's why I intended to use my second wish to resolve the issue."

Tsunade, along with the others, looked visibly surprised. "Second wish?" she echoed.

Xuanyu, who had been observing the exchange silently, stepped in to explain. "Since Shisui and Almight were my first customers, I granted them an additional wish as a bonus."

Tsunade shook her head feeling little jealous, exhaling heavily. "We can deal with that later. For now, I have my own question." She turned to Xuanyu with a curious yet cautious expression. "What are the limits or conditions for the wish I can ask for?"

Xuanyu nodded and began to explain. "The wish must be within reasonable limits and highly detailed. For example, if you wish to become immortal but don't specify how or what type of immortality you want, the interpretation will be left up to me. I could make you immortal by trapping your soul in an indestructible object. Technically, your wish would be fulfilled, but you might not like the outcome."

He paused to let the implications sink in before continuing. "There are also other restrictions. You cannot resurrect someone who has been dead for more than ten years, and you cannot directly wish to become a god or a divine entity. So, I suggest you choose wisely."

Tsunade's face fell slightly at the mention of the resurrection condition. "Can I make my wish later?" she asked, her voice tinged with sadness. "I'll use it after you've all completed your mission."

Xuanyu shrugged nonchalantly. "That's fine," he replied before turning his attention to Rias Gremory. "Now, Miss Gremory, what is your wish?"

Rias stepped forward, her crimson hair framing her determined expression. "Do you know about my race and the chess pieces we use?"

Xuanyu nodded. "Just the basics. You're a devil, and your society uses something called Evil Pieces to transform individuals of other races into devils, making them your servants."

The others looked visibly surprised upon hearing about Rias's race and the Evil Pieces. Some even showed hints of discomfort, particularly regarding the concept of "servants."

Rias continued, undeterred. "I'm engaged to someone against my will," she explained, her tone frustrated. "The only way I can break this engagement is through a Rating Game."

"For those unfamiliar," she elaborated, addressing the group, "a Rating Game is a competition used to measure a devil's strength and, by extension, their social standing in the Underworld. It's essentially a battle between two kings and their peerages. The top ten ranked participants are considered heroes among devils."

Xuanyu listened attentively before responding. "I see. So, I assume your peerage is either incomplete or lacking in strength?"

Rias nodded. "Both. That's why my wish is to complete my peerage with members who possess both high strength and great potential."

Xuanyu considered her request for a moment. "If you wish to completely fill your peerage, I can do that, but the members will have high strength with average potential. I wouldn't recommend it. A better option would be to summon fewer members but ensure they have both high strength and exceptional potential."

Rias's eyes lit up at the suggestion. "That does sound better," she admitted. "I can train them alongside my current peerage. Besides, if we end up visiting other worlds as part of our journey, I might find others with extraordinary potential to recruit."

"Exactly," Xuanyu agreed. "Now, how many members would you like to summon, and do you have specific abilities in mind for them?"

Rias thought carefully before answering. "I'd like to summon four members. For my Rook position, someone with immense physical strength. For my Bishop position, someone with advanced magical abilities and healing powers. For my Knight position, someone with exceptional swordsmanship. The last one can be a wild card—powerful but random."

Xuanyu smiled approvingly. "A well-thought-out choice."

After finalizing the details, Xuanyu activated his Skill: Wish. A brilliant flash of light filled the room, and when it faded, four lifeless bodies appeared on the ground behind them.

It had been Rias's idea to summon deceased individuals. Resurrecting them as devils would ensure their loyalty and save her the trouble of convincing them to join her peerage. It was a pragmatic, albeit somewhat manipulative, decision.

Rias inspected the bodies briefly before turning to Xuanyu. "Can you provide a brief introduction about them?"

Xuanyu used his Skill: Answer to gather basic information about the summoned individuals. After a moment, he began his explanation.

"Let's start with the one summoned for your Bishop position," he said, gesturing to a red-haired woman. "Her name is Lily Potter, née Evans. She was a witch with exceptional magical and medical knowledge. She died protecting her child from a dark lord."

The group looked at the red-haired woman's body with curiosity, though some found it unsettling to discuss the deceased.

"For your Knight position," Xuanyu continued, "we have another woman—Acier Silva. She was a noblewoman from the Clover Kingdom's House Silva, one of its royal families. She also served as the captain of the Silver Eagle squad of the Magic Knights. Tragically, she died from a curse inflicted by Megicula, who is ironically a devil."

Rias raised an eyebrow. "A devil?" she remarked. "That could make things... complicated."

Xuanyu nodded. "Indeed, but don't worry too much. Despite the name, the devils of her world are quite different from those of yours."

Rias nodded thoughtfully, mentally preparing for the challenges ahead.
