Kallistra's wide eyes filled with despair as she clutched at her cracking form, her voice a broken whisper.

"This… this can't be happening…"

But it was. And Eratz, with Nythra by his side, was ready to end it.

Kallistra flinched, her body trembling as she instinctively floated backward. The cracks on her golden skin flickered erratically, betraying the strain she was under.

Her glowing eyes darted between Eratz and the towering form of Abyssion behind him. For the first time, fear truly gripped her.

The weight of the situation pressed down on her. She had pushed herself to the brink, harnessing too many powers too early.

Now, she faced an opponent who had nullified her only advantage, and now Eratz stood at his peak, his aura burning brighter than ever, while she was cracked, drained, and unraveling.

The certainty of her defeat loomed over her like a shadow she couldn't escape.

"Wait," Kallistra said, her voice trembling as she raised a hand toward him. "You don't need to do this... Please... Just... Wait."

Eratz didn't respond. His expression remained calm but resolute, his glowing purple eyes locked onto her. Slowly, he raised his hand, his palm open and facing her.

The energy around him pulsed, rippling with raw power. Nythra hovered behind him, its massive form exuding an oppressive presence that seemed to drain the air of hope.

Desperation clawed at Kallistra. Her mind raced, her breath quickening as she realized he wasn't going to stop. She clutched her chest, her body trembling violently.

"No... I won't lose here. I can't lose here!" she screamed, her voice breaking. Her cracks glowed fiercely, golden light spilling from them as if her body was about to burst.

"If this is out it will end... then... then... Shit!!!"

With a guttural scream, Kallistra's body erupted in a blinding flash. Her golden aura flared to life, expanding outward in a chaotic burst of energy.

She forced herself to activate a field spell, summoning the light dragon's energy. The dragon above roared and resumed its titanic effort to alter reality.

Kallistra's aura coalesced into a devastating surge of energy. She raised both hands, the cracks on her body glowing like molten veins, and unleashed a colossal beam of pure light directly at Eratz.

The attack tore through the air with deafening force, the sheer brilliance of it threatening to blind anyone who dared look.

Eratz stood firm, unmoving. As the beam rushed toward him, he calmly moved his hands, summoning a purple shield that materialized around him like a barrier from the void.

The light beam struck the shield with a thunderous explosion, consuming him in a blinding surge of energy.

For a moment, it seemed as though he had been swallowed by the attack. But within the radiant chaos, his eyes glowed brighter.

The purple aura around him flared, and his shield expanded, growing stronger with each passing second. He could feel it, his new abilities, awakening instinctively, guiding him.

With a simple motion, Eratz pushed forward. The shield transformed, and in its place, he summoned a concentrated beam of black energy, a dark counterpart to Kallistra's attack.

The black beam surged forward, colliding with her light in a cataclysmic clash. The battlefield quaked, the air splitting with raw power as the two forces battled for dominance.

Kallistra trembled, her teeth clenched as she poured every ounce of her remaining energy into the attack. Her golden light crackled and flared, pushing against the dark beam.

"No! This can't be happening!" she cried out, her voice cracking with despair.

Eratz struggled too, his body straining under the immense power coursing through him. But he gritted his teeth, a wild grin on his face.

Slowly, his beam began to push hers back. The dark energy surged forward, inch by inch, overpowering her light.

"No! No! NO!" Kallistra screamed, her aura flaring wildly as she tried to hold her ground.

But it was futile. The cracks on her body deepened, light spilling out uncontrollably as her strength faltered.

Eratz roared, his voice echoing across the battlefield as he gave one final push. The black beam surged forward with unstoppable force, breaking through Kallistra's attack and striking her directly.

The impact sent a shockwave rippling outward, shaking the entire battlefield as the light from her aura exploded in a brilliant burst.

Kallistra's scream was drowned out by the sound of the explosion. Her form was engulfed in the darkness.

In the heart of the blast, Kallistra's mouth hung open, her consciousness unraveling. Time seemed to slow as her mind drifted away from the chaos.

For a fleeting moment, she felt the world as she had never felt it before, every thread of energy, every shift in balance.

The balance had been altered. Not as much as she had hoped, but still, something monumental had begun. She could feel it.

Countless new forms of energy were materializing, unique, free, mixed, and propagating. She let out a weak laugh, her lips curling into the faintest smile.

Somehow, despite everything, her dream was coming true. The energy of the world had risen, and the spark of evolution she had envisioned was igniting.

Above her, the light dragon roared, its massive form glowing brighter as its energy reacted violently. Its power surged outward, further warping the space around it.

The world seemed to contort and ripple, the sky shattering like fragile glass, its cracks spreading in luminous patterns.

Eratz saw this and shifted his focus. His glowing purple eyes locked onto the light dragon.

He clenched his fists and then spread his arms wide, calling out to the black dragon behind him.

The black dragon responded immediately, its body coiling with dark energy. It opened its massive maw, purple streaks glowing across its obsidian form. The air grew heavy and electric as the dragon charged its attack.

Streams of energy flowed toward its core, condensing into an intense, concentrated beam. The sheer force of its power warped the space around it, dark tendrils crackling like veins of lightning.

Then, with a deep, guttural roar, the black dragon unleashed its attack. A devastating beam of pure void energy erupted from its jaws, tearing through the air like a blade of destruction.

The attack resembled a chaotic inferno, with tendrils of black and purple spiraling outward, devouring everything in its path.

Stuck with the only task of reshaping the world, the light dragon was left merciless.

The beam struck it squarely, colliding with its radiant form. The light dragon roared, its body glowing brighter as it fought back. But Eratz wasn't finished.

Channeling his own newfound power, he raised his hands to the sky. Purple energy erupted from his palms, forming a massive sphere of purple light.

With a sharp motion, he directed it upward, creating a blast that rushed toward the heavens like a pillar of darkness.

The blast pierced through the clouds, ripping them apart and swallowing everything in its wake. The light dragon, the spreading energy from its alterations, the blasts, everything, like a celestial whirlpool, and even Kallistra.

All were caught in the cascading waves of power. The energy consumed the battlefield, radiating outward in pulses that shook the island like a heartbeat.

The ground beneath them quaked violently, fissures opening as the island trembled under the immense pressure.

All around, the space distorted, warping in unnatural ways as the two opposing forces clashed.

Kallistra's body was hurled toward the sky, her form spinning weightlessly amidst the chaos. Her emerald eyes fluttered open briefly, gazing at the destruction with a strange sense of peace.

She could see her own demise written in the storm of energy around her.

She closed her eyes, resigning herself to her fate. The light engulfed her, consuming her completely.

But then… a hand reached through the blinding radiance.

Eratz's hand.

She opened her eyes in shock, her cracked face trembling as she saw him. He was struggling, his own body battered and glowing with purple light, yet his grip was firm.

Her body began to disintegrate, the cracks spreading until she shattering like glass. From within the crumbling shell, Kallistra's normal form emerged, as if breaking free from a crystalline cocoon.

Light spilled from her form, fragments of emerald shards breaking away and converging toward the sky, swirling into a radiant spiral.

Eratz held on, keeping her hand in his grasp despite the raging wind.

His eyes, calm and serene, met hers. There was no anger in them, no hatred, only calm and resolve.

Kallistra's lips parted slightly, a hint of surprise flashing across her face. She felt his grip tighten, and for a moment, her eyes softened, and she let out a quiet sigh.

Her voice echoed faintly, carried on the wind like a whisper.

"I was right…" she murmured, her tone gentle yet filled with wonder. "You're not human…"
