Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 147: A False Domain

To Max's question, Revenna didn't pay any attention, her face solemn as she wondered about the depths of his strength. From what she had witnessed firsthand, Max excelled in speed, his physical strength surpassed hers, his defense was strong enough to resist her ice, and his prowess in both long-range attacks and close combat showed he was a versatile fighter.

'He's good in all areas, as if he possesses no weakness, but that's impossible—everyone has weaknesses,' she calmly analyzed the battle from the start and reached a conclusion. 'The only weakness he has is his level.' Though he could fight above his rank, for how long could he keep it up? How long until he ran out of mana?

Looking down at Max, Revenna slowly descended to the stage, her eyes not leaving him. "Your level is your strongest asset as well as your weakest link, you know that?" she asked, smiling.

Max tilted his head, blankly. "Kind of." At that moment, the ten glowing long swords that had been dragged by the ten ice dragons flew back to Max, floating behind him.

"So, what's it gonna be? More dragons? Ice avalanche? Ice mountains, now?" Max asked, glancing at her.

Revenna's lips curled into a faint smile as she heard his words. "Something like that," she replied enigmatically, her frosty gaze locking onto him. "But I'm certain you'll enjoy what's next."

With that, she closed her eyes briefly, her aura shifting. When her eyes reopened, a cold, piercing light glinted within them. Frost began seeping from her body, curling into the air like an icy mist.

The frost spread quickly, freezing everything in its path. The stage beneath them groaned as it succumbed to the relentless chill, ice creeping outward with terrifying speed. Within moments, the entire stage had transformed into a glacial wasteland.

What had once been solid ground was now an expanse of shimmering frost, jagged icicles rising like crystalline blades, ready to entrap and disorient her opponent. The frozen landscape reflected the light in a dazzling, yet eerie display.

Max's breath condensed in the frigid air as he surveyed the battlefield. "What is this?" he muttered, a bit shocked by the scene before him. A chill ran through him—not from the cold, but from the sheer oppressive power radiating from her aura.

Revenna stood at the center of it all, calm and composed, as if the battlefield itself obeyed her will. "Welcome to my frozen battlefield," she said softly, her voice carrying a sharp edge, like a blade hidden beneath a blanket of snow.

Max furrowed his brows as he studied the spectacle before him. "What kind of power is this?" he asked, his tone sharp with disbelief. He was certain that even a Level 3 Ice Aura couldn't achieve something on this scale.

"Why don't you find out for yourself?" Revenna replied, her voice carrying an air of effortless confidence. A throne of ice materialized behind her, its intricate carvings glistening under the battlefield's eerie, frozen light. She settled into it gracefully, her chin resting on one hand as she fixed Max with an almost playful gaze. "Go on."

Max stood frozen—not from the cold, but from sheer disbelief. His opponent had just conjured an ice throne and sat down mid-battle, as if dismissing him as a threat.

'Is she for real?' Max thought, incredulous. 'We're in the middle of a fight, and she's pulling something like this?'

Despite himself, he couldn't help but feel a pang of admiration. 'This is so cool... but why do I have to be the one facing it?'

Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted as his eyes widened in sheer astonishment. Behind Revenna's throne, the air shimmered and twisted, revealing an army of icy monsters.

There were dozens of them—ice dragons with jagged wings, snarling wolves with crystalline fur, and a myriad of other beasts formed entirely from glistening ice. Each one stood as if awaiting her command, their cold, unblinking eyes fixed on Max.

From his vantage point, the scene was both breathtaking and utterly terrifying. Revenna, seated on her frozen throne, looked every bit like a queen of frost commanding an unstoppable army.

Max's grip tightened on his sword as a chill ran down his spine. "What the hell have I gotten myself into?" he muttered under his breath.

He wasn't the only one shocked by the scene—the other geniuses were even more shocked than him, for they understood what the scene in front of them meant.

"A False Domain?" Veylin muttered, his expression extremely solemn.

"Most likely." Crown Prince Aelric nodded, his eyes shining with admiration. "A True Domain is only possible through Concepts, and even that requires a high level of understanding. Nobody in the Lower Domains has ever achieved a True Domain."

He added, glancing at the ice wasteland, "A False Domain, though—a mere replica, or should I say an incomplete domain—is far inferior to a True Domain, but in the Lower Domain, it might be one's strongest means."

Everyone's expressions turned grave as Crown Prince Aelric's words echoed through the air. They understood the weight of his revelation—a False Domain was a force to be reckoned with, especially in the Valora Continent, where not a single individual had yet mastered a True Domain.

But what truly left them speechless was the one behind it all: Revenna Frostbane.

Revenna was a known name in the North Region, but her reputation paled in comparison to the brilliance of figures like Veylin, Crown Prince Aelric, or Arthur Gale of the South. Among the geniuses of their generation, she was a shadowy figure, hidden by the Witch of the North—a name whispered in passing, a talent recognized but never fully acknowledged.

Yet, no one, not even the most perceptive of them, had ever imagined that the mysterious genius of the North harbored the potential to eclipse them all.

"I guess this battle is over then." Arthur Gale sneered, glancing at Max.

"I won't be that sure," Amelia said, glancing at Max. "He appeared surprised by the scale of her attack, but not scared."

"Oh, I'm very sure he doesn't know what he's facing." Jack, the Mad Sword, sneered. "If he understood what we understand, he'd be trembling in fear right about now."

Nobody thought Max would win from this stage. He was strong—maybe as strong as some of them—but surviving a domain, even a false one, wasn't everyone's cup of tea.

He just wasn't at that level yet.

Meanwhile, outside the Temple of Divine, the leaders of the other regions were shocked to witness a False Domain in play.

"Witch of the North… She has hidden her geniuses deep," Kate said, her face serious as she glanced at the screen before them.

James nodded. "This, and also the fact that we don't have enough connections to the North, either in trade or just simple relations. We rarely know the quality of their geniuses."

Aurelia understood all of that, but she wasn't in the mood to discuss it. The strength Max displayed—the ability to battle one rank above himself—surprised her, so she wanted Max to win this battle. But Revenna's reveal of the False Domain washed away all her hope of Max winning against her.

"Don't worry too much, Aurelia," the man in the mask, the leader of the Black Lotus Guild, said in a sly tone. "Until the very end, until the battle ends, it could go either way, so just watch patiently."

Aurelia frowned upon hearing the 'encouraging' words from the leader of the Black Lotus. But she ignored him as always.

Turning to the screen, her expression became solemn as she saw the ice monsters under Revenna's command spring into action.
