Destroying My Own World

Chapter 248: Came at the right time.

"He killed my clone, but I saw everything," Amaryllis said after her clone was squished before she knew it.

"I assume Lucifer has failed since The Lord noticed your clone?" Nal asked with her eyebrows raised.

Amaryllis nodded her head and then she explained what she saw from the war between Lucifer and The Lord. Everyone listened to her and couldn't believe that Lucifer got defeated in an instant knowing he possessed The Lord's power.

"Now that The Lord knew that we knew about his origin and how he used his other reality to help him, he should be preparing for our encounter with him," Odin pointed out as he held a big glass of ale.

"I should have left before he noticed me. I'm sorry, Mykel," Amaryllis said and looked at Mykel feeling guilty.

"It's fine. I don't think it matters whether you got caught or not since we managed to discover his origin. He knew that we knew even before this," Mykel answered so calmly. "It's not your fault, so don't blame yourself," Mykel smiled at Amaryllis. Stay tuned for updates on My Virtual Library Empire

Everyone nodded in agreement and convinced Amaryllis that it wasn't her fault at all.

"Now it has come to this, I hate to say this but your crazy plan is the only choice we have," Nal said and looked at Mykel.

Mykel nodded his head in agreement, and before anyone could ask about the plan, Sven came out of the cabin. He told everyone that Lillith woke up, and said that she wanted to tell everyone what she saw.

Everyone went into the cabin to listen to what Lillith had to say about what she experienced. They were all gathering in the bedroom after Amaryllis made the space in the bedroom big enough to fit everyone in.

Mykel sat on the bed with Elena and he wanted to make sure Lilith was alright. She was still scared, but she didn't want to hold the things that she knew to Mykel since she knew Mykel needed to know what she saw immediately.

"The realities that I went to, they crumbled as soon as I entered," Lillith said as she looked at Mykel while Elena was hugging her from the side and comforting her.

"Crumble?" Mykel furrowed his eyebrows and found it interesting. "Like the world itself collapsing?" Mykel raised his eyebrows.

"Yes," Lillith paused and nodded her head. "Not only the world, but everyone crumbled like statues. The world disappeared and I was stuck there for years..." Lillith continued and she started to tremble.

"That's as what I have expected," Amaryllis hummed as she nodded with understanding.

"What do you mean?" Mykel asked.

"I'm not trying to discourage Vincze and Bhatmelec, but it's not that easy to create alternate realities. What they both have created so far was just a shred of what the real alternate realities are," Amaryllis explained as she looked at everyone. "To put it simply, what they created so far, they were indeed realities but once they have achieved their purpose, the realities crumble because they lack of foundations," Amaryllis continued.

"So basically it's like building a tower, but you skipped the ground floor and just created the top of the tower. Once it's done, it will fall and crumble since you have finished making the top of the tower," Odin stroked his beard and nodded with understanding.

"That's exactly what I meant. If you want to create an alternate reality, you have to make it from zero," Amaryllis nodded with understanding.

Mykel thought about it and realized it wasn't as simple as that, but he expected that already. He then made up his mind and nodded his head with understanding, and then everyone looked at him and waited for what he had to say.

"If that's the case let's make an alternate reality," Mykel said and looked at Amaryllis.

"Don't you hear what she said? Making a perfect alternate reality is impossible since none of us, not even you can make a world from zero. Even if you can, that alternate reality won't be able to enter the reality that The Lord created so it would be a waste of time," Nal pointed out.

"I might be able to open a random alternate reality with the power that I got from the dice and learned how it works, but again, as Nal said, it's impossible if we want to make a solid reality," Amaryllis pointed out as she looked at Mykel.

"Who said I'm going to make it from zero?" Mykel asked with his eyebrows raised. "We don't have to make our own tower from nothing, we can just leech on the tower that's being built," Mykel answered.

"And? What are you going to do with that even if you managed to leech on another reality? Didn't you say it's impossible to go back and forth from one reality to our reality?" Aurea asked as she leaned against the wall and stared at Mykel.

Mykel looked at Elena and realized he wouldn't want to sacrifice his life or risk his life. He didn't want to think that sacrificing himself would be the only way out, and he didn't want to make Elena cry anymore.

"Looks like I came at the right moment," Loki said as she stood in front of the door to the cabin.

Everyone turned around and looked at Loki in her elegant black dress, but they noticed a child peeking at them in between her waist and her right arm. Loki chuckled and then she slowly moved to the side and that was when they saw a boy with black hair and yellow eyes that looked exactly like Mykel but he was only three years old.

"Oh... wow..." Nal raised her eyebrows and she was stunned. She wasn't the only one who was stunned, everyone in the room as well.

Mykel looked at the boy, and then he walked toward the boy, he thought that he would scare the boy, but the boy stared at him in the eye without showing a single fear. He then went to his knees in front of the boy, and to his surprise, the boy hugged him tightly without saying a single word. Everyone was gasping and it was so cute that it melted their hearts.

"He's been asking me where's father, so here I am bringing him here," Loki chuckled as she looked at Mykel. "To be precise, he was the one who brought me here," Loki pointed out.

"What's his name?" Elena asked as she approached the boy.

"I haven't given him a name, I'll leave that to Mykel since he's too attached to Mykel for some reason," Loki answered and looked at Elena waving her hand behind Mykel's back.

Mykel lifted the boy and carried him in his arms like he did when Elena was a kid. Everyone immediately approached him and tried to hold the boy's hand and welcomed him with warm smiles.

"Do you have a name in mind?" Jeanne asked Mykel.

"I don't have anything right now because it's too sudden," Mykel answered as he looked at the boy. "I'll think about it as we talk about the issue," Mykel continued.

"Now that I think about it, what do you mean that you came at the right time?" Mykel asked Loki who was letting the boy hold her index finger with his tiny hand.

"Oh, that's the power that he has," Loki answered as she stared Mykel in the eye. "Can you show him what you did back then?" Loki asked her son.

The boy jumped down from Mykel's hand and he landed so perfectly that he didn't look like a three-year-old kid. He then grabbed Mykel's hand and dragged him outside, and when Mykel walked outside the cabin, he noticed he was no longer in the Empyrean World.

Everyone could see the entrance door had become a gate to another world, but they wondered what kind of world it was. They all entered and realized it was Earth, the same Earth in the real world, but something was different.

"This is the old street I used to take," Mykel said as he looked at the street and the shops on the sides. "We are in the past, my past?" Mykel added.

"Wait, are you telling me we are in your past memories?" Nal asked as she looked at Mykel.

"This isn't a memory, and we are not currently living in the past either," Loki answered as she stood at the portal. "Before he was born, I was brought to the world where I thought it was my past, but then I realized it wasn't my past, it was another reality from taking the memories inside my head," Loki explained.

"So you're telling me that he can move to an alternate universe freely?" Amaryllis asked with a shocked expression.

"Yes, and I don't know what you guys were talking about, but when Odin, my mother, and Amy talked about alternate reality, I realized this might be able to help," Loki answered.

Everyone looked at the boy and they realized he could be the answer to all their questions and problems.

"What did I tell you, Mykel? My daughter is the best, isn't she?" Nal asked as she chuckled mischievously.

"Yes, indeed," Mykel nodded his head and looked at his son looking at the street. "I think it's because he inherited the creation power that makes him able to connect all the worlds and realities The Lord created," Mykel added.

"Are we going to proceed with that plan?" Amaryllis asked Mykel.

"Yes, we will," Mykel looked at Amaryllis with a serious expression.
