Destiny Of Immortality

Chapter 15: The Flames of Revenge

The ritual had granted Shree Yan a taste of true power. His body was now imbued with a force that seemed to transcend the laws of nature, a power that surged through his veins with every heartbeat. But for all the strength he had gained, one thing still gnawed at him—his mother's death.

It was the reason he had become who he was. The reason he had turned his back on morality, on humanity itself. The reason he was willing to do anything, sacrifice anyone, to achieve his ultimate goal: revenge.

His mother, a powerful figure in her own right, had been ruthlessly slaughtered by the forces of the Gautam kingdom. They had wiped out her entire family, leaving her to die alone, betrayed by the very kingdom she had once served. It was a memory that haunted Shree Yan's every waking moment, and the flames of vengeance burned in his heart, fiercer than ever.

The Plan Unfolds

Shree Yan had not forgotten the Gautam kingdom. His hatred for them was consuming, and the more he grew in power, the more he desired to bring their reign to an end. He would tear down the kingdom brick by brick, using the very people who had once been his allies as pawns in his game of destruction.

The Rai family, despite its internal turmoil, had grown stronger under his influence. Diwahang trusted him, though not fully, and the generals had become more pliable in the wake of the recent betrayals. With their loyalty in hand, Shree Yan began to carefully weave his plans.

It began with whispers—small seeds of doubt planted among the generals of the Rai family about the Gautam kingdom. Their spies, the ones they thought were loyal, had been secretly working for the enemy. The trust that Diwahang had worked so hard to build was beginning to erode, and Shree Yan could feel the momentum shifting.

But that was just the beginning. He had a much grander plan in mind.

The Unlikely Alliance

One evening, Shree Yan sat alone in his quarters, his eyes fixated on the map before him. His fingers traced the borders of the Gautam kingdom, and his thoughts began to form a plan of unimaginable destruction.

But he needed help.

He needed an ally—someone who could provide him with the resources to take on the Gautam kingdom head-on. He needed someone with power, with influence. Someone who could help him break the kingdom's defenses and tear apart its foundation.

That's when the idea came to him: Dhungel Bahun.

Dhungel, a man of ambition and cunning, had long been a thorn in Diwahang's side. He was a master manipulator, and though his methods were often brutal, they could prove useful in Shree Yan's grand scheme. But Shree Yan needed to make sure that Dhungel was fully under his control.

He knew exactly how to do it.

A Deal with the Devil

The night was heavy with the scent of rain as Shree Yan made his way to Dhungel's camp. The man was always difficult to predict, his ego sometimes bigger than his intellect. But Shree Yan was confident that he could turn him to his side.

As he entered the camp, Dhungel was waiting for him, his expression unreadable. "You're bold to come here alone, Shree Yan," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "What is it that you seek?"

Shree Yan smiled, his eyes gleaming with malice. "I seek your help, Dhungel. And in return, I offer you the destruction of your greatest enemy—the Gautam kingdom."

Dhungel raised an eyebrow, intrigued but skeptical. "And why would I help you? What is it that you want from me?"

"I want to destroy the Gautam kingdom," Shree Yan said, his voice cold. "And I need someone with the will to see it done. You, Dhungel, have the ambition. You want power, you want revenge. Together, we can tear down the walls of the Gautam kingdom and leave nothing but ashes."

Dhungel chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "You think I don't know the cost of revenge? The Gautam kingdom is powerful, Shree Yan. They've crushed armies before, and they won't hesitate to do it again."

Shree Yan's eyes narrowed. "You've been playing at power for too long, Dhungel. Now, you can either continue to waste your time in petty squabbles, or you can stand beside me and carve your name into history. Help me destroy the Gautam kingdom, and you'll be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams."

Dhungel studied Shree Yan for a long moment, his mind weighing the options. Finally, he stood, a grim smile on his lips. "Very well. I'll help you. But remember, Shree Yan, you promised me something more than just power. You promised me a seat at the table when the dust settles."

Shree Yan nodded, his smile never wavering. "Of course. We'll both have what we desire when the Gautam kingdom falls."

The Countdown Begins

With Dhungel now firmly in his grasp, Shree Yan set his plan into motion. His influence over the Rai family continued to grow, and he used that power to secretly prepare for war. Supplies were gathered, spies sent to infiltrate the Gautam kingdom, and alliances were forged in the shadows.

The time for subtlety was over. Shree Yan would strike when the Gautam kingdom least expected it, and he would do so with a force unlike any they had ever faced.

But he knew that the road ahead would not be easy. The Gautam kingdom was strong, its military formidable, and its leaders ruthless. But none of that mattered to Shree Yan. He had one thing they didn't—an unyielding will, a burning desire for revenge, and an unwavering commitment to destroy everything the Gautam kingdom had built.

A Path of Blood

As Shree Yan looked out over the battlefield, the first whispers of war began to stir. He could feel the momentum building, the first wave of his vengeance rising in the distance. The Gautam kingdom would burn, and when the smoke cleared, there would be nothing left but ruins.

And from those ruins, Shree Yan would rise, not just as a conqueror, but as the one who had freed himself from the chains of this illusionary world.

His revenge for his mother was almost within reach.
