CHAPTER 11

***FOUR ARMED APE***

Both fighters, prey and predators stared keenly at each other. Damian struck first "Shadow binding chains". He threw both chains forward in order to restrict the apes movement. The chains tied the ape in place, the ape struggled, even roaring at intervals. Its eyes became bloodlust as it tried to struggle. " Die". Damian roared, several shadow spears struck the ape, the ape roared in pain and fear was visible its eyes. Damian struck all part of the ape, avoiding its vitals. He walked towards the ape with a dagger made entirely of shadow. He pierced the ape's heart, killing it instantly. The ape fell to the floor. "You yourself are pretty strong". Chen spoke. " Hmm, don't flatter me". Damian replied faking a blush. "Let's head deeper to see if we'll find more". Damian suggested. They both strode deeper into the cave. The cave spasmed several metres deep and after walking few metres they encountered another ape. " This one is level eight basic realm". Damian said. " Hmm, it's been a long time since i fought". Chen thought internally. This time, the ape was wide awake and as soon as it sensed the intruders, it quickly jerked its head up. *ROAAR* The ape was angry. "Are ape always this cocky?" Damian asked. Chen laughed" I'll put it in its place". The ape picked up a large rock and hurled it towards Chen. Chen brought out his trusty daggers*Twin blood daggers*. He struck at the rock, slicing it in two. The ape was already in front of him. *"An ape sneak attacking??". Chen thought sarcastically. The ape swung all four fists at once. Chen figuring out that he couldn't evade the attack without taking much damage lept into the air, landing on top of the ape's large arms. The shockwaves of this attack shook the cave, threatning to bring it down. Chen, who was already on top of the ape's distructive fist charged forward. He struck both daggers repeatedly at the ape. The attack hit the ape, barely damaging it. "Is the strength difference that much between each level?" Chen asked, surprised that he didn't deal much damage on the ape. He stood few metres before the ape. The ape charged forward again, swinging repeatedly, each punch enough to destroy bones. "I can't get hit". He thought. He began to avoid the onslaught of attacks.
