Chapter 19: Handing over
Swiss point of view.
This mission is more of killing two birds with just a stone like they used to say.
Because, firstly, we are saving the world from a mad scientist, and secondly, we are promoting our name. Making our name known that we were for the community and not to harm anyone.
The mad scientist is the psycho type. He really is. He left a few guys in the warehouse because he knew he had a good locker for the bunker.
What self-assurance he's got, he was so sure the locker was well protected.
My sisters had always told me I was the most direct of them, going straight for what I wanted without hesitation, and I showed just that when the scientist demonstrated nonsense.
He never minded intruders could come and get the vaccines, or tamper with his formula for his deadly virus.
I was beside Mince. When we heard the door open, he could be coming with an attack or something of sort, and that was why we were both pointing our guns at him while he made his way down the stairs.
Him as a psycho made him get a bullet from me in his arm.
My sister, Ace, spoke, and he insulted her. It is not acceptable. No, not by me.
I won't allow anything of that to happen, insulting my sister while I am there.
Even after I shot him, he still had a lot to say. I would have helped him free his miserable wicked soul out of his filthy body if not that Fada had said we needed him alive so we could hand him over to the press and to the police.
When I shot him, he screamed in pain, and he said... "That will not get the bunker open".
I was going to shoot him again, this time, on his foot, but Mince stopped me.
Just like the scientist said, Ace's fourth trial didn't get the door opened.
He added, "You have all the time in this world to try and unlock it". "Here I am on my knees, and obeying your order".
Helen banged her gun on his head, and ordered him to shut up.
After the ninth attempt, the door refused to unlock.
Vesta went to her, and encouraged her, telling her she could do it.
Ace was already getting fed up. She said we should blow it off. When she said that, I knew she was tired of trying. The mad scientist then spoke again, even with the blood flowing down his forehead.
He said, "Blow it and let's see if the door falls".
I threatened to kill him if he did not give us the code. I was trying to sort things out. Instead, I made it more complicated.
I pointed the gun at his head to tempt him to speak. He moved close to the gun, and covered it with his mouth.
He said there was a time bomb there, and that he reinserted the code every day. He made it known that if a day passes by that he did not insert the code before the given time, the bomb goes off, and the world catches the virus.
After what he said, my eyes started changing views on his face. I had no choice than to drop my gun.
So I dropped it in disappointment.
We all learned that what we were dealing with is more than what we thought.
Ace went back to the door and inserted her system.
She took a deep breath, more calmed now than earlier. She paused for a moment. After about thirty seconds, she was on her keyboard and pressing some keys.
She inhaled deeply again.
Ace's eyelashes were raised majestically to view the depressed faces of us, one after the other, and straight down to the mad scientist who was smiling viciously back at her.
She raised her middle finger up to him, and the finger was slowly dropped to enter a key.
She dropped the finger on the key, and the door opened.
Oh mine! The excitement on our faces says it all.
That was when I loved hacking the most.
We had just saved the world and made a name for ourselves. Thanks to Fada for this wonderful discovery of his.
Rhe vicious smile on the face of the scientist soon turned sour, he's he's so ugly when he wasn't smiling.
His frowning disappointing face made him so ugly. He said, "Nevertheless, the bomb will go off, and we had no choice than to depend on him for the vaccines".
When the psycho scientist talked about the bomb will go off, we were carried away with taking the vaccines out, as commanded by Vesta.
Swiss was laughing after about two baskets of the vaccines had been taken out of the bunker.
Vesta screamed at her asking why she was standing by, and not join in taking it out.
She responded with, "Why do we have to take the vaccines out, can't she take the bomb iut instead?".
Oh! That was indeed what we should do, we had totally forgotten we had a bomb technician among us.
She then ordered her to do her job.
She went in and put off the bomb in seconds. She learned about explosives. She's an expert in explosives and an expert in sniper handling too.
Ace put another code of her own on the door, and the scientist was tied along with his guards.
When we got home, Fada informed the press to come to the location.
We were dressed in our usual bright yellow hooded customized wear, and masked our faces with pink customized masks.
We handed them over to the press, and asked the press to hand them over to the police.
We got what we wanted: the heroic name. The headline was, "The daughters saves the world".
The news soon went viral, and the police tried to reach us, which would never happen.
It got to the point where they had no choice but mandate us to turn ourselves in, or they would declare us wanted.
