Chapter 236: Wipe Them Out [Subscribe Please]

The White Dragon Sub-temple had once been visited by Zhou Chun.

Back when he was undercover in the Dragon Transformation Sect, he had followed an order from Guan Cheng, the Great Protector of the Golden Dragon Hall, to visit the White Dragon Sub-temple once.

Although he stayed in the White Dragon Sub-temple for just over a day during that visit, it had given him a better understanding of the place than most members of the Jingguo Country Allied Army.

Therefore, after they breached the White Dragon Sub-temple, he, along with Zhou Mingde and others, quickly left the main force and charged toward the location of the Beast Garden within the sub-temple.

Zhou Chun had always coveted and envied the Mount Beasts, such as the Red-Eyed Dragon Sparrow and the Dragon Claw Giant Lizard, bred by the Dragon Transformation Sect.

During the previous attack on the Black Dragon Sub-temple, he had indeed considered acquiring such Spirit Beasts.

However, during his first entry into the Black Dragon Sub-temple, he didn't know where its Beast Garden was located and didn't dare to venture too deep into it.

And on the second entry, Taoist Mingjing had been by his side, so such important resources were not something the Zhou Family could control.

But now things were different.

Taoist Mingjing had personally stated that all the gains within the White Dragon Sub-temple could be handled at their discretion.

This meant that even if they obtained a thousand-year Spiritual Medicine in front of others, they would not need to hand it over.

In such circumstances, Zhou Chun naturally made the Beast Garden of the White Dragon Sub-temple his first priority target for the raid.

At that moment, many of the Dragon Transformation Sect Cultivators inside the White Dragon Sub-temple still hadn't recovered from the huge explosion just before, and had not organized an effective defense formation.

Furthermore, with their numbers of Purple Mansion Phase Cultivators and Foundation Establishment Stage Cultivators significantly fewer than those of the Jingguo Country Allied Forces, they couldn't defend against the armies of Cultivators charging at them from all directions.

So, the Zhou Family group of four made their way into the location of the Beast Garden without much effort.

Of course, this also had to do with the very location of the Beast Garden itself.

Beast Gardens such as this are usually built near the periphery of a sect's entrance, as it is more convenient for the Cultivators within the sect to use and return the Spirit Beasts.

As the Zhou Family members penetrated the Beast Garden, they saw besides an injured Foundation Establishment Cultivator and more than twenty Qi Refinement Realm Cultivators, only the Demon Beasts being bred there were left.

But, because the noise created by the recent enormous explosion had been so startling, not only were the Cultivators of the Dragon Transformation Sect greatly affected, but the Demon Beasts had been too, either darting around crazily or lying limp on the ground with their heads buried deep in the bushes or under their armpits.

"Don't kill these people first, keep them to control the Demon Beasts!"

Zhou Chun shouted lowly, stopping Zhou Jiapeng who was about to attack the Cultivators in the Beast Garden.

In most cases, cultivation forces do not allow individual Cultivators to form contracts with the public Mount Beasts they raise.

These Mount Beasts have been trained and domesticated from a young age, through generations of bloodline inheritance, and have long been tamed into obedient pets that rarely turn aggressive and harm people.

However, just as pets recognize their owners, Mount Beasts, while not prone to harming people, cannot be easily ridden or taken away by anyone.

Typically, beast tamers use special tools to cultivate obedience in Mount Beasts, ensuring they submit to anyone holding those unique tools.

For example, the Zhou Family's Octagonal Aquatic Deer are controlled using a waist token made from a section of the alpha male's antler; any Zhou Family Cultivators who haven't worked in the Deer Garden must carry this antler token to make the Octagonal Aquatic Deer heed their commands.

According to Zhou Chun's knowledge, the tool used by the Dragon Transformation Sect to command Mount Beasts is a Scale Token, specially crafted from Flood Dragon scales and bones. The Dragon Transformation Sect Cultivators can only make those Mount Beasts obediently serve by using the Scale Token to assert influence.

For convenience, these Scale Tokens are usually stored in the hands of those in charge of the Beast Garden.

Therefore, after stopping Zhou Jiapeng who wanted to kill, Zhou Chun quickly stepped forward and said in a deep voice, "Fellow Daoists, there's no need to panic, just cooperate with us obediently, and we guarantee to spare your lives!"

While speaking, he quietly activated the "Secret of Dragon Transformation" and then extended his hand, which had transformed into a green dragon claw, for the Dragon Transformation Sect Cultivators to see.

"Look, I was once a member of the Dragon Transformation Sect, but now realizing the error of my ways, I've reformed and still received trust and important tasks."

"Now that the Dragon Transformation Sect is faltering, if you can recognize the current situation and surrender, at least your lives can be spared!"

Zhou Chun said this and then stopped the secret technique, reversing the transformation.

Listenting to his words, many of the Dragon Transformation Sect Cultivators showed signs of being moved, indicating that they had been persuaded.

But at that moment, the determination flashed in the eyes of the Foundation Establishment Stage Cultivator who was there healing. He instantly reached toward his Storage Pouch at his waist.

"Hmph, you brat are seeking death!"

With a cold snort from Zhou Mingde, a firelight struck the arm of that Dragon Transformation Sect Cultivator, instantly shattering his entire arm.

Zhou Chun quickly realized what was happening and directly sent out a beam of golden light piercing through the man's head.

Then he turned to the Qi Refinement Realm Cultivators who had been scared by the scene and shouted coldly, "You all saw what happened, if you do not surrender, that will be your fate!"

As his words fell, a young man in white knelt to the ground with a "thump," continuously kowtowing and pleading, "Elder, please spare me, please spare me, I'm willing to surrender, I'm willing to surrender!"
