Champion Of Lust: Gods Conquer's Harem Paradise!

Chapter 261: Power and Madness

The atmosphere was thick with tension. The aftermath of the guardian's devastating attacks on Alera lingered in the air, her weakened body secured and tended to by Zara and Seren in the distance.

But now, it was Pyris' turn, everyone held their breath, Pyris was stepping up to fight since he had to face both challenges.

He stepped forward, his footsteps echoing against the cavernous chamber. His golden fiery eyes locked onto the guardian with a glint of madness and unrelenting confidence, a battle-crazed determination etched into his sharp features.

The aura of a golden dragon surged around him, wild and oppressive. It crackled and roared with a golden aura of his golden dragon lineage, laced with sheer raw power. There wasn't a trace of fear in him—only the steadfast conviction that victory was his.

The guardian tilted its hood slightly, as if acknowledging Pyris' resolve. Then, its ominous dark aura pulsed, a warning to the challenger.

It didn't pick up it's sword—since all their attacks and challenges relied on their raw power and with no weapons, it can only be fair with them!

Pyris smirked, rolling his shoulders as crackles if lightining began to crackle across his frame, dancing over his skin like eager snakes. His power surged further, a blazing storm of lightning, raw earth, and elemental fury merging into one potent force.

"I hope you're ready, because I'm not holding back," Pyris growled, his voice reverberating like a low thunder.

With an explosion of speed—superspeed at play—he vanished, reappearing in a blur of motion behind the guardian. His fist, coated with a lethal fusion of earth and lightning, slammed into the back of the towering monstrosity.

The sound of impact was deafening, and a shockwave rippled out, shaking the very ground beneath them. The guardian stumbled forward—three steps back.

Before it could recover, Pyris struck again. A massive fissure of rock shot from beneath the guardian's feet, twisting upwards with blinding lightning embedded in its jagged edges. It coiled around the guardian's legs before exploding violently, sending a cloud of dust and debris into the air. The guardian was forced back another four steps.

Pyris moved in a blur once more, his speed defying all logic. This time, he descended from above, his fists coated in raw power and slamming into the guardian's massive shoulder.

The force drove the beast further back, its feet digging into the ground to regain its footing.

The guardian paused. Its head tilted slightly as its aura darkened and sharpened, growing heavier with malice and purpose. A low, guttural sound—a laugh, perhaps—escaped it. Pyris narrowed his eyes.

"So you can feel pressure after all, and that was for my woman" Pyris sneered, but he tensed as the guardian dropped its massive gauntlets to the ground with a resounding clang.

The beast's raw fists curled tightly showing off it's knuckles, dark energy swirled violently around them. With speed that betrayed its size, the guardian closed the distance between them in a single, thunderous step.

Its first punch came at Pyris like a cannonball. Pyris, lightning coursing through his veins, darted to the side at superhuman speed, the dark energy narrowly missing him. The force of the punch alone sent a massive crater splintering into the ground where he'd stood moments ago.

He had dodged the first attack, the guardian's burning eyes flicked in surprise in that instance, no one had ever dodged it given it's explosive speed!

It didn't give him time to rest though!

The second attack came swiftly, a horizontal swing meant to obliterate him. Again, Pyris sidestepped, vanishing in a streak of light.

But the third attack—there was no evading it. The guardian's fist, cloaked in an overwhelming wave of ominous energy, moved faster than Pyris anticipated. It slammed directly into his chest with the force of a collapsing mountain.

Pyris' body was flung like a broken doll, careening through the air before smashing into a rocky outcrop. He hit the ground hard, blood splattering from his mouth as he coughed violently. His chest heaved, his body trembling as the sheer power of the attack left him gasping for air.

For a moment, it felt as though the life had been ripped from his lungs.

The others watched in stunned silence, their breaths caught in their throats. Seren clutched her dress tightly, ready to intervene, but Zara placed a steadying hand on her shoulder.

"He's not done," Zara muttered, her sharp eyes never leaving Pyris.

True to her words, Pyris stirred. He pressed his palms against the ground and pushed himself up, his knees trembling slightly but steadying as he rose. Blood dripped from the corner of his lips, but his gaze was fierce, unwavering.

Golden Dragon energy surged around him as he also tapped into his life force.

The wounds across his body knitted together with rapid efficiency, and his breathing stabilized. He rolled his shoulders, cracking his neck as he prepared for the next round.

The guardian watched him carefully, its head tilting ever so slightly.

Then, it nodded—a subtle gesture that Pyris understood all too well. The monster was acknowledging him, recognizing him as a worthy adversary.

Pyris wiped the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand, his smirk returning. "Alright then, big guy. Round two."

He tightened his grip on his power, electricity arcing across his hands as the earth beneath him began to tremble once more.

But this time, Pyris knew better than to rely on brute force. The guardian had adapted, and so would he.

"I can't waste all my cards here," Pyris murmured to himself, his voice barely audible. He glanced at the unconscious Alera in the distance and clenched his fists.

This fight wasn't just about winning—it was about paving the way forward. Nysa couldn't fight in her current condition and her unique situation, which meant he had to carry the weight of their mission on his shoulders.

The guardian's stance shifted slightly, its dark energy condensing and growing heavier. Pyris could feel it—this was going to be a battle of wits and endurance. The guardian was a creature of adaptability, its every movement calculated to match its opponent's strength.

Pyris exhaled sharply, his mind racing as he strategized. He couldn't afford to reveal everything now. The guardian was still the first obstacle. There would be a third battle, and he needed to keep his aces hidden.

As he squared off against the monstrous foe, the chamber seemed to tremble in anticipation. The air was electric, charged with the promise of chaos and destruction.

This fight was far from over.
