Champion Of Lust: Gods Conquer's Harem Paradise!

Chapter 153: "Then this will be our empire, Princess!"

The familiar scent of oak and magic filled the air as Seraphina made her way through the sprawling corridors of Obsidian Tech's grand office building.

Her heart raced as she drew closer to the one door that held all her answers—Pyris Obsidian's private office.

It had been some time since that fateful night, a night that had started as a trap, meant to ensnare Pyris into her family's grand design.

Her father, the Emperor, had set the honey trap, thinking he could secure the Obsidian family by playing into Pyris's lust as a dragon. But what had started as a calculated scheme quickly shifted into something far more profound. Pyris, with his cunning mind and devastating charm, had not only outmaneuvered her father's plans but had captured Seraphina's heart in the process.

As she reached the door, Seraphina's thoughts ran wild. 'Is it that he's simply too busy running his empire, or...is he waiting for me to submit to him completely?'

The thought of submitting, becoming truly his, sent a shiver down her spine. But there was something else too—an ache, a longing she couldn't ignore. 'Has he left me hanging on purpose, testing me?'

Her hand hesitated at the door. For a princess as bold as Seraphina, hesitation wasn't a usual emotion.

But then again, Pyris had always made her feel things no one else could. His presence in her life had redefined what it meant to be desired, and that night... She smiled slightly. That night, he hadn't just won a game of politics—he had won her heart without doing much than esnare her.

He took a different path. Her fingers brushing the door's smooth surface.

But before she could knock, her shadow flickered. A faint movement in the air didn't get her attention a second later before disappearing—one of Pyris's silent watchers, always protecting and monitoring.

Pyris had never abandoned her, he was always watching her!

Inside the lavish office, Pyris stood near the window, hands clasped behind his back. He exuded the confidence of a man in control, and his golden eyes flickered with both warmth and intensity.

The office was an elegant mix of modern design and ancient Obsidian relics, reflecting the history and power of the family that bore his name.

Pyris marveled at the sudden presence beyond his office door. He could sense her, feel her regal essence even before she stepped inside.

Seraphina. Her beauty was unparalleled, but it was the commanding aura that came with her royal bloodline that made him catch his breath. She wasn't just any woman; she was the Dragon Princess of the empire, and for a time, she had been a pawn in her father's game to control him.

Yet now, she was so much more.

[She's finally come... right as we expect her mother's impending visit,] Lia, the spirit within Pyris, commented in his mind. Pyris couldn't help but agree. Timing was everything.

As he stood there, waiting for her to walk through the door, his gaze briefly shifted to his two personal assistants. Lizzie and Suzie were diligently organizing his paperwork, but both of them sensed the tension in the air.

Lizzie, her sharp mind always attuned to the subtleties in the room, gave Pyris a knowing glance. Suzie, on the other hand, tried to continue her work but couldn't help fidgeting with anticipation and perhaps jealous.

Both women had been loyal to Pyris, but the arrival of Seraphina stirred something deeper, something unsaid.

Aurelia was at the far back.

Then, the door opened.

Seraphina stepped into the office, her presence commanding the space like a queen entering her throne room. Her eyes, a sharp yet warm shade of violet, locked onto Pyris's immediately.

The world seemed to stop in that moment. There were no words spoken, just the deep, unspoken understanding between two people who had shared something extraordinary.

Pyris smiled—a slow, knowing smile that held a promise. "Princess Seraphina," he said softly, his voice a velvet mix of strength and charm.

Her lips quirked into a small smile, but there was tension in her shoulders. "Pyris," she replied, her voice steady, but betraying the slight tremble she felt within.

The last time they had met, things had shifted dramatically, and yet, here they were again, drawn together by forces beyond their control.

From across the room, Aurelia, Pyris's sister, stepped forward, her presence no less imposing. Her dark eyes flickered between Seraphina and Pyris, a knowing look on her face. 'So, the princess finally arrived', Aurelia thought to herself, but her smile betrayed no emotion.

Instead, she simply nodded at Seraphina as a form of acknowledgment as if she hadn't just teased her minutes ago.

'This will be interesting.'

Lizzie and Suzie, both silent witnesses, exchanged glances but kept their thoughts to themselves. It was not their place to intervene.

Pyris, taking a step closer to Seraphina, reached out, and without hesitation, she took his hand.

That simple act—so small yet so intimate—sent a ripple through the room. He pulled her gently toward him, their eyes never leaving each other.

"You've come," Pyris whispered, his voice laced with affection.

There was a spark of satisfaction in his words; he knew what this meant. Seraphina had come to him—not as a political tool, but as someone who wanted to be by his side.

"Did you think I wouldn't?" Seraphina countered, raising her chin, but her lips betrayed her confidence. She smiled, feeling the warmth radiate from Pyris's hand to hers.

The tension dissolved, and without breaking eye contact, Pyris leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to her hand. "You always were mine."

Later that evening, Pyris and Seraphina stepped into the most exclusive restaurant in the city, a place reserved only for the elite of the elite.

The moment they entered, whispers followed them—every head turned in their direction. A prince of the most powerful business empire in the realm, and the Dragon Princess of the empire itself, united in what appeared to be more than just a business meeting.

Their table was private, overlooking the glowing skyline of the city. Candlelight flickered between them, casting warm shadows across their faces.

The ambiance was luxurious, and the wine in their glasses sparkled like liquid gold.

But despite the opulence, there was a deeper conversation unfolding beneath the surface.

"Pyris," Seraphina began, her voice soft as she traced the rim of her glass, "you know why I'm here, don't you?"

Pyris leaned back, eyes fixed on her, taking a sip of his drink. "I do. But I want to hear you say it."

Seraphina exhaled, her gaze meeting his. "It's time. I know my father sent me to bind you to the imperial family... but I've made my choice. I'm not here for him. I'm here for you."

Pyris's eyes softened, and for the first time in a long while, he allowed himself to relax. The pieces were finally falling into place. "Then we'll make this our empire, together."

And as the night deepened, so did their bond.

The night was still young though, wasn't it?
