Celestial Bloodline

Chapter 829 Natural laws I

829  Natural laws I

While Jian and Bia were unleashing chaos outside, Kyle plunged deeper into the sea. His body moved nimbly, slicing through the still water as he covered more and more distance with each passing second.

His cold skin felt as if it were being flayed alive, as if countless ants were mercilessly gnawing at every inch of his body.

Yet, he felt no blood or injuries, so he pressed on. Deeper and deeper.

With each passing moment, the pain intensified, becoming a monstrous beast gnawing at his very being. Suddenly, the once-still water transformed into currents that threatened to swallow him.

His eyelids grew heavy, as if they were weighted down by the depths themselves. He could breathe underwater, but the agony surged through him like a tidal wave. The pressure around him increased, squeezing his chest as if the Sea of Consciousness itself sought to crush his spirit.

'Here I thought... my body could endure anything now that I am a Celestial.'

He let out a strained, cynical laugh as he looked back and saw the water's surface, only to cough up blood in the process.

It felt as though he had been descending for an eternity, but in truth, he hadn't even traveled a significant distance. He could still see the clear sky above the water.

Shadows danced in the periphery of his vision, twisting and turning.

Every instinct screamed at him to turn back, and the water around him seemed to wrap around him like a vice grip. He knew he couldn't advance any further than this.

'Only for now...'

He whispered internally calmly, his green eyes glowing in the depths. His mind was giving up, but his will refused to falter.

Nature. Yes, nature surrounded him, gripping him tightly. He could feel so much of it, more than he ever had. He had never been so close to nature before.

Amidst the chaotic splatters of blood distorting his vision and mind, he instinctively clung to every sensation, even the faintest whisper of it, as if his very existence depended on that fragile, faint connection he felt with the many natural laws surrounding him from all directions.

Each heartbeat echoed in his ears, intensifying the urgency of the moment and driving him to desperately grasp the nature surrounding him. He couldn't move, but he could feel his knowledge increasing with each passing second, slowly but surely.

If it were another individual, even if they were the strongest supreme rank, they would have already lost their mind. Perhaps even those who had reached the Celestial rank would have given up at this point, feeling such overwhelming pain. But he didn't.

The first law he sensed was familiar—very familiar. His Celestial essence resonated with it: the natural law of Ice and Cold.

It was a power that completely ruled that specific domain, granting him the ability to manipulate this natural element without any type of skills or spells, merely through his thoughts. He could summon snowfall and even control the temperature around him.

He thought the next natural laws would be time, space, gravity, and wind. Since he had already comprehended a lot about them, he could easily advance further in them.

However, the next law he grasped was remarkably simple: the law of earth. His eyes cleared up a little. It granted him the power to manipulate any type of earth that lay before him or existed in his vicinity.

Next came fire, allowing him to control all forms of flame, regardless of their nature. Then there was thunder. It felt as if he were learning to manipulate each small element of nature, without skills or spells, merely through the power of his thoughts.

The water appeared to part for him, as if recognizing his burgeoning advancement. The pressure of the depths that enveloped him like a vice grip faded slightly, allowing his body to descend deeper into the abyss.

Kyle could feel the pulse of the water, a sound resonating with his own. Water... yes, water is also a natural element. His mind supplied amid the haze, and he grasped yet another law: the true power to conjure mist, create rivers, and even call forth storms.

After water, his understanding of the natural laws of wind and gravity deepened. With these laws, he felt as if he could shape the world in ways he had never imagined. It was as if he were finally becoming a true Celestial, one who ruled over nature.

His body sank deeper into the water. With each passing second, the currents grew increasingly chaotic, wrapping around him like a shroud, and the pain transformed into a symphony of anguish. Ultimately, every inch of his body began to bleed.

It was at that moment he sensed two powerful and dark natural laws swirling around him: the natural laws of Darkness and Shadow. Yet, he couldn't grasp them.

Kyle wanted to understand every law in the Sea of Consciousness, even the dark ones. However, he had never wielded or absorbed dark energy or anything remotely related to it, which made them difficult to decipher.

He needed to learn to manipulate them without involving dark energy... His eyes trembled as a thought emerged in his hazy mind: Isn't Darkness also a part of nature?

He wouldn't sell himself to the darkness, nor would he let it consume him. He would simply reach out to manipulate the natural laws, and when he finally grasped the dark laws, his green eyes transformed into pitch black for a few seconds, and his body plummeted deeper.

Then, at last, he felt the familiar presence of the natural law of space enveloping him.

As his understanding of the law of space expanded, his back collided with the bed of stones with a thud, causing large ripples to spread in all directions. He had reached the deepest part of the Sea of Consciousness.

In that fleeting moment of impact, he finally perceived the natural law of time. It was the final natural law he could sense in the Sea, pulsating with raw energy. It seemed time was the most powerful of all the laws.

As he comprehended the law of time more deeply, his consciousness, which had been clinging desperately, faded into darkness.
