Brothel Manager : Unexpected Encounter with A Hidden Family Heirloom
Chapter 506: Battle Between Two Sorcery Women
Das stumbled into his tent, his body exhausted from the battle. The moment he stepped inside, he tore off his bloodied upper clothes and tossed them to the side, barely managing to drag himself to the bed.
He ignored the pain that shot through his muscles with every movement, burying himself under the blanket as if hoping it could hide the wounds and exhaustion that clung to him. His chest heaved as he took in deep, uneven breaths, his mind racing from the day's events.
The silence inside the tent was broken by the hurried footsteps of Kavi. She pushed her way inside, clutching a first aid kit tightly to her chest. Her eyes flickered to Das lying under the blanket, and without a word, she kneeled beside the bed, pulling out a cotton swab and antiseptic. Gently, she began cleaning the wounds that marred his body, careful not to disturb him too much.
Das stirred as the cold touch of the swab hit his skin. Slowly, he opened his eyes and stared at Kavi. For a moment, neither of them spoke. The tent was filled only with the sound of her tending to his wounds.
"So, this is your plan? Saving the princess just to get her trust and attention?" Kavi finally broke the silence, her voice quiet.
Das didn't flinch. He took a deep breath, his voice steady despite the pain coursing through him. "The task is half done. But after what happened today, I'm confident. The plan will work soon enough." He replied, closing his eyes again.
Kavi paused, her hand trembling for a moment before she steadied herself. Her eyes softened, a hint of something she wasn't ready to admit flickering across her face.
"I see," she whispered, continuing to treat his wounds. Unknowingly, her eyes turned moist. She had seen Das resting all day in a tent without caring about a single thing, but today had been different. Today, he had risked everything.

Hours later, as the night deepened and most of the camp had fallen into uneasy sleep, Princess Amara finally stirred. The doctors crowded around her as she sat up, her strength returning enough for her to stand on her own.
Despite the lingering pain and the exhaustion that threatened to pull her back down, her mind was consumed by a single thought.
"What is the condition of Das?" She asked urgently, her voice hoarse.
The doctors exchanged puzzled looks. "Princess, your condition is still fragile," one of them started, but Amara waved him off impatiently.
"No, not me. I want to know about Das!" Her voice grew louder, a hint of desperation creeping into her words.
The head doctor hesitated, his eyes flickering nervously. "Princess, we... we were only ordered to treat the royal family, and Das is... just a commander."
Before the doctor could finish, Amara's face twisted in fury. "Just a commander?" she shouted, her voice shaking the very air in the tent. "What happened to your brains? If not for him, I would be dead right now! Dead! Go—go now and treat his wounds.
I want him fully healed by morning, do you understand?"
Her voice echoed through the tent as the doctors scrambled to obey her commands, their faces pale with fear. None of them dared argue further. They knew that without Das, the princess wouldn't be standing here at all.
But to their bad luck, Das is happily sleeping inside and he didn't let the doctors touch his skin. Feared by his anger, they ran away without looking back.

Meanwhile, across the battlefield in the Taurus family camp, tension filled the camp. The patriarch, Ryon, had called an urgent meeting with his commanders, their faces grim as they gathered around the large war table.
The losses they had faced today were incalculable. Soldiers who had once fought with pride and bravery now cowered in fear, broken by a single man. This one single day wiped more soldiers than all days of war.
"Fools! All of you!" Aries family patriarch Thomas roared, his voice reverberating off the walls. He slammed his fist on the table, his eyes wild with rage. "You let one man—one man—crush our forces like they were nothing! What kind of commanders are you? Where is your pride?
Your honor?"
The commanders, their heads hung low, bore the brunt of the patriarch's fury in silence. None dared speak, none dared defend themselves.
Just as Thomas's insults reached its peak, Ryon, the patriarch of the Taurus family, raised his hand. "Enough, Thomas, We must regroup and focus on tomorrow's battle. Let's not waste time on insults."
He turned to the commanders, his expression stern but composed. "Conduct motivation training for the soldiers tonight. They've lost their will to fight, and we need them prepared for what's to come."
As the commanders hurried to carry out Ryon's orders, his daughter, Mona, slipped away. She needed answers. She headed straight to the tent where her mother, Maya, was deep in ritual, trying to uncover the reasons for the missteps in their battle strategy.
Maya's hands moved in intricate patterns, her face tense with concentration as she invoked the sorcery to reveal the truth.
"Mother," Mona called softly as she entered the tent.
Maya looked up, her eyes burning with frustration. "I was wrong today," she admitted, her voice tight. "I didn't foresee that young man... that Das. I misjudged the entire situation, and because of it, our forces were crushed. He wasn't supposed to be the one to turn the tide."
Mona, her heart still racing from the sight of Das in battle, nodded. "He... he's not just any man. He promised to stay on my side. I never expected him to behave like this. He's...
something else."
Far away from the patriarchs and commanders, deep within the servants' division, a servant girl carried a bowl of food through the quiet camp. She walked carefully, her steps light as she approached the last of the servants' tents. Glancing around to ensure no one was watching, she pushed aside the flap and slipped inside.
Inside, Thea, the blind sister of Eden, sat in deep concentration, performing her own ritual. She was the one who had been responsible for Maya's wrong predictions, her mystical abilities unknowingly interfering with the Taurus family's plans.
The servant girl placed the bowl of food carefully on the table beside Thea and then quietly slipped away, leaving Thea to her work.
