Beneath the luminous glow of the moon, Eden and Das found themselves seated near the tranquil shoreline. The waves gently lapped at their feet, as if tenderly embracing their presence in nature's grand theatre. A campfire crackled behind them, casting a warm glow that danced with the soft moonlight.
In this serene setting, Eden's heartbeat is with unspoken emotion, a secret crush she carried for Das. Her eyes wandered to him, admiring his resolute demeanour and his noble spirit. Meanwhile, Das sat there, seemingly lost in his own contemplations, his mind enigmatic and inscrutable.
The waves continued their eternal dance, whispering tales of the sea's vastness and the mysteries it held. As the night sky shimmered with stars, Eden's feelings swayed with the ebb and flow of the tides.
Though the connection between them was strong, the unspoken depths of Eden's affection remained veiled. She hesitated to reveal the delicate yearning in her heart, unsure of how it would be received by Das, who seemed neutral in matters of the heart.
After a long silence, Eden answered his question. "Das, every Farus family member would be sent outside at the age of twelve and they must survive in the outside world without any support. If they can successfully survive until the age of twenty-four, they will become part of the family and will be awarded all kinds of benefits."
"But the main competition is that the persons who send crucial data to the Farus family while undergoing their training in the open world will become the main force of the core family. That is why the Farus family installs an undetectable bug inside their body for communication and to know their living status cum location."
Eden continued to explain all the details without giving him any chance to intervene. Usually, every member of the skull organisation answers with a single word. But now she is giving long explanations to his every single question.
"I never thought the Farus family is this strict. Good for them. At least they are not going to produce headstrong idiots." Das commented while staring at the glimmering waves.
The conversation flowed as Das asked more questions about the business types and shelters of the all hidden families.
"Eden, is the Aries family the current Richest hidden family in the world? I think after merging the Leo family's wealth, it is obvious that the Aries family is swimming in gold." Das asked while thinking about Stella whose identity is still not verified.
"Nooo… Leo family is not that simple. Even though the Aries family wiped out the Leo family through an act of betrayal, they only got ten percent of the Leo family's wealth." Eden said with a straight face.
"Ohh… then what happened to the remaining wealth?" Das asked curiously after turning his gaze towards Eden who is also staring back at him.
Eden's heartfelt flustered after meeting his gaze. But calmed down her rushing heart before answering his question.
"No one got that money. If my guess is correct all that wealth must be lying in a storehouse." Eden answered with a confident smile.
"What do you mean?" Das asked with a confused look as he did not understand the meaning behind Eden's words.
"Unlike the all other hidden families who store their wealth in different locations for safety, Leo family stored their wealth inside one treasure house. Only the core family members of the Leo family know the location of that treasury."
"Not only that, the current patriarch and his children could only access that treasury. I don't whether it is true or false, but after a thorough research and collection of crucial information, I found that Leo family used a strand of their family heirloom spirit to guard the Leo family treasury." Eden answered in a doubtful tone.
"That's interesting. I never know we could separate the heirloom spirit energy to use for other purposes." Das said in a dazed state while thinking about the possibilities.
"Das, you are missing something here. The Leo spirit is the most loyal one. The Leo family never subdued the Lion spirit. It's the Lion spirit which supported the Leo family on its own. That is why it became a possibility for the Leo family to do that. That too my information is not accurate." Eden replied casually with a straight face.
A deep silence took place after she explained about the Leo family.
Under the enchanting moonlit embrace, Das finally broke the gentle silence, his voice carrying a mix of determination and uncertainty, "Eden, there's something I need to tell you."
A tinge of anticipation swept through Eden's heart, as she replied with a soft nod, inviting him to speak his mind.
"I've decided to bring Red Rose with me to Mumbai," Das confessed, his eyes searching for her reaction, "I trust her skills in handling security and gathering information for me." Das added.
Though she masked it well, Eden couldn't help but feel a slight pang inside. Suppressing her emotions, she offered, "If you think it's best, I can take her place."
Das reached out and gently touched her hand, "Eden, you are invaluable to the organisation and the island. Your presence here is irreplaceable."
A mix of affection and duty stirred within her, and she said, "I can entrust the island's management to one of my capable commanders."
Das smiled warmly, cherishing her dedication, "I know what you are thinking, Eden. But I believe keeping the skull organisation neutral is vital for our future endeavours."
Her heart fluttered, feeling deeply understood and appreciated, yet she composed herself, "As you wish. I'll do what's necessary to ensure our organisation remains strong."
After hearing her stuttering tone, Das moved closer to her and sat just beside her and their shoulders are touching each other.
With smooth action, Das picked up Eden from the side and let her sit on his thigh. Even though she did not understand what he is trying to do, she let him do whatever he wanted.
