In the underground base of the training centre, Das stood firm, his eyes fixed on Red Rose with a mix of curiosity and vulnerability. The room seemed to hold its breath as he asked the question that had been gnawing at him.
"What do you think about me as a man?" he inquired, his voice steady but tinged with apprehension. He needed to know, to understand the truth behind her actions and her feelings towards him.
Red Rose hesitated, her guarded facade cracking slightly under the weight of his direct question. She struggled to find the right words, torn between her duty as a commander and her concealed emotions.
Finally, she looked into his eyes, her gaze wavering with unspoken sentiments. "Das, you're a strong and capable warrior," she began, choosing her words carefully. "You are perfect man any girl could wish for."
"But..." she paused, searching for the right way to convey the emotions she had kept hidden for so long. "But you're more than just a skilled fighter," she continued, her voice softer now. "There's something about you, something that draws people in, including me."
Das did not waver because of fancy words. "And what is that 'something'?" he prodded, waiting for the crucial point.
Red Rose's lips quirked in a bittersweet smile, and she looked away briefly before meeting his gaze again.
"In my heart," she continued, her voice barely above a whisper, "you are more than just a man. Whenever, I saw you, my heart starts racing and I can't stand the presence of other girls around you. I know what it means. But don't ask me for more. I'm not a person suitable for you.
The air seemed to still as her words hung in the silence, revealing the vulnerability she had kept hidden for so long. Find exclusive content at My Virtual Library Empire
"Is that all you have to say?" Das asked with a straight face while staring into her eyes. Red Rose lifted her face and looked at his with a confused look. She did not understand what is he implying.
"That's not it. I'm the commander of the…" Das did not wait until she finish her sentence. He started walking out in a steady pace. His heavy steps resounded in that training hall. Red Rose thought of following him. But before that, Das said a sentence which caused her a great joy.
"Tomorrow I'm leaving this island. From now on you are personal security. Pack your bags and prepare the air jet." Das said loudly without turning back. By the time she realised the meaning of his full sentence, Das already left the training room.
When Das asked Red Rose to be his personal security, her heart skipped a beat. The rush of emotions was overwhelming, a mixture of surprise, joy, and disbelief. She couldn't believe he was entrusting her with such an important role, one that would bring them closer together.
Until now her feelings hidden behind a mask of professionalism as the commander of the Skull Organisation. She never thought that he would see her as more than just a skilled leader. But now, he was not only acknowledging her abilities but also offering her a position of intimacy and trust.
When he asked her to prepare a jet for their journey home, her heart fluttered with excitement. This was a chance for them to spend time together away from the weight of their responsibilities. The thought of being alone with Das, even in a professional capacity, sent a rush of warmth through her veins.
After leaving Red Rose, Das made his way towards the central tower of the brightly lit island, Skull Sanctum, he couldn't help but marvel at the majestic structure before him. The tower soared high into the sky, its dark, imposing architecture reaching for the heavens.
The Skull Sanctum tower was adorned with intricate carvings of skulls and ancient symbols, further adding to its enigmatic allure. Glowing runes traced across its surface, emanating an otherworldly aura that sent shivers down the spines of those who beheld it.
Upon entering the tower, Das ascended through floors adorned with priceless artifacts and powerful relics. Each level exuded an air of wisdom and secrecy, as if the tower itself held the collective knowledge of the ages.
Finally, he reached the top floor, a grand hall adorned with celestial motifs and exquisite tapestries. There, waiting to greet him, were the two sisters of the Skull Organisation - Eden, the head of the organisation, and her blind sister, whose unique gift granted her extraordinary perception beyond sight.
The blind lady, known for her premonitions and clairvoyance, stood serenely with an air of wisdom. Despite her lack of physical sight, her aura seemed to encompass the entire hall, as if she could perceive the world in ways beyond the ordinary.
As Das approached, the blind girl offered a knowing smile, her ethereal presence adding an aura of mystique to the encounter. "Welcome, Das," she said, her voice carrying a sense of profound insight. "We've been anticipating your arrival."
Das was taken aback, humbled by the realisation that she had sensed his approach even before he entered the hall. He could feel the weight of her unspoken wisdom, as if she already knew the purpose of his visit.
"Why do I feel like your sister's powers increased a bit? Last time she couldn't see my face. But this time she even guessed my arrival." Das asked with curious look before sitting on the sofa opposite to two sisters.
"Hahaha… It's all because of you, Das. After the interaction with the Aries spirit inside you, my sister's divination powers increased a lot. Now she is directly perceiving the things going to happen to her." Eden explained enthusiastically with a cheerful laughter unlike her strict behaviour as a commander of skull organisation.
"Ohh… it's really a good news. Actually, I also came here to tell you a good news." Das said with a mysterious smile.
