Billionaire's Contracted & Unloved Wife

Chapter 233

"No, no, we don't have to tell them, at least not now!" Eva whisper-yelled, holding Gregory's hand back from moving forward.

Gregory paused and looked ahead of them.

They were currently in Aiden's decorated living room. Ariel was having a cute baby shower with her swollen belly, and he thought since it was a party for unborn babies, he might as well tell them about his and Eva's, too.

"Why not?" He asked.

Eva shook her head. "It's not how it works; this is Ariel's party; we can tell them tomorrow or even after the party, but not just during the party, okay?" She explained.

"Oh... we'll be intruding?" He questioned.

Eva smiled, "Something like that."

"Ahem, congratulations, evil Eva, congratulations, Gregory, I'm happy for you both," Jeel fixed himself between them, his hand resting on their shoulders as he smirked.

Eva's eyes widened, "Jewel, un, thanks, but you don't have to say anything to anyone yet, okay?" She pleaded.

Gregory nodded, "She wants to keep it low first, well tell everyone later, especially, Ariel," He informed.

"Huh? But she... oh... okay, as you wish," He gave them a narrowed smile as he went toward Ariel, who was about to pop the balloon and reveal the genders of her babies.

Jess moved her head to the side and handed Ariel a small pin, smiling, "We have two balloons, which means twins; we all already know that, not, for a gender reveal, in three, two, one...Pop!" She clapped.

Ariel glanced at Auden beside her, "We'll do it together," She said.

Aiden nodded, he made Jace stand in the middle and placed his hand on Ariel's. Together, they popped the balloons, revealing the beautiful pink colors of the balloons.

"Yay! Daddy! Princesses!" Jace jumped up and down in joy and everyone clapped.

Aiden kissed Ariel, smiling, "I told you, Moma," He chuckled, hugging her gently and placing a hand over her baby bump.

Ariel laughed, "You did, Papi, we're having girls," She whispered.

"Congratulations, My dear, children," Grandma Nari approached them with Mr. Sloan beside her, each carrying a gift.

"Aww, thanks, Dad, thanks, Grandma," Ariel hugged them one after the other and let Aiden carry the huge boxes from them.

"Congratulations, my beautiful grandchild, you wouldn't think I'd miss it?" Mr. Dee appeared from behind Mr. Sloan.

"Grandpa!" Ariel excitedly ran up to him, hugging him, "I thought you said you were going on a trip?" She laughed.

"Well, here I am, and I got a present for you," He handed her a very small box.

Ariel opened the box and gasped, "A car?!" She laughed, showing the key to everyone.

Cheers, and loud congratulations were once again thrown at her.

"You're trying to outshine me, Dee, take a step back," Aiden cane and shook the old man.

"Then you better buckle up, 'cause you're in for some big, competitive ride," They laughed and hugged each other.

"Thanks, Dee, appreciate it," Aiden smiled.

Ariel suddenly cleared her throat, drawing everyone's attention to herself.

"Well, we've all gathered for my sake, but, it'll be boring to just be the only one celebrating," She paused and walked toward Eva.

Eva saw Ariel approaching her and looked up at Gregory, "Why's she coming to us?" She whispered.

"Well find out soon," Gregory kissed her cheek.

Ariel paused in front of Eva and held out her hand, "Come with me for a second," She smiled at her.

"Okay..." Eva smiled nervously and gave Ariel her hand.

Ariel led her back to the center of the living room, "Everyone already knows the ugly story of Eva and I... even Moon, sorry, Moon," She waved to Moon, who was smiling beside Viktor.

"But, we've all put them behind us. I've always wanted happiness for you, Eva, and I'm glad you found it in Gregory; he's a great man," She nodded at Gregory.

"I love you as a sister and a friend; these years with you have been full of ups and downs, and even though we came from a broken family, we somehow managed to find the true meaning of family with each other," She said quietly and wiped Eva's tears away.

"Since we're all celebrating babies, your baby is family too, he or she deserves to be celebrated, too. Everyone, Eva is expecting!" She announced.

Applause filled the air; Eva couldn't even hear the congratulations clearly because she was busy being shocked and surprised.

She hugged Ariel, "Ariel... oh my God, thank you very much; I didn't know how to tell everyone; I've been itching to, but I didn't want to ruin your day; I never knew you would call me out, how did you find out?" Eva asked, curious and surprised.

Ariel chuckled, "I think she might have been more excited than you about your pregnancy; she took me," She replied.

Eva chuckled, wiping her tears, "I don't mind," she chuckled.

"Wow!" Jess ran up to Eva and hugged her, "Congratulations, Eva, now I'm starting to think of having one, too. Is it a baby syndrome?" She asked with a mirth.

Ariel nodded, "Trust me, it is; you're not going to be able to resist it," she tapped Jess' shoulder.

"Fine then, that man over there has been pleading for one; maybe, it's time we start our own family, too," She giggled, glancing at Ken.

"That's beautiful," Ariel replied, pinching Jess' cheek.

"Eva, here, I got my niece or nephew a gift because I won't be available at your baby shower, Aiden says we're traveling to some excluded country to have the baby, so, here's a present for the future," She walked over to the table and leaned down to carry something from it.

"I've got it," Aiden whispered and helped her carry the box off the table.

"Thanks, darling," Ariel kissed Aiden and took the box from him.

She went back to Eva and gave it to her, "Open it," She said eagerly.

Eva's eyes were shining with curiosity as she looked over at Gregory.

Gregory went to her and carried the box from her while she unwrapped it.

The moment she took the lid off, she gasped and stepped back, covering her hand over her mouth as she stared unbelievably at Ariel.

"Go ahead, Ariel, take it out," Ariel encouraged.

Eva's eyes were brimming with unshed happy tears as she put her hands into the box and carried out miniature model home.

"No shit! She got you a house!" Jewel gasped from the sofa, causing everyone to laugh.

Eva ran to Ariel and hugged her tightly, "Oh, my God, Ariel! It's too much, you didn't have to, oh God..." Eva sobbed.

She'd seen the real house, it was huge and beautiful. She knew when Ariel was purchasing the house; she had even made her choose the colors and designs. When she asked Ariel why she was getting a new home, Ariel told her that it was a gift for a client; she never knew that Ariel was making her furnish her own home!

"It's okay, Eva, you and Gregory deserve it, and I want my niece or nephew to be welcomed into a new home; he or she deserves the best," Ariel pecked Eva's cheek and hugged her.

"Thank you, very much, but this gift is just so -"

"Give it here if you won't take it!" Jewel interrupted, smirking.

"Jewel! Please, don't mind him, Eva, he's just too happy about everything," Gideon explained, chuckling.

Eva laughed, "Thank you," She hugged Eva one last time.

"Thank you, Boss, Ariel. We appreciate it," Gregory said to them.

"You're welcome, Gregory. From now on, you don't have to follow me everywhere, you're now promoted to... what's it called, baby?" Aiden asked Ariel.

Ariel chuckled, "He's just trying to say that you'll be a second boss to all the bodyguards; from now on, they all answer to you. You're no longer required in fieldwork, just chill... and be a boss," She explained.

Gregory smiled widely, "Thank you, Boss," He bowed again to Aiden.

As the place got busy with chats and whispers, Jewel pulled Gideon to a corner.

"Hey, are you okay?" Gideon asked, worried.

"Yeah," Jewel sighed.

Gideon frowned, "So?" He narrowed his eyes.

"Um, are you happy?" Jewel asked.

Gideon chuckled, "Of course, baby, what's the problem?" He held Jewel's hand.

Jewel looked away from him, "Look around us, Gideon, everyone's happy, expecting a baby or planning to make one, even Moon and Viktor are planning to make more babies, and Logan and Lin went on a honeymoon last month, I'm sure Lin's gonna pregnant by the time she returns, but we're here, still trying to figure out what we are," He sadly look3e at Gideon.

Gideon frowned, pulling Jewel closer, "I'm not the confused one, baby; you're the one who's refused to acknowledge me as your boyfriend; why though? Do you think I'd break your heart even after months together?" He caressed Jewel's cheek.

Jewel blinked, "I don't want to hurt you, Gideon. You were a straight man, I'm scared you might feel pressured if you tell the world about us, I'm scared you might leave me, and I'm scared you might realize that you wanted a wife who could give you children in the end... I can't give you all these things everyone around us is having, Gideon, that's my fear," He confessed.

Gideon chuckled, "Fuck what anyone thinks about us. However, you know everyone already knows about us, and they love us, even if they didn't, it wouldn't change a thing. Love is love, Jewel; it doesn't matter the form it comes with, and you don't have to compare us to others; our journeys are different, and all that matters is that we're happy in the end. You make me happy, Jewel, I love you, and nothing's gonna change that," he kissed his forehead.

Jewel smiled, "I love you, too, Gideon," He bit his lips.

"You don't have to worry about children, even straight couples use surrogates, we can, if we need to. Now," He stepped back and put his hand in his pocket, getting one knee.

Everyone immediately sighted them and turned to watch them.

"I'm not missing this," Jess ran forward and set her camera on them.

Jewel smiled nervously, "Gideon, babe, what are doing?" He asked, his voice tensed and shaky.

Gideon opened the small black box in his hand and exposed the glittering ring in it.

Jewel gasped, tearing up, "Babe..." He chuckled and cried at the same time.

Gideon took his hand, and smiled up at him, "I love you, Jewel. You make me the happiest I've ever been. You annoy the life out of me but it only makes me love you more..."

They laughed and cheered.

"Please, give me the privilege of being your partner for the rest of our lives. Will you marry me?" Gideon asked softly, his eyes shining with love.

Jewel looked around the room and saw all their friends staring at them with hope and love. Truly, everyone loved them, so why wouldn't love Gideon?

"Yes! Yes, baby, I'll marry you!" He laughed and let Gideon fix the ring on his finger.

Gideon stood and kissed him passionately.

"Yay! Whoo!" Eva shouted, clapping loudly.

"Phenomenal!" Jess cheered, smiling as she recorded the kissing couple.

"Congratulations, Jewel and Gideon!" Ariel shouted as Gudeon led Jewel back to their seat.

"Thank you, Ariel, without you, I wouldn't have met this amazing human," Gudeon kissed Jewel's cheek.

Ariel laughed, hooking her arm around Aiden's.

"It's all fate, my dear friends," She went and hugged them.

"Let's make a toast," Aiden lifted a wineglass, "To our journey so far as friends and family, to our struggles, to our achievements, and to our future. Thank you, everyone, for being a huge and important part of our life," He said loudly.

Everyone clapped, even Jace and Candy jumped up and down due to the happy atmosphere.

Joy was distinct in their faces, they've come so far.

"Thank you for loving me, Aiden," Ariel whispered to him.

Aiden kissed her lips, placing his forehead on hers, "Thank you for teaching me how to love and for letting me love you, Moma. I love you," He kissed her again and they all cheered on, celebrating their journey of love.
