BEYOND THE EXOSPHERE

Vlares was able to build his laboratory from the great fortune he amassed from selling the Zhilak to different aliens. 

Sallie suspiciously asks, "How were you able to find us as at the exact moment when we were in danger?".

Vlares explains,"I monitor our planet's (Echoflux-2) atmosphere to protect it from any extraterrestrial attacks. I heard a distress signal from a ship matching your vessel's description. I tracked the signal to where your spaceship crashed and saw two female figures in danger from a distance."

Vlares takes the two girls to a lower block of the laboratory. "My science crew has just retrieved your damaged ship from its crash site. It turns out your ship's Trans-Dimensional hyperdrive was completely destroyed when you crash landed here," he explains to them. "It will take a while before it can be replaced. 

By the way, why did both of you come here in the first place?" Vlares asks. 

Sallie began to explain the story of how she met Jexter, her dead mother, and their mission to Floria. As she spoke, she couldn't help but notice the way Vlares looked at her, his eyes filled with a spark of attraction. He listened with his full focus and attention on her.

Jexter, however, remained silent, her anger and hurt still simmering. Vlares seemed interested in Sallie as he had never seen a human before. He asked her, "What powers or skills does your species possess?". She replies, "Well I am super good at Math, I play chess well and I am a master at tennis." Vlares didn't realize what math, chess or tennis meant but pretends to. He continues further with his questions, "I meant what powers do you possess for self defense?" Sallie remained quiet, unable to answer his questions. Vlares expresses his surprise, "Don't tell me you humans are born without super powers?".

Jexter interrupts, "They aren't, but at least Sallie isn't heartless and evil like you are!!!!" It becomes evident that Jexter is still angry with Vlares after all this while. 

Vlares takes the opportunity to explain his past actions to Sallie. "I was blinded by my ambition, Sallie. I wanted to harness the power of the Zhilak for my own gain, but I realize now that my actions were wrong."

Jexter opposed, "People don't just change like that Sallie. I was played like a fool by him and that is still hurting me pretty bad."

 Sallie contributes, "I don't know much about you Vlares like Jexter does, but if you really want to prove to her that you have changed, you can do more than just fix our ship for us. I want you to teach me self defense. Weapons….fighting skills…..anything. This will help Jexter and I on our mission to Floria in case we encounter more danger. I can't keep relying on her ice powers all the time."

Vlares' eyes lit up with a hint of excitement as he considered Sallie's request. "As far as fighting go, I am not equipped…but weapons??Yeah," he said with a look of certainty spreading across his face.

He takes both of the girls to another section of the lab and offers Sallie a weapon. 

"This is a Sonic cannon. It mimics the Sonic scream power of my species. It blast deadly Sonic waves at enemies loud enough to shatter well almost anything. Even better, its size can be shrunk to fit on your palm like a wrist watch." Vlares continues to demonstrate how the Sonic cannon operated to Sallie. 

"Wow, that's so cool. Can I keep it?", Sallie asks. Vlares replies, "Sure you can . I'm glad I can help."

Jexter watches their conversation from behind, still silently consumed by anger. She decides to speak, "I know the only reason why you're helping us is to eliminate your guilt. Whatever you do, it won't change the fact that you've put my planet in danger."

Finally, after hours of the repair, the spaceship was ready. It's spaceship's Trans-dimensional Hyperdrive had been completely fixed. As Sallie and Jexter are about to leave the planet, Vlares expresses his grief, "I don't expect forgiveness, Jexter. But I hope that one day you'll see that I've changed." 

Jexter fails to say a word indicating that she will never forgive him. With a heavy heart, Sallie and Jexter bid farewell to Vlares and depart from Echoflux-2, heading towards Floria.

As they soared through the galaxy, they marveled at the breathtaking view unfolding before them. Days turned into a week as they journeyed through the vast expanse of space, encountering asteroid fields. Sallie and Jexter grew closer, bonding over their shared experiences and adventures.

Finally, after nearly 10 days of travel, they reached the edge of the Milky Way galaxy and crossed into the Andromeda Galaxy, where Floria was located.

After spending days in the Andromeda Galaxy, the duo finally arrive on Floria. It was a beautiful green planet deeming with life. As they explored the planet's atmosphere, they were immediately struck by the breathtaking beauty of Floria. The planet's lush green forests, rolling hills, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers. This created a pictured landscape that was much similar to earth, except that it had more vegetation and plant like inhabitants (Florians) instead of humans. 

After hours of soaring though the sky, Sallie and Jexter finally arrived at the Tree of Life. It was the heart of the planet located at its center.
