POV Rio

I was doing another Trial today as I wanted to do some training and I wanted to get a lot of new things to sell to the System. As well as doing some experiments with the Earth Plate. So for those reasons, I chose to do the Highschool Of The Dead Trial. All the preparations were complete and all that was left was to start.

'System enter the Highschool Of The Dead Trial.'

I disappear in a flash of light and appear in what looks like a city. I don't hesitate and use Amegedon Good to summon a single Level 120 Archangel.

Archangel: "What is required of me, O' Creator?"

Rio: "For now save any good Karma humans you can find. I am needed elsewhere."

I take flight as the Archangel ignites a flaming sword and flies through the city. I arrive where the main protagonist lives in this Universe. I see a teacher foolishly open the gate to the Zombie but I wait for them to get hurt before stepping in. Once they are hurt I close the gate and cure those who are bitten. I examine the Zombie teacher to try and understand what kind of Zombie I am dealing with.

Kyoko: "Who or what are you and what have you done?"

I pause and look at the teacher who asked me the question.

Rio: "I am Rio Magus, I am an Alicorn and I just saved this entire school. Now I suggest you get back inside the building. It seems like the entire world has fallen and Japan is one of the last remaining countries on Earth. Not for long mind you. Now if you excuse me I need to study this creature."

Shido: "Now why would we listen to a freak like you? You must be hiding something. Or you are some government science experiment."

I look at him and can tell that he is quite a sinful man.

Rio: "Your sins are great now face your penance."

I look at him and silently call down a ray of Holy Light. He is vaporized and I go back to studying the corpse. What I can tell is that it isn't a magic undead but rather some sort of virus that controls the Brain Stem.

'I might be able to edit the Judgement Day Ritual to target the infected but it will take time. In the meantime, I should summon more Angels to try and save as many humans as I can.'

I summon a few hundred Principalities and any other Angels that I can summon. After I get around 1000 of them I send them to help the humans. While I was doing this the humans in the school saw it all and I saw some of them get on their knees and start praying. I just raise my eyes and ignore them. I gather several corpses to study and make a simple wooden house with Wood Release.

2 Days Later...

'That should do it now to test it out.'

I teleport to a nearby field and cast the ritual. The Archangel is next to me to make sure I am protected while the Ritual is cast. Once it is done I release it and then check to make sure it did its job. A few seconds later I feel around 7 Billion Corpses enter my inventory.

'Okay, I cannot see or detect any more Zombies. That should have done it. A shame so few Humans are left but there isn't anything I can do about that.'

I don't return to the school but instead use the normal Judgement Day Ritual. Once it is cast I get another 60 Million corpses. Which disappoints me.

'That is way too many. What the heck is wrong with these humans? Did I make a mistake with the Ritual?'

I go over the ritual and the souls I received but what I find confirms I did it right.

'Well as unfortunate as that is I have now completed the first 2 objectives. I just need to go clean up the planet from all the mess humanity left behind. Ugh, this is going to take a while.'

Rio: "Watch over humanity while I am gone."

Archangel: "By your command, O' Creator."

I fly up and start my from Japan and move West.

4 Months Later...

'Okay, that should be the last thing. I got a lot of stuff but I should let the remaining humans have the cultural artifacts.'

During my journey across the world, I managed to collect a few remaining surviving humans. There were only around 100k or so survivors. A lot of them were doomsday preppers or just some very lucky people. I did a lot during this time. I gathered the Nukes, Viruses, Fossil Fuels, Chemical and Industrial Waste, Livestock, and Nuclear Reactors. I also broke down all the cities in the world. As they would collapse and pollute the environment. The next part was tricky but I knew I needed to practice this at least once. I grabbed the Earth Plate.

'Okay, I can do this.'

I use my complete focus and start moving the continents while not causing any damage to Japan where all the humans are currently living. It took several weeks of trial and error but eventually, I managed to make Pangea. Once that is done I fuse all the Continents together so that Earthquakes and Volcanos stop being a problem. This should also stop Tsunamis. Once that is done I take a long nap and then return to the city where the majority of humans have settled.

Dominion: "Creator you have returned. Is there anything you need?"

Rio: "How is humanity doing?"

Dominion: "They are adapting as they always do. The leaders of the humans have asked to meet with you."

Rio: "Then I shall meet them. Tell them to set a time and I will be there."

The Dominion flies off while I start making a large area for some farms and livestock. After doing a lot of work I sense a group of humans approaching. I turn around and I notice several humans I rescued from the other continents.

Sergei: "Rio, it is good to see you again."

Rio: "Likewise Sergei. And I see Samantha is here as well. I don't know the third member of your group."

Souichiro: "I am Souichiro Takagi it is good to finally meet the ones the Angels sing songs about."

Rio: "Sigh. Sorry that they do that. I have tried to stop them before but then they get really sad. So I decided to let them do as they please."

Sergei: "Hahaha, I especially like the song about you fighting the devil from the moon."

I shake my head at his boisterous personality.

Souichiro: "Ehem, yes well I have asked to meet you to ask what you intend on doing."

Rio: "You are the last humans on Earth so once you are all set up I will be leaving to return to my home. I will likely never return but I was going to offer anyone that wants to join me to come with. However, they will have to understand that where I come from is far more dangerous than this relatively peaceful universe. But before I leave I will leave a Dominion Authority and Night Lich to watch over you species long after I am gone. I will also give immortality to one who proves themselves worthy of the gift."

Samantha: "When will you be leaving."

I sense her fear and worry so I give her a comforting smile.

Rio: "I will leave in around 8 or so months. Please know that I can't stay. I have a family to return to. My daughter will be going to school soon. I can't miss her first day. And with the Night Lich and Dominion Authority I leave behind you will be very safe."

After some discussions, I go back to my work. I also set up a massive Museum with all the Historic and Cultural artifacts I recovered. During the following 8 Months, I also cleaned up the Atmosphere with the Sky Plate and set up an Arc Reactor facility that can power all their needs for the next million years. In total, there were only around 30 Million humans left which led them to be far more involved in fixing their world. I gave them a map of the planet now that I changed it. I cleared out the orbit of the planet of junk as well and then I sold everything gained from the planet. I got 750 Million System Points from everything. Which is pretty good considering that I scrapped the entire planet but didn't get a single magic item. I also got 100 Million new citizens. Just not humans.

'Still impressed that those humans managed to nearly destroy the entire world in such a small amount of time.'

I told everyone what caused the apocalypse and they were not very happy. It was caused by a group of people that wanted to rule the world. The organization had lots of control but was slowly losing power as the new governments of the world were trying to get rid of them. It explained why I got so many fallen souls from the ritual. Providence as they called themselves had many followers and believers. They wanted to destroy the current world order and build anew from the ashes. The Virus they made was useless after a year. As all the infected would decay and no longer rise. There was also no cure after someone turned as they completely died.

'Too bad I only got 6 people to come with me. At least one of them is a great physician. I can send them to work with Orochimaru. As he requested more researchers.'

After I explained the dangers of the Universe I came from few wanted to come with me. Mostly because they wanted to help rebuild society on their homeworld. Others because they didn't want to hinder my 'great crusade'. Yeah, it turns out some of the survivors have made a religion about me. I tried stopping them but the Angels assisted them and made things worse. Now they worship me but not in front of me. Needless to say, I wanted away from them as some of them were creeping me out.

'I am pretty sure I saw one of them making a Helga-esque Shrine.'

The people who decided to join me were Rika Minami, Saeko Busujima, Shizuka Marikawa, Kohta Hirano, Asami Nakaoka, and Kyoko Hayashi. Saeko joined because of potential fighting and because she felt she didn't belong in the new society. Kohta joined because he wanted to be a super soldier and see the weapons of a different universe. Asami joined because she is in a relationship with Kohta. Rika wanted to repay her debt to me and use her skills for something greater. Shizuka wanted to stay with Rika and she thought she could help. Kyoko joined supposedly to thank me for saving her but I was suspicious of it. She had been seen with those cultists a few times so I was a bit hesitant about bringing her but I didn't sense any ill intent towards me so I let her come.

Rio: "Okay this will likely be the last time you see this world other than in your dreams so if you have any last things to do or some second thoughts now is the time to do it."

None of them have any hesitation so I open the Suitcase for them to enter and I say my goodbyes to the people and make sure that the Dominion and Night Lich will not despawn. Once that is all confirmed I leave the trial.

Authors Note:

A quick trial as there was nothing that could threaten Rio and this trial was more of a Hyperbolic Training Chamber for him. Rio got some new members but I thought about it and felt that not many would take the offer once they heard all the downsides and dangers of the MCU. That and people would feel obligated to help the remaining parts of humanity rather than leave it all behind. As such I figured only a few would come with Rio. I originally only felt like 3 people would come but it soon doubled after some thought. Until next time Ciao.
