"Who's pretending? I really didn’t plan to marry him," Suishen Yao pouted.

Eminent Jiguang looked at her with disdain and said, "Still pretending?"

"I’m not!" Suishen Yao grit her teeth and said with a bitter face, "Auntie, is there any way to just let him return without marrying him?"

"Of course not! Your grandfather’s intention is to fully integrate him into House Suishen so we can use him in the future. That requires someone with the Suishen Clan’s core bloodline to marry him. If it isn’t you, should I marry him?" Eminent Jiguang asked with a laugh.

"Then you should marry him! You were so eager last time, demonstrating for an entire month when it only needed a day," Suishen Yao said.

"You still say you don’t like him when you’re holding that grudge? You’re so good at being jealous," Eminent Jiguang said, pinching her mouth. "Alright, no more joking. When he comes back, just live a good life with him! The lovers are finally together and Yaoyao will become a happy bride."

"Fine!" Suishen Yao’s eyes sparkled as she joked, "Since there’s no other way, I’ll make a pact with Little Li. We’ll be married in name, but in essence, we’ll remain master and disciple. He absolutely can’t touch me! If he doesn’t agree, I’ll beat him up."

Eminent Jiguang couldn’t help but rub her forehead, exasperated. "You young people really know how to play. You aren’t even married yet, and you’re already planning the role-playing."
