Chapter 127: Tamer Division's Golden Complex
Lucius and Luna walked side by side toward the imposing gates of the Golden Complex in the Tamer Division.
They could see that there were two guards in front of them. They were now guarding the golden gate while holding sharp spears.
One of the guards stepped forward. He tightened his grip on his spear. "State your business. This is the Golden Complex. Unauthorized access is not permitted."
Lucius stopped in front of them and smirked. He clasped his hands behind his back. "I'm here to meet someone."
The second guard glanced at Luna and turned to Lucius. "This area is restricted to Golden Class tamers. If you have no business here, turn around."
Lucius chuckled. He then took out a sleek plaque from his spatial ring and showed it to the guards. The plaque was drawn with platinum insignia. "Does this answer your question?"
The guards were surprised. They glanced at the plaque and stiffened. They exchanged quick glances with each other before stepping back.

The first guard bowed down and stammered. "Forgive us. We didn't realize you were a Platinum student."
The second guard also bowed down quickly. He was now quite nervous. "Please accept our apologizes. Who would you like to meet? We'll summon them for you."
Lucius smirked and put his plaque back to his spatial ring. "Magnus Volcaria. Let him know that his beloved elder is calling for him."
The guard blinked and swallowed hard. Magnus Volcaria was infamous within the Golden Class. He was competitive, fearless and especially loud.
Even in his short time at Astra Academy, he had earned a reputation as someone who didn't back down from anyone or anything.
Few dared to challenge him outright, let alone call themselves his elder. The guard hesitated for only a moment before nodding quickly. "Yes, sir."
The first guard then retrieved a communication crystal from his belt. The crystal was linked directly to each Golden Residence, including Magnus's Golden Residence.
A few seconds later, Magnus' sharp voice rang out from the crystal. "What is it? Why are you calling me at this time of the day?"
The guard straightened. "Young Master Magnus. Someone who refers to himself as your 'beloved elder' is waiting for you at the gate."
There was a pause, and then Magnus's voice exploded from the crystal. "Who the hell dares to call themselves my elder?! Tell me who this is, right now!"
The guard flinched slightly. He glanced nervously at Lucius, who remained unfazed. "I-I don't know his name. But he's a Platinum student."
Magnus fell silent. Then his voice returned. But this time he was a bit suspicious. "A Platinum student? I didn't hear about any Platinum students coming to see me."
Before the guard could respond, another voice cut through the crystal. "Magnus, did you forget about me already? Or are you really so brave that you'd ignore your elder?"
Magnus froze. He recognized that voice instantly. He immediately frowned and clenched his fists. "Wait a minute, Elder. I'll be there in a moment."
Without waiting for a response, Magnus severed the connection and stormed out of his residence. He was not irritated anymore but scared. He didn't want to make his elder angry.
Back at the gate, the guard looked up at Lucius. He was confused by what was happening. "Just who are you, sir?"
Lucius didn't answer immediately. He turned toward the complex's entrance and smirked. "You'll find out soon enough."
Moments later, the gates swung open, and Magnus Volcaria appeared. He immediately looked around and soon found Lucius.
He hurriedly went forward. As he reached Lucius, he dropped to one knee with precision and bowed his head down. "Greetings, Elder Lucius. What brings you here today?"
Lucius smirked and clasped his hands behind his back as he looked down at Magnus. "I need to talk to you. Shall we continue this conversation at your Golden Residence?"
Magnus's head shot up. "Of course, Elder! You're welcome anytime, Elder Lucius."
He then quickly got to his feet and gestured toward the gates. "Please follow me. I'll lead the way."
Magnus turned around and began walking quickly. Lucius followed from behind, while Luna walked silently beside him and scanned their surroundings.
The guards who still stood at the gate exchanged baffled glances. One of them leaned toward the other, whispering under his breath. "Did he just kneel?"
The confused second guard nodded slowly. "Yeah, he is, but how can this happen? That's Magnus Volcaria. The most fearless, competitive, and loud student in the Golden Class. He doesn't bow to anyone."
His gaze was also fixed on Lucius' retreating figure. "Just who is this Platinum student?"
They stood there in silence for a moment before the first guard let out a low whistle. "Whoever he is, I'd hate to get on his bad side."
Meanwhile, the three of them arrived at Magnus's Golden Residence. Magnus walked ahead and opened the door. "Let's head in."
Lucius and Luna followed him inside. They began to scan the interior. It was quite the same as the one inside their own former Golden Residence.
Magnus turned to face Lucius as they stepped further in. He was a bit curious. "Elder, I have to admit, your visit caught me off guard. But still, what did you want to do with me?"
Lucius was about to reply to him, but Magnus suddenly cut him. "And also, I am quite surprised to hear that you are a Platinum student. How did you become a Platinum student so quickly?"
Lucius smirked and clasped his hands behind his back. He turned to Magnus. "I'm a genius. That's it. But I didn't come here just to talk about my promotion. I'm here because of what it represents."
Magnus blinked, processing Lucius's words before his eyes widened with realization. He stepped forward, his competitive fire reigniting. "Elder, are you saying—?"
Lucius smirked and nodded. "Yes, Magnus. It is what you are thinking about."
Magnus smirked and jumped in excitement. It was time for him to also become stronger.
