Beast Hack: Customizing Beasts and Capturing Beauties

Chapter 124: Platinum Sparks

The vice headmaster and the observers stared at the scene before them. They were surprised to see how the battle was concluded.

The fourth observer leaned forward. "I can't believe it. The fight was completely one-sided. That lion... it's stronger than we thought."

The second observer crossed her arms and nodded. "A Silver Flame Lion of this caliber is exceedingly rare. Its power rivals even the strongest beasts of its rank."

The third observer furrowed his brow and turned to Lucius. "Where did you find such a rare and powerful beast? A Silver Flame Lion like that doesn't just appear out of nowhere."

Lucius smirked. He stepped forward amusedly as he addressed the question. "You're right. The Silver Flame Lion is incredibly rare. But he didn't start this way."

The observers exchanged puzzled glances. They didn't understand what Lucius meant, but they were curious and waited for him to explain.

Lucius gestured toward Leon with a casual wave of hand and continued. "Leon was originally just a Flame Lion. I used a significant amount of rare resources to evolve him into a Silver Flame Lion."

There was silence for a moment and then the reaction rippled through the group. The observers, along with the Vice Headmaster, sat up straighter. They were in shock.

The fourth observer glared at Lucius. "You evolved it? You're saying you personally oversaw the evolution from Flame Lion to Silver Flame Lion?"

Lucius shook his head and smirked. "Not oversee, but personally evolve it. It wasn't easy. The resources required were immense, and the process demanded precision."

Lucius then smirked and gestured toward Leon. "But the results speak for themselves, don't they?"

The vice headmaster leaned forward. He clasped his hand together as he studied Lucius closely.

"If what you say is true, then your skills as an Evolist are better than I thought. The evolution of this caliber, particularly to this type of beast, is almost unheard from 4-Star Evolists and below."

The second observer glanced at the vice headmaster. "If he's capable of that level of evolution, his presence in the Platinum Class isn't just warranted—it's necessary."

Lucius smirked and turned his attention fully to the Vice Headmaster. "So, vice headmaster. Do I need to do another test, or have I passed?"

The Vice Headmaster chuckled and shook his head. "You're bold, Lucius. But no, there's no need for another test."

He then opened his hands wide. "You've demonstrated your abilities as an Evolist, both in theory and in practice. Your beast's strength and your methods leave no doubt."

He stood and announced it. "Lucius has passed the Platinum Class evaluation. Prepare the documentation and ensure his transition is immediate."

The observers nodded in agreement. They talked among themselves as they prepared to finalize the decision.

Lucius stepped forward and glanced at the vice headmaster. "So, Vice Headmaster. Should I return to my Golden Residence for now, or...?"

The vice headmaster chuckled. He took out a card from his pocket and tossed it to Lucius.

"That's the key to the Platinum Residence. You've earned it. Head there directly. The third observer here will show you the way."

Lucius examined the key for a moment before putting it in his spatial ring. "I see. Then let's not waste time."

He turned to the nervous third observer, who gestured toward the exit. "Follow me. I'll take you there."

Liora and Luna moved to Lucius's side as they began walking toward the Platinum Residence.

The third observer led the way. He occasionally glanced back at Lucius. He was intrigued by the new Platinum student but hesitant to say anything.

As they neared the Platinum Residence, two students stepped into their path, blocking their way.

Both were older. Their platinum-class badges shone on their clothes. Lucius could see that they deliberately blocked their way.

The third observer looked at them and frowned. "What are you two doing here?"

One of the students, a thin young man with a smug expression, shrugged lazily. "Nothing. We were just walking around and happened to notice some... beautiful company."

His eyes then drifted toward Liora and Luna and smirked. "Thought we'd say hello."

The third observer frowned. "Watch your mouth. These aren't just anyone—they're Lucius's maids. He's the new Platinum student."

The second student, who was broader and more imposing, raised an eyebrow. "A new Platinum student?"

He exchanged a glance with his companion. "It's been a long time since we've had one."

The thin student crossed his arms and smirked. "Even so, we're the seniors here. So you'd better show some respect, Lucius, or things might get... unpleasant."

The third observer frowned. He wanted to intervene, but Lucius placed his hand on his shoulder to stop him.

Lucius smiled and assured him. He was also quite amused. "Don't worry. I'll take care of this myself."

The third observer hesitated but stepped back. He allowed Lucius to walk forward. Liora and Luna exchanged brief glances but said nothing.

Lucius approached the pair and smirked. He tilted his head slightly. "So, I take it you're the welcoming committee?"

The thin student frowned a bit after looking at Lucius' demeanor. "We're just making sure the new guy knows how things work around here."

He then stepped forward and warned Lucius. "You might have just gotten into Platinum Class, but that doesn't mean you outrank us."

The broader student added, "Yeah. It'd be wise to show some humility. We're nobles, after all."

Lucius chuckled and shook his head. "I see, so both of you are nobles, huh? No wonder, you were always so concerned with rank and respect."

Both of them stiffened slightly, but Lucius continued before they could respond. "Let me make one thing clear. I didn't get here by luck, favoritism, or lineage."

Lucius then stepped forward and glanced at them. "I earned my place and I don't bow to anyone. Even so to the insecure seniors that clinged to their titles."

Both of the thin and broad students were mad after hearing it. They never thought that the new junior would be this arrogant.
