[CURRENT POINTS: 2200]

Lukas exhaled.

His hands were shaking.

Not from fear.

Not from pain.

From rage.

The screen flickered in his face, but he barely paid attention to it.

His family was in danger.

And Piltover, Zaun, Silco, Enforcers—

None of that mattered anymore.

He checked the bodies.

One of the goons had his revolver.

Lukas grabbed it.

The weight of it in his palm was familiar. Right.

---

[SYSTEM STORE OPENED.]

His vision flickered.

[AVAILABLE POINTS: 2200]

He was low on EVE.

Not gonna let that stop me.

[PURCHASED: 3 EVE HYPOS – 300 Points]

A second later—

Three syringes materialized in his hand.

He injected one immediately.

The rush was instant.

His veins hummed with power.

Better.

[REMAINING POINTS: 1900]

Then—

His eyes scanned the list.

Weapons. Defenses. Upgrades.

Then—

He saw it.

And he grinned.

[ PLASMID: INSECT SWARM – 400 Points]

[CONFIRM PURCHASE?]

Lukas didn't hesitate.

[YES.]

The syringe fell into his palm.

The liquid inside glowed.

Lukas stared at it.

Then—

He rolled up his sleeve.

And injected it.

---

It burned.

Not like fire.

Not like electricity.

Like something inside him was waking up.

A buzzing sensation crawled under his skin.

A pressure built in his chest.

He gritted his teeth—

And then—

The swarm came.

From his arms. From his veins. From the very marrow of his bones.

Hundreds of them.

Buzzing. Hungry. Ravenous.

Lukas exhaled.

A cold, humorless chuckle escaped his lips.

"Oh… I like this."

---

Footsteps.

More of Silco's goons.

They had heard the gunshot.

They were coming.

Lukas welcomed it.

Because now?

Now it was his turn.

The first wave came fast.

They barely had time to register what they were seeing before—

"NO MERCY FROM THE SWARM!"

---

Screams.

One of the goons yelped.

Slapped at his face, his arms, his neck.

The swarm burrowed into his sleeves, crawling under his armor, slipping beneath his clothes—

Biting.

Tearing.

Devouring.

"THEY'RE INSIDE ME!"

The idiot started shooting wildly, trying to kill what he couldn't even see.

Two of his own men collapsed.

Bullets in their skulls.

A guy rushed him with a machete.

Bad idea.

Lukas sidestepped—fast—grabbing the idiot by the throat.

Electricity surged through his fingers.

The guy seized.

Eyes rolling back.

Smoke pouring from his mouth, his nose, his fucking eyeballs.

Lukas tossed the corpse like garbage.

Another goon tried to run.

Lukas saw him.

A casual flick of his wrist—

And a loose metal pipe went flying.

It slammed through the guy's leg—

Pinning him to the wall like a goddamn insect.

The man screamed, thrashing.

Lukas strolled up to him.

The goon gasped, choking on his own breath.

"Mercy P-please—!"

Lukas tilted his head.

"There is no mercy."

Then—

He snapped his fingers.

The bees responded.

Ripping into him.

One by one—

They fell.

---

By the time Lukas left the abandoned warehouse—

23 men were dead.

[YOU HAVE GAINED 11,500 POINTS]

But he didn't have time.

He bolted toward Benzo's.

"Hope i'm not too late."

---

The moment he reached the shop—

A terrible sight greeted him.

Blood.

Too much blood.

Benzo's body lay motionless.

The Enforcers—dead.

And Ekko—

Ekko was crying.

His small hands gripped Benzo's torn coat.

His face buried in his mentor's chest.

He was talking.

Muttering to himself.

To Benzo.

But Benzo would never answer again.

Lukas's breath hitched.

He moved before he realized it.

He ran to Ekko.

He dropped to his knees.

"Ekko!"

Ekko flinched.

His eyes were red.

Tears streaked his face.

"Lukas…"

His voice shook.

Lukas reached for him.

Ekko broke.

His tiny fists pounded against Lukas's chest.

"They took him!"

Lukas didn't stop him.

Didn't push him away.

Ekko hit him again.

And again.

And again.

"They took Vander!"

His voice cracked.

"They killed Benzo!"

His body shook.

"I—I couldn't do anything!"

And then—

Ekko's fists stopped.

His fingers curled into Lukas's coat.

And he collapsed against him.

Crying.

Lukas held him.

Tightly.

Because this?

This was his family.

And he failed them.

But he wouldn't fail them again.

---

Ekko sniffled.

Lukas's voice was quiet.

"Where?"

Ekko hesitated.

Then—

"They took him to the old factory. Near the docks."

Lukas exhaled.

He gently pulled Ekko away.

Looked him in the eye.

"Go inside the shop."

Ekko froze.

"Lukas, no—"

"Now."

Ekko clenched his fists.

His breath hitched.

But he listened.

Because Lukas wasn't playing anymore.

Because the last time he let someone take from him—

It was his parents.

Not again.

Never again.

He stood.

He looked down at Benzo's body.

He whispered.

"Silco will pay for what he's done."

Then—

He turned.

And that's when he saw it.

Ekko's strange bike.

His Mono-Wheel.

Near the entrance of the shop.

Waiting.

A way to get there faster.

Lukas stared at it.

"Sorry, Ekko." he muttered.

"I'm stealing your bike."

The controls were easy enough.

He grabbed the handlebars.

Kicked off the ground.

And bolted.

---

The Lanes blurred past him.

The Mono-Wheel roared beneath him, tearing through the city streets.

He was moving fast.

Too fast.

He needed more speed.

Lukas focused.

His fingers twitched.

Telekinesis gripped the frame of the wheel.

And then—

He lifted.

The Mono-Wheel left the ground.

Riding the air.

Lukas tilted his body.

The wheel spun—sideways—toward the walls of a building.

And he rode straight up.

People stopped in the streets.

Watching.

Jaw-dropped.

A goddamn madman was riding a Mono-Wheel up a building.

Defying gravity.

Lukas grinned.

He kicked forward.

Leaped from rooftop to rooftop, the wheel barely touching the edges before launching him to the next.

Faster.

Faster.

The factory was near.

He could hear the commotion inside.

And then—

He saw the skylight.

His ticket in.

Lukas angled the wheel.

Tilted forward.

Rushed toward the edge of the last rooftop.

And then—

He jumped.

The glass shattered.

Lukas crashed through the skylight—

Right into hell.
