News spread to the temporary command center. Guang Yao ordered calmly, and sweat constantly flowed down his forehead.

When the final battle was about to begin, he sensed the pressure on his shoulders.

Ye Zhongming and the others trusted him and passed all the leadership to his hands. This wasn’t a joke. If he made a mistake, someone would die!

Two thousand rockets exploded, sending the group closest to Cloud Peak’s heads to fly back. Large patches of flesh and blood fell from the sky.

The rocket launchers were too weak to deal with higher-level lifeforms, but they were useful against groups. If the target had a bad defense, it could cause damage in a large area.

Mutated lifeforms evolved very quickly, but like humans, there were differences in their levels. After the rockets were fired, many low-level lifeforms were killed. They couldn’t continue flying and fell.

Cloud Peak’s shots were very detailed and researched. The distance between each explosion was very even, such that they managed to cover the biggest area. Large bits of the sky were covered by the smoke after the explosion.

Then, the Wind Ball Mortars fired.

The moment this weapon was used on a large scale, it had a shocking effect.

The first thing they fired were the wind balls.

These giant balls flew into the sky. They weren’t quick. But the rockets had already caused chaos, and the smoke blocked their vision. Most of the wind balls reached their furthest range before exploding.

The strong wind element energy swept the sky, causing the mutated lifeforms to lose their sense of direction. Blood and pain had sent these fellows who flapped their wings mad.

The wind balls were stronger than the rockets. The damage killed many enemies, and corpses fell from the sky each second. Those badly injured tried to glide to maintain balance, but some still fell into the humans. They were either killed or eaten by other mutated lifeforms.

After the wind ball, the Violent Lightning Turrets and wind blades started their attacks. Dense lightning and wind blades charged into the flying beasts, claiming their lives.

Lightning and wind blades were much stronger against single targets. After hitting the flying lifeforms, the number of lifeforms killed today peaked.

These three waves were slow but occurred in an instant. The region that was the focus was cleared. Those that survived were all very high leveled and were at least level five. Even they were injured and only a few were perfectly fine.

This was the signal to begin. The weapons turned in another direction.

The female guards were the leaders and helped to hold back flying lifeforms in another region. They killed targets and focused on preventing them from hitting the Cloud Peak warriors on the ground.

Xia Bai personally led a few dozen people to the center of the battlefield and entered the center of the Cloud Peak warrior formation. As the team started retreating, they would attack when flying lifeforms broke their firepower net.

These people were job users with strong single-target damage. A few dozen were enough to ensure those lifeforms wouldn’t cause many problems.
