Chapter 19: Travel Experience PT2
The hoard was coming fast, Everyone felt the building shaking from all the foot steps and climbing the infected were doing. I Don't know how they knew we were up here but we have enough ammo to fend them off for five minutes. The horde arrived Pouring in dozens of zombies mixed with the specials infected. I had to use all the pipe bombs I had When we were almost overrun for the second time. 2 minutes and 43 seconds remaining.
"Just hold on a little longer!" Bill called out hearing the helicopter getting closer. A tank busted to the elevator doors open and charged towards us. It was funny how easy and fast it went down. The next wave came and the helicopter got closer only a minute and a halve. Bill got pounced on and I gave him my only bottle of pills after we got the hunter off him.
A smoker grabbed Louis and dragged him near the horde, Francis and Zoey shot the smoker down and Bill and me backed him up. The helicopter finally showed next to the helipad. "Hurry up everyone get to the chopper." Bill ordered rushing every one to the helicopter.
The moment we got on the helicopter another tank appeared picking up a piece of concrete and chucking it at us. The pilot barely dodged the the chunk. "Woah that was too close." Francis said a bit shakily and sitting down. Both Zoey and bill went to talk to the pilot while I look over the city covered in zombies like an ants.
Not even ten minutes had passed before the pilot started to turn and Zoey shot him. The moment the helicopter started to go out of control I was thrown out. "MAX!!" The four Yelled as they grabbed something in the helicopter. We were high enough for me to catch myself and land on a building. I watched the vehicle crash down a distance away.
"Well I suppose its time to stop roleplaying." I created some wings and flew away for what seemed like hours observing other survivors being overwhelmed and being infected. I flew more south and found a bridge similar to the one in the passing. I set down in front of the bridge and clear out the the bar next to it. Blocking off the doors I finally have space for myself.
Now ransacking the other houses I bring all furniture, Blankets and pillows as well as remaining canned food. I sat in the building for four days trying to get anything to multiply. I Got it to multiply into five by the end of fourth. So much time experimenting I didn't notice sounds of scavengers and bombings and gun fire.
I barely had any control over the earth. So traveling outside I see a few more zombies than usual, Eliminating them I start destroying nearby building with fast moving chains. The noise causes more infected to run towards the area, Causing a cycle of more zombies to run and cause noise with more buildings going down. I use the earth to trip on coming hordes while figuring out how to shoot spikes or earth that pop boomers and tremendously slow down tanks before being set ablaze.
Like every element I had gotten ahold of I was clearly inefficient in it. I had enough control of earth to create barriers as well as spikes and using the earth to make body armor. I created an arena of sorts where its flat enough. The next step what to collect speakers, Batteries and anything with music on it. This took another two days to set up, With all the zombies and new mutations It took more time to set up.
By the time I set it all up It was night an dark and it was perfect to cause so much noise. I had searched for music such as dubstep and rock or anything loud. Luckily Spotify was here, So I pressed shuffle. The music went off and dozens of speakers started playing fortunate son. I Felt the ground rumbling and thousands of zombies cry out. The show has begun.
Last minute I made the ground slightly wavy as the first infected came forward. Most if not all started tripping on the ground and on each other. Taking advantage of this I put my palm out and with a combination of wind and fire I sent a large wall of flame all around burning hundreds of zombies.
So many zombies running the same direction caused a chain reaction of more zombies to run with every other zombie. This caused all survivors hiding nearby as well as military personals to go into confusion.
Meanwhile I was having fun using everything to it fullest. A group of 13 rushed towards me so I decided to make a shabby version of the destructo disc. A circular shield was created above my head started to spin like a buzz saw before being thrown at the group. I watched as they were split in halve and the and the disc stopped after a couple hundred yards.
I pulled out the bow and tipped the arrow in fire before shooting it in the air and making it split into six. It flew up and when coming down the flame grew hotter, Hitting the ground It exploded in fire covering the surrounding zombies spreading the flame to others.
A month has passed and I had grown more in control of the elements that I knew as well as the rapid creation of mana constructs. I no longer had to use the bow to shoot arrows, No longer had to concentrate as hard to control the elements that I had at my disposal. Earth was getting there now that I could make a golem the size of a two story house.
I had learned nothing else other than how beautiful fire could be. At the moment A constant gust of wind carrying the fire around was the only thing happing around me. There were hardly any infected with the ground burned and cratered. I fixed the craters with the earth and remade the arena for the hundredth time. I was only half a mile away from the bridge.
I turned the music off and walked to the bridge that had some activity now. I jogged to it before seeing the four people trying to get the generator started. I stopped making noise and snuck upon the four I met a month ago. "Boo!" Francis screamed like a girl as every one else was startled and aimed there weapons' at me before stopping. "Max!?" Zoey had shock written all over her face as well as the rest. "Of course its me you didn't think I'd die to some fall did you." "It was hundreds of feet in the air how could you survive?" Louis asked confused.
"Well its not to big of a fall I was fine." "Not to big of a fall!? You should have died." Zoey shouted completely dumbfounded. "Alright shut it, We can question him later but we have some things to do." Bill got everyone's attention as he started up the generator to lift the bridge. This time there were hardly any zombies to interfere so we had plenty of time to converse.
"So how did you survive after the fall?" Louis was the first to question. "I rolled a lot and sprained an ankle." "So what about after, what did you do? Zoey asked next. "Well I took several cars here and build what you probably passed over there." I pointed to my farming grounds. "You did that?! How? Why? Did you make that as a distraction?"
"Well when the world has gone to shit you might have a little fun while you're at it." "Honestly I'm not surprised, The little vampire had always been a little weird even with us before. A Little faster and able to keep up with us and handle the bigger guns?" Francis said with suspicion though probably chocked it up to me being a quote 'vampire'. "Ok and so what if I could keep up with you slow pokes." I responded with a jab at their speed.
"Slow!? We aren't slow we got all the the way down here in a month." He said looking smug. "OoH A mOnTh. I got here in five days so settle down old man." Bill laughed at Francis's' expense. "So Max did you pass by anyone else or were you by yourself the entire time." Zoey questioned me looking almost saddened. "I traveled alone and started to do my own thing like clearing out this entire section of zombies." "Oh so it Was you who was playing the music." Bill said lookin towards me gun on his shoulder.
"Yeah how else am I going to get every infected attention?" "I suppose you aren't wrong but it was stupidly dangerous. Why didn't you try to stay hidden? And how did you deal with all of them?" Bill asked completely perplexed and the other three had more interest in my answer. "A lot of fire and I mean a lot of fire." I responded smiling very eerily. "Little creep." Francis said almost quietly.
The bridge finally finished rising and the four were about to set off. "Can we at least bring him along." Zoey asked quietly to bill. To which he had to really think it over. At the same time the blue screen of bullshittery had appeared infront of me.
[You Know I Really Should Have Expected You Not To Die Any Time Soon, So What I'll Be Doing Is Sending You Back With A Reward Anyway]
"So I can't go with them? Damn Bill is such a badass though."
[You Can Quit Your Glazzing Now]
Before I could respond I was in front of my room in the Midoriya house hold again but clean this time.
[I Got Rid Of The Virus That Clang To You So Don't Worry About Spreading It Here.]
"Oh cool thanks I guess."
I went to my bed to finally go to sleep and for an hour my ears were on high alert and heard someone come to my room. Shifting slightly I peak to see a glowing green eyes staring at me. 'Oh Its only Izuku.'
She didn't blink when she walked as quietly walked to the side of my bedside. I could swear that her eyes glowed slightly brighter. "I don't know what you are planning with that frog girl but I know your mine, Forever. You've been so nice to me so don't think about replacing me now." Izuku sounded a little deranged as she cupped my face.
'Oh, oh, oh, that's the alteration. This is fine,'
