After a moment of thought, Donnie came to the only bedroom door in the living room and pushed it open!

A few minutes later, Albert Furr came out.

"If it wasn't for you, I could have continued!" said Albert Furr, somewhat dissatisfied.

Donnie let out a chuckle and said, "Maybe!"

"What do you mean maybe, it's certain!" Albert Furr stated seriously.

Donnie laughed out loud but did not continue the topic of Albert Furr being interrupted.

"I heard that Harding wants you to take the position of Minister of the Interior."

Albert Furr laughed heartily, "Donnie, my friend, are you already looking to do business with our great U.S. Government?"

Donnie spread his hands exaggeratedly, "Do I want all the high officials of the U.S. Government to gamble in Atlantic City?"

Albert Furr was stunned for a moment, as Donnie's words indeed made him think that Donnie was preparing to do business with the U.S. Government.

After all, since Harding's election as President of the United States, Albert Furr had already received no less than 50 such phone calls!

Only listening to what Donnie was saying now did it not seem to be the case!

"Albert, I just think you are a very good person and want to become good friends with you. If you think I have other ideas, then all I can hope for is that you have a good time in Atlantic City!"

Donnie said somewhat unhappily... because he knew an unsolicited offer is not a deal!

Albert Furr laughed heartily, "Donnie, I was wrong about this. In fact, we all like you a lot, otherwise we would not have chosen Atlantic City as our vacation spot!"

Only then did Donnie show a satisfied smile again, "Albert, as friends, I warmly welcome you to visit Atlantic City often. In order to give you a God-like treatment in Atlantic City, I have decided to open a special account for you once the Surf Hotel is completed next year. As one of the first VIP guests of the Surf Hotel, you will have a credit limit of half a million US Dollars!"

Albert Furr was initially delighted, after all, he had done nothing and had already been given half a million US Dollars for free, but he then showed a puzzled expression, as he had done nothing.

Why would Donnie give him a credit limit of half a million US Dollars?

Was it possible that the other party wanted to have some hold over him?

"Albert, don't worry, our Surf Hotel's VIPs are all registered anonymously. That means you can pick any name you like. As long as you have the account name and password, you can access this half a million US Dollars credit limit!"

Albert Furr suddenly felt like he had understood Donnie's strategy and then said with a smile, "Since you've already said we're friends, Donnie, I shouldn't refuse you. Rest assured, I will bring even more friends here!"

Donnie could not possibly explain to Albert Furr that he already knew Albert Furr's biggest hobby was to take a gamble every now and then, and what he was doing now was actually in preparation for next year when those oil magnates would set their sights on the three major oil fields, so he could make his move!

After a night of madness, Donnie met with Harry alone!

"Has Hoover already come to find you?"

Harry, looking somewhat haggard, rubbed his temples.

Donnie nodded, "That's right, Hoover hopes that I can become his inside man in the Family Alliance, providing him with information!"

"Absolutely absurd!" Harry said with some dissatisfaction, "You have no relation to the Family Alliance, what kind of inside man does he want you to be!"

Harry was indeed unsatisfied, as he had already signaled to Hoover. According to his request, he hoped that Hoover could become friends with Donnie, but now Hoover's actions were clearly going against his orders.

So Harry was not angry about Donnie's relationship with the Family Alliance, but because Hoover had not listened to him!

"Donnie, rest assured, I'm going to reprimand him severely!"

Facing Harry's anger, Donnie said with a smile, "No worries, at least this proves that Hoover is a person who dares act. Having such a person under you makes it easier for you to work in the Department of Justice, considering he has been the assistant director of the intelligence division for some time now!"

"Donnie, you're always so considerate of others, but such a character can lead to disadvantages!"

Harry said to Donnie.

Donnie humbly smiled, "I'm always happy to do something for my friends!"

Harry laughed heartily, "Indeed, we are friends!"

After discussing this matter, Harry and Donnie spoke about their cooperation.

"I've already made contact with the Coast Guard in cities like Chicago and Los Angeles. Some of them are our connections, some are not yet, but I believe it won't be long before they all become our connections!"

Harry D'Agostino had already firmly tied himself to Donnie's lucrative ship, and now that their business was just starting, Harry D'Agostino could already take away 50,000 US Dollars in cash from Donnie every month.
