“Only the three of us know about what happened back then. Xu Chun is still a child. What can she know!” Old Madam Xu said moodily.

“Who is Xu Chun going to marry?” Liu Xiao asked while enduring the pain.

“Fortunately, Qiao Mei is kind enough to let Xu Chun marry the eldest son of the Wang family, which is in line with our original plan. Otherwise, Xu Chun might have to suffer at the hands of some good-for-nothing!” Xu Tian said in annoyance.

Although Xu Tian favored boys over girls and definitely thought more highly of boys, Xu Chun was still his biological daughter after all. If Qiao Mei had really wanted Xu Chun to marry a good-for-nothing, Xu Tian would not have agreed. He could not possibly sacrifice the happiness of his own family for his second brother’s happiness.

“Who is it?” He Ning looked up and asked.
