A rare magical miracle in the world

Chapter 380: Making Trouble (Seeking Monthly Votes)

With the arrival of the Southern Kings, the Eastern Empire and the Far North Empire became the focal point of the entire Kings' conference due to the presence of Emperors.

In fact, in previous gatherings of the myriad kings, these Emperor-level Masters of Miracles would almost never participate.

It wasn't that they looked down on the Miracle Union meetings; rather, there usually wasn't much to discuss.

If there were indeed important matters, the Holy Emperor and the prophets of each country would definitely notify everyone in advance, just like this time. Almost all Masters of Miracles capable of attending had already arrived.

One hundred and seventy-three Masters of Miracles being present was definitely an exaggeration, but there were surely at least a hundred.

"I am honored by your presence," he said.

The Emperor Candidate stood at the very front of the large fan-shaped conference room, first paying his respects to the Holy Emperor, the Eastern Conquest Emperor, the Empress of the Far North, and the Empress of the East—the four individuals representing their respective nations' highest leadership: "As the organizer of this meeting, I will be the host. I hope everyone can grant me this favor and set aside usual disputes for the time being."

"I will spare you any unnecessary words," he added.

Emperor Candidate: "The reason everyone has come, aside from some minor matters and disputes, I believe what you are most concerned about is the incident that occurred before."

Setting priorities, the Emperor Candidate got straight to the point, placing the most important issue before the Kings.

Clearly, he also understood that if the Twilight issue was not resolved, everyone probably wouldn't be in the mood to discuss anything else.

"According to the prophets' judgment, the most likely place for that Miracle to appear," the Emperor Candidate looked towards the position of the Yatun Duchy, then spoke, "Please explain it to us, Grand Duke of Yatun."

"Yatun, that Yatun? The one from 200 years ago? Didn't the Iron Eagle King destroy it?"

"It seems I heard before about a new Master of Miracles."

Those who would have such discussions typically weren't closely connected to the old uncle; they mostly came from the Northern Continent, that is, the Eastern Empire and the Ancient Empire's territories.

As for this side of Miracle New Continent, Bailuo's existence was no secret. Those acquainted with the old uncle had heard of the 'Yatun Duchy' after the end of the battle at the ancient city, immediately guessing its relation to the old uncle.

"How do you plan to deal with it, young man?"

The Supreme Emperor of the North sat alongside Ygsella, who also focused on the Yatun area, yet her gaze lingered more on her senior sister.

"I am the one who obtained that Miracle," Bailuo said as he stood up. He didn't conceal it but walked straight towards the Emperor Candidate, standing before hundreds of Kings.

"Duke Yatun is very conscientious," the Emperor Candidate remarked.

His current role wasn't Dumu'an, so he couldn't express any animosity towards Yatun: "So please give us a reasonable explanation, and the Kings may also ask their questions according to their own doubts, Your Highness."

"What do you think, Duke Yatun?"

"It's acceptable."

The Masters of Miracles held equal status, none more noble than the other, so the Kings wouldn't use a 'questioning' tone—that would be too impolite.

"For this meeting, I believe everyone is eager to know about that Miracle," Bailuo said. "Please feel free to ask, and I will answer without any reservation as long as I am able."

The Kings at the front went silent for a while as Bailuo passed the initiative to them instead of speaking on his own.

What surprised Bailuo, however, was that the Kings did not rush to inquire, but instead focused their gaze on the Emperors of those few great empires.

Clearly, even in the world of Miracles, the principle of the strong being revered still applied. The Great Emperors not speaking meant the weaker Princely Kings didn't dare to inquire first.

Furthermore, they had the taller ones to stand up when the sky fell.

This matter wasn't simple, as the atmosphere of destroying heavens and earth was no longer a concern for only a single Master of Miracles.

"Since no one else is willing to start, allow this old man to throw a brick to attract jade."

The Holy Emperor's voice was certainly stern, but when he looked at Bailuo, he subtly gave him a suggestive glance, "What kind of miracle is this? Since you claim to have full knowledge, please be the first to inform us of its details."

"Naturally!"

Bailuo understood Chubby Simpleton's hint, and he had never intended to conceal the existence of Twilight.

The information about a Supreme Tier Miracle simply could not be kept hidden. It was better for him to reveal it than for the prophets to announce it.

"You all must be aware that there are twenty-eight camps of miracles," Bailuo said. "The miracle I have obtained is indeed the most powerful one from one of these camps, the Supreme Tier Miracle 'Divine Twilight.'"

"Supreme Tier?!"

The kings who were unaware of the truth were abuzz with discussion, while the prophets who had early knowledge of it now wore grave expressions.

Compared to those in the dark, they were obviously much more aware of the horrors of Twilight.

"Divine Twilight is an extremely dangerous miracle. Its status as a Supreme Tier Miracle precisely indicates how terrifying it is," Feng Xi began. "The kind of scenes we witnessed earlier, I believe the prophets here must have also sensed the aura of destruction within."

"My question is," Feng Xi spoke up, "how can you assure us that possessing such a potent miracle, you won't become a threat to others?"

"Feng Xi."

Before Bailuo could respond, Ying Muyao spoke out in a deep voice, "Let him finish first. There are likely many among us who have never heard of Twilight."

Feng Xi and Ying Muyao were both from the Eastern Empire and, theoretically, they should have a sovereign-subject relationship.

The Eastern Empire was not like Iron Eagle or Starry Night—there was real centralized authority there.

But what was going on now?

As a Princely King, Feng Xi was blatantly ignoring Ying Muyao. If it were just that, it wouldn't be much, but the Empress of the East immediately 'scolded' him.

A contradiction!

Was the Eastern Empire in internal conflict?

Or was this all an act?

'Surely not.'

At the Kingdom of Mountains, the King of Aolai and the Sky King exchanged glances, both noticing the confusion in each other's eyes: 'With the strength of the Eastern Empire, there's no need for pretense, right? Could it be there's truly some internal issue?'

At this moment, Ying Muyao was also quite dissatisfied. Feng Xi's sudden move was clearly intended to disrupt her rhythm.

This guy had figured out that Chubby Simpleton was helping Bailuo, thus making an early move to prevent Bailuo from steadying himself.

"Your Highness, the Empress of the East, and Lord Feng Xi."

Bailuo calmed his sister with the Voice of Miracle; he wasn't affected at all. "Both of you make valid points, but please allow me to address them one by one. There are so many people here and so many questions that if everyone interrupts me like you did, no matter how capable I am, I wouldn't be able to address everyone's concerns."

"Brother."

Feng Wa'er quickly tugged at her brother's sleeve, only to find that Feng Xi had calmly seated himself, seemingly unconcerned with the gazes of others.

"You're right," Feng Xi said, "but I believe a Supreme Tier Miracle surpasses the understanding of most people here. The most crucial issue is its authenticity."

"We cannot rely solely on your word."

"Perfect!"

Feng Xi responded quickly. He turned to the Marquis of Heavenly Mandate from Iron Eagle, the Sky King from the Mountains, and the Cain Empress from the Starry Night Empire: "There are many prophets among us. Let's first hear their opinions, shall we?"
