A rare magical miracle in the world

Chapter 255: Zhu Xia Country (Vote for Monthly Ticket)

"Boom!"

At this very moment, on the southeastern coast of the New Continent, nearly a thousand miles away, a stunning beauty dressed in animal hide was holding a long spear, stirring and slapping the sea surface with it.

She plunged the spearhead into the water and gently lifted it, causing the surrounding waves to tumble and countless fish to fall like rain.

"Wow~~"

"Zongbu Mifei big sister is so amazing!"

"So many fish, so many fish!"

Children, following the woman known as Zongbu Mifei, cheered joyfully; they, too, were dressed in simple garments, looking like ancient people from the primordial era.

These people were neither the native inhabitants of Miracle Mainland nor citizens from the Eastern Empire of the Northern Continent.

They hailed from the far-off Lost Lands, refugees who had drifted over the sea following the sinking of their continent.

On Miracle Mainland, these people had a unified name—Da Huang People.

The Female Archduke A'li was also one of the Da Huang People; she had established Zhuxia Country.

Zhuxia was situated at the far eastern edge of the Iron Eagle Kingdom, bordering Star Night, and was the only country that had some friction with the Brilliant Duchy.

Zhuxia was impoverished and undeveloped; the number of its citizens was small, totaling no more than 200,000.

With a mere population of 200,000, it was still regarded as a country—a fact that Bailuo found quite shocking when he first heard of this place.

The Da Huang People were much like the ancient forebears from Bailuo's previous life, stubborn and resilient, fearing not death; but because of this, they did not blend in with the surrounding countries, and even their alliance with the six Iron Eagle nations was lukewarm at best.

Only the Marchioness of Clearspring would aid Zhuxia Country, preventing the occasional great famines here from causing starvation.

"Everyone, use the fishing nets to bring them back."

Zongbu Mifei, that wasn't her name, but a title.

Zongbu was her battle stance, with the bow and arrows as her weapon, making her the strongest archer in all of Da Huang, and Mifei was a term of respect for her beautiful appearance.

For hundreds of years, generations of the Da Huang People had perished, but they still remembered the five deities who had protected them.

When a woman washed her hair by the river bank, her pure white garment and the beautiful figure under the moonlight became a legend throughout Zhuxia Country. People called her the goddess who washed her hair in the Milky Way, which was the origin of the title Mifei.

However, few knew that she also had a name—she was called Heng'e, and some called her Chang'e as well.

Before being chosen by Duke A'li, when she was just an ordinary person among the Da Huang People, she was the strongest huntress in the village and also the most beautiful woman Zhuxia had seen in a thousand years.

"You've been daydreaming a lot lately, is something on your mind?"

A stable and solemn voice came from the giant rock by the seaside; it belonged to a muscular man, around forty years old, with a bald head and a fierce appearance.

He was called Nutouch Mountain, also known as Lord Nutouch Mountain, and like Chang'e, he was one of the four Guardian Gods of Zhuxia Country.

"I'm just worried about them, Big Brother Nutouch Mountain."

"You're still as kind-hearted as ever, little Chang'e."

Under A'li's command were four powerful beings comparable to the Miracle Entity; the oldest was known as Yu Yuan Weng, the second was Lord Nutouch Mountain, followed by the Ganqi God, and then the youngest, who had received A'li's grace just over four hundred years ago, Zongbu Mifei Chang'e.

"We don't possess the power to shelter them, we can only let them have enough food and warmth."

The Da Huang People on this land suffered from a curse by other Masters of Miracles, making reproduction difficult. For eight hundred years, they lingered here, still confined.

"It's meaningless, whatever you do."

Nutouch Mountain raised his massive gourd of wine and took several hearty gulps: "The birth of the four of us was already the limit of old man Li. There won't be a fifth."

"Zhuxia is finished," said Nutouch Mountain, "taking good care of one generation is all we can do, what else is there?"

"Then why do you always stay here?"

Lord Nutouch Mountain remained on the coastline, with the sole purpose of repelling invasions from the outside. The Da Huang People had a sparse population, and just one battle of miracles could wipe them out.

For seven hundred years, Lord Nutouch Mountain had sat by the sea, never leaving a single step.

They say they absolutely won't eat it, but afterward, it's delicious indeed. That's exactly what Lord Nutouch Mountain is like.

"Hmm?"

Suddenly, Lord Nutouch Mountain looked doubtfully at the gourd of wine he had raised; he saw that the liquid that was supposed to pour out stopped mid-air.

"Time."

Chang'e's beautiful brows furrowed slightly, and her jade hand swept through the air; countless splashing waves shattered in her hands, "has stopped?"

"It's not that time has stopped," Lord Nutouch Mountain put down the huge gourd of wine, stood up, and looked toward the distant coastline, "it's that we are too fast."

"Divine Speed Realm, the old man's move."

"Invaders!!"

Chang'e's eyes conveyed shock and anger; she hadn't expected that a Child of Miracle could evade her perception and sneak across this sea area.

"Swish!"

She raised her hand, and a splendid longbow appeared in the woman's hand, "Over there?"

"Boom!!"

The ship shattered, but the wood splinters only slowed down as they flew, ultimately leaving behind a merchant ship that was about to collapse but only cracked.

"State your name, stowaway!"

The elder radiated holy white light from all over his body, especially his flamboyant white beard, which fluttered without wind, making it extremely conspicuous in this still world.

"What's going on?"

Gongsun Wu looked at the burly elder who had suddenly appeared on the deck, whose more than 3 meters tall, domineering presence, as if from ancient times, indeed brought tremendous pressure upon her.

"Time halted? No, it's relative velocity."

Legendary warriors can be immune to many things, including speed and space-time.

Just like now, the elder was approaching at a velocity that nearly brought time to a halt. So within this area, any influenced warrior would perceive the solidification and slowness of time.

"This attire, why would a legendary warrior of the Eastern Empire appear in my territory?"

Yu Yuan Weng scrutinized Gongsun Wu closely, and the next moment, he suddenly sensed something, abruptly turning to see Eastern Empress Ying Muyao: "You are!!!"

"Long time no see, Yu Yuan Weng."

Ying Muyao tapped her folding fan onto her palm and then flicked it open with a swish. Dressed as a man, she was carefree and casual, completely unconcerned about the scene before her or the demon-like elder: "How have you been lately?"

"You. . ."

"An imposter?"

Yu Yuan Weng blurted out instinctively; he had seen the Eastern Empress more than once: "No, you are the real one, but what's with this appearance? Why have you become her?"

"What have you done to her?"

Almost instantly, Yu Yuan Weng thought of that rumor about the Eastern Empress: "You, you sacrificed her, you killed her . . ."

"Roar!!"

Yu Yuan Weng's eyes turned a blazing red, his fury and will to destroy so intense that even Gongsun Wu felt terrified.

"Eastern Empress!!!"

The enormous fist like a mountain, instantly enveloped Ying Muyao: "I want your life!"
