A New Generation of Ninja

As Kat went on her way to head back to Itachi, she felt a tap on her shoulder. For the love of God, Shikana now what do you want? She thought. Slowly turning around she found herself staring at the face of Jairya. One of the 3 legendary Sanai. She smiled seeing that Naruto was with him. "Hello, fox." 

Naruto stood still frozen in fear. He had heard rumors around the village about Kat's beauty and power but seeing her face-to-face. Sasuke had told me that would find Kat and confront her for leaving Sakura. He thought to himself. "Naruto, snap out of it." He heard Jairya say.

Jairya smirked. "Hello, Katherine. What brings you to the village? It couldn't have been to catch up with your sister was it?" No, that's not the reason why she's here at all. I bet the reason why she and Itachi are here has something to do with the Tailed Beasts. He looked into her cold blue eyes behind the sternness he could see a a kind and caring sister. "You don't have to hide behind the mask, Katherine. I know the real you."

Naruto looked up at his master. "Pervy Sage, what are you talking about? It's clear that she's not here to visit Sakura or the village."

Kat didn't let her guard down. "You're very clever Jairya. When I left the village I had Kakashi make me a promise." As much as she tried to fight back the tears that came to her eyes.

"Kakashi told me. I can tell you that he's kept that promise. I can't say that I blame you for your actions. But I can't allow you or Itachi to remain in the village. I have to turn you both in."

A smile came across Kat's face. "So, Sako is still safe?"

Jairya nodded. "And she's getting stronger every day. Tsudane has taken her under her tutorage as a medical kounchi."

"Tell Sako, I wish I could stay but I can't." Her eyes moved towards Naruto. "You're coming with me, Naruto."
